Episode 71 Rewind and Review Discussion Starts here!

Today's episode has shown the different relationships between the main protaginists.

To start with Anokhi and Aastha, we observe Aastha trait which Anokhi has always admired. Her Prof and her sensible nature. Today Aastha needed to make Anokhi understand she needs to concentrate in her studies, to stop comparing Shaurya to her and to also try and understand Shaurya. The relationship between Anokhi and her is not the same as Shaurya and her. She is grateful that despite her failure as a other her son has spoken to her and that is enough for her.

Anokhi despite her protests will need to keep this in mind.

Where Shaastha is concerned where Shaan is worried that everyone at home may know that aastha is staying at his flat, Aastha has guessed Shaan is hiding something serious from her. Such is their love...

Also Shaurya again shows his concern to his father who by hiding the state of affairs is not being true to himself and fair to aastha. Shaurya asks himself and his father whether the decision of divorce was his. Shaurya knows his father enough to doubt it is his decision. Now Devi is such an evil person, finding pleasure in forcing someone to divorce his love? Incomprehensible attitude to me, how selfish...

Coming to Ahir, noticing that Anokhi is not that much interested in him he is intellif=gent enough to bring up Babli's case and immediately gets Anokhi's attention and manges to convince her to drive to SIAC with him.

Shaurya and his extreme jealousy seeing Anokhi with ahir is a sight to see......😆

In the lecture all comments about how the next teacher should not be bothered as he had been bothered were directed towards Anokhi.

Anokhi also felt something when Shaurya annouced his resignation as lecturer.

Top dialogues of today:

Kyu prasad bathnaa hein?

Tum bachpan mein jhule se gira kya?

Shaurya makes Anokhi understand she has no right in judging him and whenever they have met it was simply out of necessity and she does not know him enough to judge him. But Anokh believes that it was enough for her to know he has only two types of feelings: anger and hatred and if ever there were any other feelings he is very good at hiding it.

Shaurya's reaction was instant and asked: How will it change anything if I show my true feelings, you think you know me..

Then remembering Ahir, he asks her to go and hang with Air, without explicitly mentioning the cop. Now Anokhi is completely dumb as she has no idea where this is coming from.

Shaurya's anger started since Ahir patted Anokhi's hand in the police station, his anger was simmering when Anokhi chose to go with Ahir in his jeep , then it got worse when Anokhi believes Ahir saved her and is going about telling everyone about it, and on top of that she has started coming to SIAC in Ahir's jeep. No wonder the lid will blow off soon..

Aastha/Anokhi, Shaurya/Shaan, and Anokhi/Shaurya all got to have heart to hearts.

Aastha inspires both frustration and sympathy in me. I feel sympathy for her being caught between the two generations where she's responsible for older parents and a younger child. She was in no man's land 25 years ago, having to make a tough choice. But now when her child is older, it's so frustrating to watch her retreat. I feel sympathy for the mother who yearned to hear her child speak to her, but frustrated at the mother who won't put up a fight for her child. Why can't she move closer to Chandigarh with her parents? I'm glad Aastha is aware that she's the selfish one in all this. Even when Anokhi denies it, Aastha knows that the unselfish teacher is not the same as the selfish mother. She's been both. Aastha calling Anokhi Shaurya's student is funny because ShaKhi has moved past the professor/student relationship from the get go.

Shaan is in denial and so defensive when it comes to his own decisions. Seeing Shaurya continue to be the caring son towards Shaan is heartbreaking for me. He continues to hold onto the one parent that he has, displaying care that continues to go unnoticed. I felt sad for Shaurya when he asked Shaan if he was moving to the flat with Aastha. It was like he was asking is his father was going to leave him behind too. Shaurya's been brainwashed into thinking that the way the Sabherwals operate is normal. But he's also suspicious enough of his family to question if the divorce is coerced.

Shaurya resigns as professor to lead SIAC Patiala! And Anokhi thinks she's the reason? We got some really good dialogues in this confrontation.

