I love reading everyone’s perspectives as well. Coz it gives me a new direction to look at. Even when I am disappointed with something in the episode, hearing other’s perspectives and opinions brings more clarity to me.

And but of course. Even KV was saying that in the interview that day. Anokhi is the hero of the show. She sets the bar high every single day!!

I'm hyping myself up for today's episode. I'm really looking forward to Vineet getting his just deserts at the hands of Shaurya(and Ahir). Then some ShauHir moments. And then ShaKhi. Anokhi already looks in awe of Shaurya.....and the pride in her eyes is lovely but concerning. And Babli will hopefully see Shauryaji in a new light!!

Yes he is. He is a lost lonely hurt n vulnerable child in the body of a man. A child who still hurts over having to live like an orphan/adopted child despite having parents. His vulnerability and weak side comes only out in front of Anokhi. I don’t think he has ever said to anyone in his life, that he needs them. Nor do I ever think he thought himself vulnerable enough to need anyone. He said it only to her, coz she is the only one who has loved him so selflessly, unconditionally, beyond all reasons n setbacks.

Like you said, BM n BP always expected him to prove his loyalty to them for loving him, caring for him or for sacrificing their life in taking care of him. (My blood boils when I type this, bunch of sadists)

He has never known true love until now. True happiness until now. Like he said in the birthday episode, life mein pehli bar life mein itna Khush Tha. Or after the accident episode, Maine itna kuch socha Tha, plan kiya tha. Maybe I don’t deserve it. My heart broke for him then.

He has never had anyone love him for his heart till Anokhi. So, How will he not want to keep that love with him forever. But also doesn’t justify his act. Nothing can. He has to learn to control his impulsive nature.

So me too. I can’t hate him. Coz at the core he is just yearning for love. But, I can be mighty pissed and mad at him for doing blunder after blunder.

If this is going in the true ITV dramatic style........everything is going to come to a head at a public engagement party for Shaurya and Shagun where somehow Anokhi will be present. Shaurya will not be able to break Anokhi's heart in public again and will stand up for their relationship. Don't ask me what happens next.......this is the cliffhanger for a Saturday episode!

Shaurya is well loved by Anokhi for sure ...he just does not realize it yet because Anokhi is not very explicit about it.

I don't think he takes Anokhi's love for granted yet. He is putting everything at stake and putting up a fight (again Anokhi has no idea how much fight he is putting up and the toll it is taking on him). There is literally no ego. I also find it interesting that though he has a temper but he is never able to stay angry or hurt Anokhi. When she refused to accept the marriage ...you see him hold her by her hairs for a second completely mad saying "Kaise nahin manti tum" and next second he releases her and says in the gentlest teary voice "hum dono ne shaadi ki hai. we are husband and wife. aur tumhe manna padega. I don't know shayad dheere dheere hi sahi. Then he cries a little more as if he gives up almost begging and helpless and says " Okay jo bhi tumhe lagha hain na hona chahiya, main koshish karunga". There is not an ounce of swag or ego or self in the entire sequence. He is surrendering completely to her will if only she will give him a chance.

If he had let her go after confession, it would have been a practical solution but they both would have both lived rest of their lives in regret and pinned for each other. I just hate the feeling that he is the only one that is fighting for their love with no one supporting him including Anokhi.

The sad part is they are in this impossible situation because of no fault of theirs but their families .

I am trusting the car and the bridge - I am hoping that the show surprises us and Shaurya gets to talk to Anokhi about engagement and things never get to public announcement. The issue between them is real and big enough that CVs do not need to stir the pot and add more MUs on top of it. If I had my way, I would want Babli to succeed as an event manager before she re-marries. It sends a much stronger social message. I would rather focus on Shaurya-Astha equation and whatever track they had thought with Bemol.

No, we totally get it, cause we are privy to his side of the story. But for someone who isn’t , Shaurya’s love might seem desperate and obsessive. 😀

@bold: That would be awesome! The idea that a woman’s identity is tied to a man needs to be washed down the drain. Babli needs all the love and encouragement. She has totally lost her sense of identity. I’d love to see how she fights for herself and builds her confidence and self respect. ❤️

You are not harsh...it is a matter of perspective. Shaurya is a single-minded dreamer and an idealist. He has been alone emotionally all his life and has deep wounds but he did not have to fight for much in his life. Since he yearns for unconditional love and completeness that is his focus to an almost obsessive level. Anokhi is a responsible pragmatic individual who has had to fight for basic human identity, she has emotional wounds too but they are significantly different from Shaurya. She knew she was loved by her sister and mother unconditionally. What she has yearned for is freedom to make a choice, to live her life and so she chooses it above everything else. My perspective while either are not wrong they need to find a middle ground - The couple needs Shaurya's optimism and Anokhi's practicality to live happy and complete life with their kind of families.

I will make a small comment about the regressive soch of Sab family- Viewers know it and Anokhi knows it but does Shaurya know it? That soch is norm to him. Does he know Gayatri and Kanchan are unhappy? Does he know that Shaan is just as much to blame for failure of Shastha relationship as Astha? Does he know that Astha had a valid reason to walk away? Does he know any truths related to his family? Should he walk away from a woman that he believes loves him and took care of him for 25 years brutally or should he wait until she has recovered and then break the news that he chooses his love? On the other hand, why should he give away the only chance at happiness, he ever had because he is saddled with a family not willing to understand him. He is in a tough spot. He is trying to balance all his relationships as he knows them. He will be more decisive if and when he finds out the truth of Sab family.
