Kunal's Juzzbaat Vs Nandini's Juzzbat!!!!

So, I hear lot of Nandini bashing going on in this forum & it was only few moments ago I came to realize how many of them out there are bashing & blaming Nandini in such pathetic ways. So, I had to make a post to share some crucial points.

Disclaimer- No bashing will be accepted. Disagree politely if you have to. No has the right to wish terrible things upon someone just because they disagree with your point.

I am a neutral viewer who began to watch this show for story. I am not a part of any fanclub. And it began so beautifully. While I could feel Nandini's pain, I could feel Kunal-Mauli's happiness and timely difference of opinions.

Rajdeep is a character I have hated from Day 1. And a man like him deserves nothing but hate, legal punishment for being an animal that he is.

Nandini's Juzzbat-

Right from day 1, I somehow knew why would Nandini fall for Kunal. She comes from a horrible marriage where for 7 years she thought Rajdeep was like every other man. She had no one to compare her husband to. Then came Kunal, a sensible guy who made her understand the wrong she was doing in trying to defend Rajdeep. Her miscarriage & Rajdeep selling her for his own benefit was the final blow to her. And she did what anybody with little courage would do when Mauli came to her rescue & stood by her side as a shield against Rajdeep. With Mauli came in Kunal, who felt the need to protect Mauli's best friend for Mauli's happiness. He didn't save Nandini- his supposed true love, he saved Nandini- Mauli's best friend. After watching Kunal, Nandini realized how a husband should be & the gradual realization led to her taking some firm decisions, something she had never done. Kunal was there in Nandini's worst moments and it's absolutely impossible to forget a person who protected you like your own despite owing you nothing. Kunal saved her so many times from death, humiliation, society, Rajdeep as a sensible human being in the beginning. He had nothing personal with her. He didn't even know about Nandini being Mauli's best friend.

Nandini would have never realized that she harbored any other emotion for Kunal other than respect & gratitude until that baba had told her. And in this, makers literally forced the romantic feeling in Nandini for Kunal. This woman would have spent her entire life adoring Kunal-Mauli's marriage on her own if that baba hadn't come up with the true love thing. Baba's words imprinted hard on her mind & that triggered something she was not supposed to feel at all. And she is guilty of how she has literally cheated on Mauli by harboring a feeling for her best friend's husband.

Nandini is a sensible woman, who very well understands how it feels like to be cheated upon by a husband who you consider most important part of her life. She herself has been through that pain & she would never wish that upon anyone in her complete senses & conscience. Here Mauli is her best friend who stood by her side like no one else. She would never wish that upon her & that is why she is likely to fight this battle of feelings until she is made to give in to this fight by makers.

Nandini can literally live her entire life without revealing she has any sort of romantic feelings for Kunal. People can do that in reality just to make sure their loves ones aren't hurt. And Nandini will do that until makers force her to be with Kunal at the end. Nandini can move on from this phase without even creating any chaos. Nandini is not some vamp or serial home-wrecker, who will knowingly do something wrong to Mauli. She won't be the one to take a initiative for her feelings.She will keep them shielded. In fact she would be the one to reprimand Kunal on his feelings & any other impulsive action he will take. Guilt of ruining Mauli's marriage will always be there in her.

Nandini's feelings don't come as surprise to me at all. Nandini doesn't deserve Rajdeep just because something has triggered in her for her best friend's husband. As a matter of fact, Nandini deserves dignified portrayal of a strong woman rather than a typical woman who would end up with Kunal.

Kunal's Juzzbat-

This is a character I don't understand. His feelings for Nandini just like that come as a surprise to me. Kunal was in a happy marriage for 5 years. He loves Mauli, he adores her. He stands by her. For a man who was strictly against his friend cheating on his wife in the 2nd episode, himself fell for his wife's best friend just after watching her dance in rain, triggering some forbidden feelings is something beyond my reasonable understanding. Kunal doesn't know Nandini. He never knew about her in past or had any sort of connection or romantic feelings for her in the paast. He was not in a marriage that was breaking apart already. He wasn't in a forced marriage. He was fairly stable, secure in his marriage with Mauli whom he loves dearly with passion

He had nothing for Nandini until he saw her dancing in rain. Before that Nandini was a victim & Mauli's best friend who needed to be rescued from Rajdeep. So what exactly happened suddenly in that moment. Nandini atleast had a sub-conscious reason to fall for Kunal. What is that reason for Kunal. Mauli isn't a terrible wife, she cares for his family, him & her major part of her life revolves around him.