"Kyun? Prasaad baatna hai?" "Bachpan mein jhoole se giri thi kya?" I love Shaurya's one liners!!

"Tum itni important kabse hogayi Ms Bhalla" That seems like a question Shaurya should be asking himself.

"Shaurya Sabherwal ki zindagi me koyi itna bhi important nahi hai, ki uski wajah se, uski faisle badal jaye" Let's be real....Anokhi Bhalla is about to become Shaurya Sabherwal's zindagi!

"Thoda bohut to jaan gayi hoon sir" "Sirf upar upar se Anokhi" She thinks she knows him. He knows that she doesn't but he probably wants her to.

"Aap to expert hi haina usse chupaane me" "Agar dikha bhi do to kya farak padega" I love this line. He clearly wants someone to care. He wants someone to look behind the mask.

Side notes:

~ ACP thinks he's Anokhi's friend after one night hanging out with her? Even Anokhi had a weird look on her face.

~ Shaurya witnessing Ahir/Anokhi together then running the red light then getting the ticket just compounded all his frustrations. But why did he make a comment in the classroom about the class annoying the next teacher and then look at Anokhi? His insinuation was unprofessional.

~ Why was everyone blaming Anokhi for Shaurya leaving?

~ When Anokhi is retelling the riots, she totally omits Shaurya and glorifies Ahir. What is this selective amnesia? One bad word from Shaurya erased all his previous actions??

We share the same brain. I had the exact same thought!

Anokhi despite her protests will need to keep this in mind.

I don't know if Anokhi does it deliberately, but Shaurya has compared himself to the great Aastha ma'am and now Aastha is even acknowledging that there's no need for comparison.

Where Shaastha is concerned where Shaan is worried that everyone at home may know that aastha is staying at his flat, Aastha has guessed Shaan is hiding something serious from her. Such is their love...

I don't know why Shaan is worried about the family finding out. I don't understand why Shaan is so spineless and won't stand by his decision. He needs to grow up! Shaan is right in asking who's the son and who's the father because he clearly doesn't act like one.

Coming to Ahir, noticing that Anokhi is not that much interested in him he is intellif=gent enough to bring up Babli's case and immediately gets Anokhi's attention and manges to convince her to drive to SIAC with him.

Shaurya's in total denial. Anokhi doesn't matter and also she matters too much. She's unimportant but also she can't give anyone else importance.

shaurya...everyone one he loved is taken away or has not love him. He likes to keep whatever love he has close and hence is always family oriented. He wants Anokhi to want him. Because he has come to love her and Shaurya knows, what he loves, he loses.

Shaurya is the type to do everything for the one he loves.. but does those who are supposed to love him reciprocate that love. i feel that even Anokhi has other priorities, Shaurya is not the centre of her universe. For Shaurya, Anokhi is the centre...

I liked the fact that Aastha tried to make Anokhi understand that she has to stop getting between her and Shaurya and concentrate on studies and him as a professor. Maybe she saw that Shaurya was at his breaking point but it was good advise. What i did not love that she told Anokhi she is okay with his bitter words as long as he is talking to her because she has yearned for him. I understand a mother's plight but it also felt that she did not tell her the whole story. Which again leaves Shaurya's image as it is. You do tend to feel bad about the mother who was forced to choose and yet, she refuses to make amends. But what I absolutely loved that she said that maybe 'Aastha ma'am' is not selfish but 'Shaurya's mother' is. She differentiate the two which I am hoping gave anokhi some clarity.

The Shaurya - Shaan scene, it was so beautiful that just with dialogues it felt like father son role reversal. The small hurt child in him wants to know that will his father leave him now that his mother is back because he has never cared much. He also shows maturity when he asks his father for clarity because he know that this will hurt his mother. Him staring at the papers in the end makes me feel that he is as Scared of them as Shaan.

