How do you exoect a healthy debate when you yourself are so judgemental about those wanting to ship Kunan? Healthy debates can only happen if you arent already biased and prejudiced to one side of people and clearly that isnt the case here.

Can you please specify where I've been judgemental about those who ship them. I said I was " shocked " that they are being shipped and that it is against my morals, so I have a problem with that.I have never made any personal comments against people who are shipping them( unlike you) so where was I judgemental.
I'm not insensitive to people who can't raise their voice against abuse, I just said that it doesn't justify EMA either

So I am going to do the honours of quoting you word by word and here you go -"My only problem is people shipping Kunal and Nandini. "
You CLEARLY stated you have a problem with those that ship KuNan. And then you try to tell me you arent being judgemental? And where have I passed personal comments on people shipping them? And about the insensitivity part it wasnt addressed to you but to certain people who are mocking her condition as abla shivering naari. Like what do you expect her to be like after being violated and torrured everyday. All happy go lucky and dancing beside trees? Atleast exoectations toh realustic rakho!

You clearly stated you had a PROBLEM with people shipping them and yes that IS judgemental! You dont have to make personal comments to be judgemental. You can be judgemental even without getting personal. Also making a post on one's own moral compass and judging those that dont adhere to that predefined compass comes under moral policing I am afraid. It is a clear violation of IF rules to moral police and I hope you know that.

Exactly! I said I have a problem with that. But I was neither JUDGING people for their choices nor was I stopping them from doing what they want. Peace

Thats exactly why I am saying you are judgemental. Why cant people ship Kunan? Why should you judge them with a moral compass and say how can they possibly ship them because it is so morally wrong. Not everything is about being morally right and perfect. Flawed people do exist too. I have seen the most high and morally uptight people compromising on their values when situations dont favour them. Such is life. If someone wants to give Kunan a chance and ship them I dont see why you should have any problem with them unless offcourse you are judging them through a moral compass which is very much the case here.

Probably like you were judging people as insensitive using your OWN moral compass 😉

Is infidelity progressive?

The answer to that question would be NO, but hasn't the concept of infidelity lived with us for centuries. My ex-neighbour has been with his wife and his partner for donkey years. In Egypt I bhabi found a couple holidaying, he who's a married man and a father of 3 and she a single girl, so bhabi comes home and generalises the whole town as being flip-mongers lol. But that's the reality, sad and frustrating. I doubt they were influenced by a show to be exact.

However TV's have shown it for years, haven't the male leads always wavered to some other female before realising their mistake and coming to their wife. So why can't a female represent the same case even if she's the main lead?

My questions above does not in any way mean I ship KuNan, that is probably the only ship I ain't sailing (lol), I like Nan-Mau even DD-Abhi. Maybe in the future, but right now I don't see how I would accept them as a couple. Because makers have already made Mau-Kun a perfect couple for me and YES I AM A DD Fan since GEET days

I am one of the countless Angelina and Brad fan (more Ange tbh and now that they are over, I've tossed Brad like a leaf out my interest zone), but weren't they accepted as a whole. Just because you watch, like or ship a couple that comes out of infidelity does make you any less or more of a person? It's a modern era, things (though unfortunate and morally wrong) does happen? Partners do separate due to this reason.

At first I too was hunting for excuses, shows and books I've watched/read always suggest something must have happened, usually it's the woman neglecting her husband which I feel is rather shallow and feeble of an excuse and yet they showed it here with that other guy who ends up cursing Mauli, so hence now I am watching the show as it is.

If you haven't watched the show, and made the basis of your views on the promos and y'day epi alone then I advise you to give it a shot because as of yet they haven't shown anything to harm the morals or ethics, rather to showcase two beautiful women (Mauli and Nandini), one very loving and caring (at times for me too caring) and Nandini (a victim of domestic violence which hasn't been shown on telly much, well not that I've watched, though that's another thing that I don't watch too much Indian shows, solely DD unless something else catches my eyes).

Anyway neither do I object to KuNan shipping and nor do I belong to that list, at least not until I know why and how they fall for each other?

I think the main problem is people are watching the show with the EMA baggage, let it loose and maybe they would be able to enjoy the show for what it actually is, it is an incredibly well put-out and has the most amazing cast. I haven't watched Mauli or Kunal before so they are new findings.

I see this story more about 2 friends, and the becoming of a strong individual in terms of Nandini.

Anyway thank you for the topic, and I hope I have answered your question.
