I know! I have been waiting for nandini's back story too, like may be the dynamics between her parents or any other couple and her upbringing was such which contribute in making her the way she is...sometimes I feel they won't bother with the backstory at all...nandini only reminiscences about mauli but never about her parents...one thing I have noticed it that nandini desperately craves love which is why she gets a smile on her face whenever rajdeep praises her or is nice to her...it was also in the way she kept wanting to touch and hug mauli.
The three KuNan scenes were beautiful...the first scene with nandini trying to hide her face from kunal because she wouldn't want anybody specially a stranger to see her condition at all and kunal discreetly trying to see just how bad things were...then the rain scene was too intense and the pool scene was shot well too...it brought out the symbolism that kunal is going to save a drowning nandini so well.

Anyway back to other other shades in nandini...I am waiting for when she starts giving it back to rajdeep because DD does those quiet-and-dignified-but-strong scenes so well...it was in the way geet finally fought against and stood up to her family and it was also in the way madhu used to argue with RK too...her voice is so low but there is such fire in it and her eyes...

exactly.most of the soft girls like nandini will only try to save their marriage by bearing all torture because of the society

i guess this one actually! well i have seen well educated working women tolerating their husband's tortures! because divorce is a taboo for Indians and there are a no of people who are very much interested in making a divorcee woman's life hell! anyway, that moment in the bathroom, when Nandu was talking to her unborn baby, she said MOULI MAASI PAPA KO BHI SAMJHA DENGE... she still feels that Rajdeep may change and they can have a happy life!

Yes she has a belief that Rajdeep will change but unfortunately he Rajdeep is a devil .. a bad guy might still change but not a devil .. good she will understand this after loosing her baby and will go with Mouli from where real story starts I guess

In India, marriage should not be broken under any circumstances,,if not the society will see the victims differently,,we may say at this time no one tolerates it,,but it is only a perception...

Still now In rural areas the kind of things happen to Nandhini does happen!!still the girls are taught to worship their husbands as gods and that is the bitter truth!!
In reality, even in urban areas, the educated girls are forced to quit the job so as to start the family and the girl has no other option but to quit!!
We don't know much about Nandhini's life after seperation till reunion with Mauli to endure such torture..we will have to wait for the story to unfold!!

I actually spoke about rural areas in my post becase yes in rural ares divorce is still a taboo but urban places r slowly changing now .. if two people r not compatible , they go for divorce .. these days parents too r very supportive and most women r working , so they r financially independent too .. I dunno why Nandini never did any job , she is educated and today's woman .. she is the one who pushed Mouli to become a doctor .. so why she herself never went onto do something is what I want to know .. they need to show more of her backstory here for us to connect with her better ..

I am waiting for Nandini's backstory too. What kind of a girl was she? What were her dreams and aspirations? What kind of married life did she envision for herself when she got married to this loser? Was she in anyway pressured or blackmailed into marrying him? So many questions!! Hope to find some answers in the upcoming episodes. A word to the makers - we get it that Kunal is the BESTEST husband in the whole world, so no more diabetes inducing scenes please!

Now that Nandini will stay with Kunal and Mouli , I m hoping she opens up about her life and mayb share with them why she married Rajdeep or why she has been tolerating all the abuse over the yrs . will love to see her POV now ..

Next question she seems to be a well educated girl...and there should be a very strong reason behind her still staying with this rajdeep...who knows may be this is same reason why nandini chose Rajdeep over mauli...should see if this will be ever shown in serial...if CV's show nandini as a wife who tolerates all abuse from her husband it doesn;t make any sense...so they need to come up with good reasons on why she is with this fellow from past 7 yrs

I agree on scenes being repetitive...and I feel as if the story is going bit slow...but however I feel now nandini will be finally with Kunal and Mauli...
Looking fwd to watch diff shades of all characters indeed...😊

Because she presents herself like that in front of Rajdeep and so its gives opportunity to Rajdeep to call her by those names when in reality she is a educated girl .. just that she is not working but that dont make her illiterate ..

I also hope there is some reason why even after so much abuse she was sticking to Rajdeep all these yrs .. lets see ..

Story might move now after Nandini's miscarriage

Agree with you ..till now we know Nandini is bearing Rajdeep n this abusive marriage ..but yes some more shades of her like her back story you said should be shown ..n also they can show like in Rajdeep's absence ..she is doing something of her choice or some other stuff etc. Like she become clumpsy in front of Rajdeep out if fear but o/w she loves to do diff things.
Love to see happy moments between buddies ..their past n also the main reason behind her being so feeble..
As previously she was chirpy girl ..
May be she is alone n Rajdeep degraded her so much ..let down her so many times in these years ..that she has lost her confidence..
Family is also not there n Mauli also didn't asked for her any sibling so may be she is totally alone now not able to fight back.
But must say reason must be solid as no one can become this much changed human if their is not any string reason behind it..
Let's see what they will show ..

DD as Nandini ..just wow ..👏

She is playing it so decently n effortlessly ..each frame is awesome when she portrays Nandini's feelings ..loving her in this role ..n now hoping of some action from her side ..in coming episodes.

I think Nandini is creatively talented .. we hv seen her trying out different food dishes and all .. so she might b good with home science and stuff which she can persue now as a career after she starts to stay with Mouli and Kunal .. Would love to see that creative side of Nandini .. I dont want Nandini to just stay at their home doing nothing .. She should persue her dreams now and become independent .. If at all tomorrow Kunal develop any feelings for Nandini , it should b because of her talent and creativity and not because she is a poor victim etc etc ..

I do believe that staying with Rajdeep has hit her self esteem a lot and so she lost that confidence in herself which is sad .. mayb she will rebuilt it again once she starts staying at Kunal and Mouli's house ..

See that is why I m wondering why she never took some job after completing her studies before marriage itself .. it would hv made her self independent and more confident .. She married Rajdeep suddenly .. is there a reason .. Mouli warned her yet she chooses Rajdeep over her best friend ..

Yes Drashti nails such kind of scenes .. from a damsel in distress to a strong fighter .. she has done that in her previous shows with perfection .. I m hoping its the same transformation here .. One day I would love to see a confident Nandini looking straight into Rajdeep's eyes and slapping him hard .. I will surely clap for that episode 😆

I agree that she craves for love .. so thats why I will connect to her even if she falls for Kunal knowing well he is her best friend's husband ..it might b a natural process because she will see a perfect husband goals in Kunal and wont b able to stop feeling for him .. But again my problem is what will make Kunal fall for Nandini when he already has a perfect wife .. thats where I hv difficulty accepting KuNan relation unless CVs later put up a convincing show especially from Kunal's side .. lets see ..

About backstory , I dont hv much hopes either considering most dailies change tracks every week depending on trps .. thats why I made this post asking writers to show more shades of Nandini and her backstory ..in case any writer stalks this forum , they can at least think about it 😆
