Exactly ..I also want to see her doing something ..taking her hobbies n talent as profession..⭐️
I think Nandini is creatively talented .. we hv seen her trying out different food dishes and all .. so she might b good with home science and stuff which she can persue now as a career after she starts to stay with Mouli and Kunal .. Would love to see that creative side of Nandini .. I dont want Nandini to just stay at their home doing nothing .. She should persue her dreams now and become independent .. If at all tomorrow Kunal develop any feelings for Nandini , it should b because of her talent and creativity and not because she is a poor victim etc etc ..
I do believe that staying with Rajdeep has hit her self esteem a lot and so she lost that confidence in herself which is sad .. mayb she will rebuilt it again once she starts staying at Kunal and Mouli's house ..
1. 1. He apologised, he didn't mean it. He was frustrated, it's his love etc the denial mode.
2. 2. He'll change, I've gone through this for this long might as well see him regret his decisions the optimistic stage
3. 3. It's me, I can't appease him. I am good for nothing, I this I that the self-inflicting stage. Where the blame lies in the victim, or so she/he thinks
4. 4. Lived through it all my life, might as well stick with it the giving-up stage.

I don't think there's anything unwillingly tying her to Rajdeep except the fact that she feels like she has nobody else to rely on but him.Quite a common reason for victims of abuse to stay to be honest. Especially when they are not financially independent.

Lovely post, i sort of understand your view of Nandini. The viewers are shown quite a lot of abusive scenes in which she is either submitting or crying. I would defo like to see how she changed to this new being, her past self though restricted (in that Rajdeep flashback) seemed so free with Mauli.Nandini has been subjected to years of torment hence her submission and timid-self makes sense to me. Victims go through a series of thoughts:1. 1. He apologised, he didn't mean it. He was frustrated, it's his love etc the denial mode.

Nandini so far is optimistic (1) and resilient (2), i don't think she blames herself yet hence that a good thing. However i like how they are building her character, like y'day she attacked back and fought for something which she felt was wrong. I suppose no matter what she hadn't expected rajdeep to fall so low. I hope she relalises she needs to rise above all this and show Rajdeep where he truly belongs? Be in a coffin or a cell (both is fine with me😡)But on the whole i totally agree with you, i'd like to see more shades and differences in Nandini. She to me has such scope and that excites me being a DD fan.

I agree... rather than repetitive abuse scenes, they should give more insight into the type of person Nandini was, her background, and why she is putting up with this extreme level of abuse.
I also found it strange that Nandini would choose Rajdeep even after Mauli accuses him of misbehaving with her. It was also strange that Rajdeep would so openly misbehave with Nandini's friend and give up his cover. He seemed so confident that Nandini wouldn't break the relationship.. which makes me wonder what was the circumstance like that Rajdeep had such a hold over Nandini even before marriage.

Usually after few years of domestic violence wives go in to a condition called "battered women syndrome"
Where they will be unable to express themselves other than crying .
Nandini should be in that stage in the series so she need courage a lot of it and some one whom she can depends to help her .
Now she had Mauli she will be able to help her
Abusive husbands cuts all ties of patner (relatives , friends etc)
It will take time ...
Even it is a story it is terrible , just imagine people live in it
Verbal abuse is also is a torture

Thanks a lot for posting this. Personally for me Nandini is exhausting, day in & day out of crying. I am hoping that after the miscarriage plot the CVs ll show Nandini walking out of her marriage. If she still says Pati paramesher, patni dharam, pati ka samman & such stuff I am done with this show. That prostitute scene & the way she was giving her bangle to the prostitute was disgusting. If the makers thought this scene will make the audience sympathize with Nandini, they failed. It was so repulsive, revolting & yucky that I simply switched off the TV & gave tat entire episode a miss. I will wait till the miscarriage episode & then decide whether to quit the show or continue. At this point I am ready to take even an affair over this OTT prostitute/physical abuse crap that they are showing...