Kunal's maid's statement that is it easy for men to fall out of love just like that in a moment is what applies to Kunal.

And then the makers showed Kunal suddenly starting to have feeling for Nandini and not being able to control it & acting impulsively because of the very same irks me all the more. Besides, Kunal began to have feeling for Nandini first which destroys his individual character of being a righteous man. They could have atleast laid the ground for him. He could have developed some bond with Nandini to a depth from where things could take off. He not only began to have feeling for her but was acting out of jealousy when he saw her with her college friend all so soon. Why? You have a wife & Nandini has a right to decide for herself rather than Kunal deciding for her. And Kunal isn't even attempting to control his feelings. Everytime he is choosing Nandini over Mauli, he made the decision for Nandini about how she shouldn't be meeting with her friend, staring at her secretly right in Mauli's presence. This is emotional cheating.

Makers ruined the whole thing by rushing into it. Atleast Nandini's character has been properly established but Kunal has been effectively ruined with that rushing. It will be Kunal who will lead this relationship. He will be taking decisions that will hurt everyone. He will the one who will take initiative for his feelings. He will be the one to decide a lot of things. He will be the one to first hold Nandini's hand in front of the whole world making this relationship announcement in front of the whole world.And that is exactly what has gone wrong. Makers should have given a reason to accept Kunal.

But then I think, there are so many relationships which break just like that hurting so many people and there is no answer to why did that happen. It is all so sudden & one just has to accept the things that are happening. You don't like people who are involved in it but you can't do anything but accept that fact that it has happened & feel bad for the actual victim who is going to be Mauli in this case. In Aniston-Pitt-Jolie case, I felt bad for Aniston. In Winget-Grover-Basu case, I felt bad for Winget. I think it's quite normal to feel like that.

The Conclusion-

The storyline of this show is sensitive & makers have failed to understand & portray that sensitivity. EMA makes the characters involved in it grey. Rajdeep is a black character, Mauli is white but Kunal-Nandini are grey characters here. Each of them have their own set of flaws but it is the grey which is hard to be accepted or justified and that's why it is grey.

When ever Mauli comes to discover the truth, she will feel cheated because none of these 2 people had courage to be honest with her. I hope Mauli is the first one to discover this truth before it goes in front of the world. I don't want Mauli to be part of the crowd that suddenly faces the truth.

Besides, the promos clearly indicated that KuNan wanted to be with each other but were not taking any drastic step only for the sake of Mauli. Now, that doesn't stand justified anywhere. It is technically cheating because you are keeping a person in deliberate darkness on the pretext of protecting her from heart break when on the contrary she has the right to know about what's going on. One should come clean in relationships if you want to prevent them from turning toxic.

The whole true love, destiny, romanticizing such thing won't whitewash the wrong that is happening. Let it be the way it is. No need to play romantic music behind. Audience understands it without that as well. No need to forcefully justify or whitewash any character, mature audience can understand it if it wants to.

And those bashing Nandini are nothing but horrible people themselves who have a very limited perspective to such a complex thing. Those saying Nandini deserves Rajdeep themselves need to be shown a mirror by someone like Rajdeep himself. Physical-emotional trauma is no less than heart-break. Atleast one can move on from heart-break eventually but continuously living in such abusive relationship won't do anything but lead to your death on a horrible note.

P.S- I don't watch this show but I visit the forum and promos give an idea of what's going to happen next. Comment in your views.

Well, in one of my earlier posts, I have already said feelings isn't something you choose to have on someone. I have a lot of guy friends but only 1 or 2 were my crushes.

So, Nandini deducing kunal through Baba's words isn't a big deal either considering Kunal was in her subconscious and somehow. It's the makers who have gone typical with this baba track. There were other ways to show Nandini's realization in a long range but makers have to rush into everything.
