That's one point I also noticed, as well as her asking them how she did immediately after she had finished the interview. Who does that in real life?

Anokhi was the first to tell him that other than the anger she can also see the sadness in his eyes. Initially Shaurya was the person whom she admired and remember Anokhi always had Aastha as her role model, and I believe Shaurya is the male version of Aastha and finally, comeon yaar, he is also a very handsome hunk of a male specimen in addition to being intelligent and caring of others...😉

Yes! Shaurya and Aastha are similar. Just that Shaurya has lesser control over his emotions.

I wish they had shown more monologue on her end. Shown how she maybe through about him.

The real Shaurya, the funny, petty and immature guy, only came out infront of Anokhi. She handled him the way he wanted to be handled since he was a kid Because they was he is indebt to TejVi, I don't think he ever acted like a ziddi baccha, demanding things or fought in petty manner with them 💔

Shastha got pushed to the back once ShaKhi started. It would have been good to get a real confrontation. The way Shaurya told Anokhi about his suppressed feelings and how he felt abandoned. I wished Aastha and Shaan had been confronted with some of the truths. They both seem to justify their actions with how they've suffered. They might have tried to understand Shaurya and not blame him for the brainwashing done by Devi, but they never got the full dose of how their own actions destroyed their son. I would like to cry buckets over that. KV would kill that scene. I would cry. It would all be so cathartic!

So true. He never got to be a child to Tejvi. He probably was trying to make them not regret taking him in....be the perfect child! That's probably why they were taken back when he was so ziddi about Anokhi. He had tunnel vision when it came to her!

Shaurya is a smart man. I think he himself did not come cross someone as brilliant as her and hence was overconfident that she would fail. We have to understand, Shaurya knew what a password is called in hindi, he is well read himself but his ego, DEAR GOD!!! Sometimes this makes me wonder, did Anokhi also admire him for this? For he was most probably the most well read male she had ever come across who actually belived in importance of education. Did that thought make a place in her head?

So I think she did admire him. Remember when he told her on the bridge that he was a saddu and she knew it. She mentioned that people had high opinions of him everywhere in his profession. I think she admired him initially as a professor and as an accomplished person. And unlike other SIAC students, she got to see the human being behind the professorial persona; and that's who she fell for! She called him 'respectable' remember!

Another thing, while she was confident, I think she crossed a big line with the debate comment. You dont take such liberties in a "professional" environment. I have always felt that this about her during this time. (aka interview episodes)

I guess I don't read too much into these small scenes......first, because drama is ITV and also Anokhi has a tendency to demand respect, not beg for it. She knows her capabilities and knows not to take others opinions to heart. It's probably how she survived after having a father that tried to break her innumerable times.

Alok is the mischef maker but the problem is his execution and his luck, both are awful. What i fail to understand is that, i can clearly see shaan can fight when he wants to, so why put his son through so much pain. No wonder Shaurya hates anokhi. While I agree, that tej is all about SIAC, but that comment from that teacher about Shaurya's personal vendatta , i feel had some weightage. What is tomorrow Anokhi told the world, why exactly shaurya hates her? Tej is more about reputation than anything else and also has a lot of forethought. I dont think he expected anokhi to impact shaurya because he was raised a "saberwaal"

Totally agree. Tej is all about keeping up the reputation! They all underestimated Anokhi as an individual and the effect she could have.

Shaan blessed Anokhi as a father, it was so evident. I dont think he has ever blessed Shaurya. His eyes teared up ( KV is execptional in emotional scenes in SAAKK). You are right Shaan does not "know" shaurya, and that is why he thinks his son is an egoist who is not capable of love. The worst part, Shaurya tries to love shaan, he took care of Shaan as a father. He never got an apology either from Shaan or aastha! ( Salty about that too!)

We all are a salty bunch!! I'm highly annoyed that Shaan never owned up to his mistakes. At least Aastha got a confrontation and gave a weak apology and admitted to things. Shaan just wanted people to understand his circumstances but never gave an explanation or an apology. He was a brat!

This boy, this boy is Devi's shaurya. He wants what he wants. He tries to force his brain to think this girl was sent to torment him by his mother but deep down he is just jelous that his parents stand for her. But how can Devi's shaurya show emotions? How can he show care and comcern for his negligent parents?

Did you notice that Devi was hearing him but not listening to him! She tries to instigate him without understanding that his boy just wanted his father's attention. If she were smart, she would have noticed this and spoken to shaan. As i said earlier, Shaan needed to apologise for the neglect but never did. Call it instinct, but Devi noticed it first, Shaurya was affected by a nobody. While she feared that this would lead to aastha coming back, if shaurya started getting affected by Anokhi so much, i guess it took her some time to realisw where it was actually going and the rest we know.

YES!! The tunnel vision is all Devi. He was taught to be a "Sabherwal" by that woman. She was also overconfident in her brainwashing skills. She thought she eliminated Shaurya's love for his mom. She thought she made him the son she wanted. Unfortunately or fortunately, those Kashyap genes were strong. You're right that Devi had good instincts to catch the change in her son.....but she blamed Aastha for too long....by then Anokhi had made a place for herself in Shaurya's heart!

When I think of these things, I feel anger for Shaan. I feel so mad when he says "Tum mere bete ho" or whatever.

I remember when he went to see Aastha in ICU, just him wiping a tear, his expression and the background song chunar had me crying my eyes out..

I'm still stuck at the scene where he was sitting on the roadside and getting all emotional on watching the other mother-son pair.... I can never forget how I felt while watching the scene...

I think there should have been an open confrontation with Shaan like he had one with Aastha. It was necessary.

I am still in awe about his blunt stand for their relationship. For years, he stayed under TejVi's ehsaan and never went against them. But one act of their's against Anokhi and he broke away from all the shackles of their so-called greatness..

Heart broken.. is how I feel.

I have not seen the episode yet as I started late when SAAKK was on TV, but saw it somewhere in a post and having started watching all episodes my heart felt all heavy when I think what he must be feeling when he sees this...😭😭

This scene is where I became an full on Shaurya fangirl!! I have talked about the magnificence of this scene so many times. The lost look in his eyes, the yearning as he looked at the mother and child, and the tear that falls just watching their happiness. And to have Dua playing! Full heartbreak! 🥺