What is clear is that Shaurya knows that say whatever, Shastha love each other. He did say bonds dont break easily and also felt that maybe his father was coerced. What struck me was his defense of Tejvi's rules as he feels its keeping the family together. He needs this family together for his sanity. They are all he has in name of love. Is this why he believes in Tejvi?

Anokhi and Ahir...friends? nuh huh..weird. Shaurya's insane jealousy...too funny! Entitlement of paying challane...evident :P

When he resigns , Anokhi is shocked...and he throws a jab about not troubling the next teacher. (Their classroom sessions are like a love story :P)

The Shakhi conversation is one of the best! His one liners are insane, he is at his sarcastic best as he can get her out of his head and she wont leave him alone , in addition to that he cant stop feeling jealous. When he asks when did she become so important, feels like foreshadowing and then goes ahead to tell her that no one is important enough to change his decisions...Soon one day this will all change.

This scene sounds like a cry for help. She assumes she knows him and he knows she does not. He wants her to know him. He wants her to realize she is judging him. That he has shown only a side of his to her. He wants all her smiles and her thankyous! He wants her to know he is not the bad guy...and why does he want that is something even he cannot understand.

Exactly!

Shaurya is not the center of her universe, nor will I say he should be. But i always wanted to see that growth in Anokhi where she understood what striking a balance in relationship means because the thought was women can do both.

Also, i still firmly believe that Anokhi can walk away from their relationship and still build herself, Shaurya not so much. It would destroy his core essence.

Anokhi has grown a thick skin, Shaurya is way too emotional and sensitive, so yes I also believe the same.

Words of wisdom from Astha… usey tumhare Astha mam se problem nahin use apni ma se Problem hain

And don’t remember the exact words but… don’t talk about me in front of Shaurya and one more thing… Shaurya wouldn’t have a problem with you. All these are so true. I think the little hope that Astha got with his hospital visit died down with his outburst on birthday and clarity about his relationship that he gave today. And keeping aside how bad a mother she was, I felt she was genuine today and just wanted to keep some of his memories with her even if they were bitter. ‘ phir mauka mile na mile’… she knows that there is almost no chance now.

Aap abhi thak kahan the? Shaurya always had concern for his dad but it didn’t go further than this owing to the fact that Shaan only cared about Astha. Shaurya was sure that Astha didn’t know about the divorce and so he thought that Shaan’s misleading actions might raise her hopes and do wanted him to be clear regarding the divorce. But why is everyone after Shaan’s divorce. Don’t they have the basic sense that they’ve been living separately for 25 years( which is no less than a divorce)and still Shaan craves for her? They are two adults who don’t need anyone’s consent if they wish to talk to each other and how would divorce help Sabherwal’s in any way? Doesn’t Shaurya realise this? Or is it the stubborn child in him who wants his dad to prove himself that he can do something for his child?

Shaurya losing his aapah seeing Anokhi with Acp .. my sadistic heart enjoys it to the core😀. Oh my god.. what happened to the professor in him? He usually keeps saying tumhara dimaag kharab ho gaya? Now it applies to him..🤣🤣. Jumping off traffic lights?? Jealousy koot koot ke bhar gaya hain. If this wasn’t enough, Hearing Anokhi give credit to Acp was the final nail in the coffin.

Why Anokhi why? Why are you so concerned that he is leaving? Can’t you leave him in peace? Ss’s famous dialogues… Prasad bantna hain? Aur tum Bachpan mein jhule se gir gayi kya? The second one is savage as she truly deserves that..😀.

Coming to the conversation it made complete sense. She posed all the right questions and he was right in saying that he isn’t answerable to her. Ss thinks she doesn’t know about him but that is where she is different from others. She knows that all his emotions are masked under hatred and anger. He is right now in a state of confusion where he is jealous of Acp( both for taking credit and Acp Anokhi’s comfort with each other) but also not able to figure out the actual reason. Anokhi is obviously puzzled with his indirect references to Acp. Does she realise that the intelligent person he is referring to is Acp?
