I don't justify Shaurya's actions, whatever he did in library or with ACP in restaurant, even while offering to take Anokhi to hostel. But he got judged for every dialogue he makes, gestures he do right from the beginning. I mean that's how his character is supposed to. They see his golden side for a while n when they encounter any change from that, they bash him. I won't say he gets forgiven too quickly. Anokhi stood her ground for character assassination thing but forgave him eventually but I was sore about that for days. Only because he realized it, it makes him real and I overcome that eventually. He behaved in a civil manner with Shagun n apologized because he's trying to be a better person. He have his anger issues, that authority with which he grew up, it won't fade over night. The way Anokhi behaved with Shaurya after she comes to know that he's Astha's son is wrong too.

As for ACP mocking, at beginning I enjoyed it but soon it turned into some battle where they go on taking a dig at each other. Remember the way they behaved in front of Anokhi on the night before Holi? That's not a director of college and ACP supposed to react. And Ahir didn't even clear MU that Shaurya saved Anokhi, not him. And then as days go on fandom started shipping Shauhir in such a way that they simply don't care. Apart from memes, It wasn't funny. ACP was sensible with words but he was wrong in some scenes too. Shaurya was portrayed such because his character was written in such a way n he's in a journey to overcome it so his dialogues are such. Shaurya isn't perfect n so is ACP. Ahir gets away with everything he does, including his abuse of power. Ahir gives creepy vibes to me n he coming between two people who clearly likes each other, when he clearly got a closure, now that's wrong. He also gets creepy dialogues like Humsafar wala, saying he wore Anokhi's fav color etc. I'm just saying both have their errors.

Shaurya may have helped Anokhi a number of times but he is a rich brat and there is a huge difference in their socioeconomic status. It is not just about what we see in movies or story books. People actually think twice before making a relation with someone who is much above or below in status. This comes with a lot of practical concerns. Though she doesn't know what exactly happened with Aastha (even Anokhi doesn't) but still she has an idea how rich people look down upon the less privileged. And Babli doesn't know the intensity of Shaurya and Anokhi's love for each other. When she does, she might come round. As for why she is pushing Ahir. Ahir is a self made man. He was not born with a silver spoon in mouth (even if he did, he doesn't live under its shadow. He cleared one of the toughest exams in the country to be where he is today). And he is always well behaved and helpful. She finds in him a good match for Anokhi.

@bold: It is more to do with writing I think. In OG also fans always support the ML, who is even more bullheaded than Shaurya ( except he doesn't manhandle the FL). And because he is the fandom's favourite they make him more symapthetic. They turned Shaan into a total loser so we feel for Shaurya. They made Aastha give unconvincing reasons and never try to meet him in 25 years so that we understand how he was wronged. Then they made Anokhi spout nonsense like revenge plot etc so that Shaurya becomes the victim. Now Babli calls him cunning and all so we hate her as well.

I agree with your point that Babli is acting kike a concerned parent but it should work in both ways, no? Ahir gave her a lift and she encourages him to make a try on Anokhi? She hasn't seen the bond between Shaurya and Anokhi. She might change her view after she gets convinced that Shaurya really loves Anokhi. But she encouraging Ahir to make a move on Anokhi is wrong when Anokhi clearly told her how she feels about Shaurya.

I liked the topic and glad to see different views. So thought to share my views regarding babli's behaviour. As an elder sis she is concerned about her younger sis. Like in holi she points some real and important points like status, astha her studies. Even in today's episode her sister went to goa without having a talk with her, all the worries concern and leaving for goa in search of her sis is valid from my pov. Even taking help from ahir is also fine. As per precap her shouting is also valid any person in her place like rama, astha, shaan, devi, tej etc will do the same.

But her try to plant Ahir in anokhi's life is not okay as per my pov. She is doing the same thing which her father did to her but in different manner. Even saying ss is chalak, I feel like she is behaving like devi sabrawal. It's your sis decision to follow him talk to him why he is at fault or chalak. Scolding is fine but badmouthing makes her similar to evil sabrawals. Like for them every bad thing happening to their family because of anokhi same like that. But I like reema's dialogue babli di koi jyotish nahi hai 😂

1. Anokhi’s former professor
2. SIAC director
3. Belongs to a rich and elite family that troubled Anokhi a lot - also insulted her (same holds true for her in laws and her own father and grandmother as well)

Only the flip side, she has seen Shaurya support Anokhi at college during the ragging sequence initially and he also supported Babli against a drunk and violent Vineet.

But to see your sister in what could come across as a compromising situation with her former professor. At a hotel in Goa. I can’t blame babli for her reaction.

Babli doesn’t feel like she deserves anything in life and has learned to go with the flow. She is not as optimistic as Anokhi is and neither has the same outward bravery that Anokhi has displayed. She’s just concerned for her little sister and isn’t negative in trying to keep them apart. Her reaction is very real and normal. She will come around eventually and Anokhi will help her realize.

But also Shaurya also needs to tone down his anger and start bringing his best foot forward. Personality is one thing but aggressive and anger behavior is another.

Agree with all your points and the last line @bold.. is what i agree the most.

To be honest, I didn't watch the show so religiously during the riots sequence... But I did go back and watched it today... Since I did want to understand Ahir and Shaurya's equation there... Before commenting here..

Man... Those episodes were super intense... And after watching them... You do feel so bad for Shaurya and agree that bass... Anokhi that man is perfect for you... You should be with him.. Aur mat tadapao! They had made his scene of character assissnation cringworthy... To ensure we feel... Anokhi deserves better😆 and they balanced it out with sorry sequence... Sorry sequence was more like... I am sorry for what I did...but I did that because you did not recognize my efforts during riots... So there Anokhi would be off to guilt trip and into Grateful to Shaurya mode...

One thing I do realize is that riot sequence had most impact on Anokhi's perception about people.. While she thought it was Ahir... She literally was his fan.. The moment she realized Shaurya was the real hero... She starts running after him 😂

But here is the thing... When he did pick up Anokhi in fire... He shouted for help... Ahir was there to offer his car so that Anokhi can reach faster to hospital... So him taking thank you didn't seem too much out of place to me... He even told Astha same thing that I reached on time... The issue would have been if he knew Anokhi didn't see Shaurya and didn't clarify that... He didn't know how angry Anokhi was with Shaurya for leaving her... So, okay.. His delusion of being there for Anokhi is acceptable...

Now, creepiness if we keep one of them being lead aside... Shaurya has been no less and been excused and saved too... Creeping into girl's hostel room, pulling her around to give her flower, and quite a few things that has been excused under romantic and creative freedom... But could be quite unethical if Ahir did any of it... Again Anokhi's consent aside... She never seemed to have resiliate Ahir's advances.. She was Okay with it plus Ahir never went overboard like Shagun does... Anokhi infact seems to enjoy his company which puts Shaurya off... Like she was fine in restaurant till Shaurya showed up demeaning ACP. Shaurya has this control freaking behavior that he cannot see Anokhi happy with anyone else... Which might be resolved during this stupid track with Shagun... Let's see..

One annoying thing about Ahir - He just instigates Shaurya to an extent that he acts maniac! He doesn't need to do so much to piss him off... Just let them be...

I'm really happy by the way Babli stood up for her baby sis tdy. N yes she wnt be afraid to even bajao Shaurya Saberwal's band if needed. 😆

Some people are there who dn't stand up for their own rights. That's wt is happening in the case of that idiot Vineet. Bt when time comes to save their loved ones. They become shernis. Babli hd earlier helped Anokhi to elope too n she will be again there for her. 👍 #sistergoals
