I don’t blame Babli

From her perspective, Shaurya is

1. Anokhi’s former professor
2. SIAC director
3. Belongs to a rich and elite family that troubled Anokhi a lot - also insulted her (same holds true for her in laws and her own father and grandmother as well)
4. Himself troubled Anokhi in the past with admissions and also recently with the character attacks that made her leave SIAC
5. Is also much older than Anokhi - at least 9 or 10 years - and more experienced in relationships

Only the flip side, she has seen Shaurya support Anokhi at college during the ragging sequence initially and he also supported Babli against a drunk and violent Vineet.

But to see your sister in what could come across as a compromising situation with her former professor. At a hotel in Goa. I can’t blame babli for her reaction.

Babli doesn’t feel like she deserves anything in life and has learned to go with the flow. She is not as optimistic as Anokhi is and neither has the same outward bravery that Anokhi has displayed. She’s just concerned for her little sister and isn’t negative in trying to keep them apart. Her reaction is very real and normal. She will come around eventually and Anokhi will help her realize.

But also Shaurya also needs to tone down his anger and start bringing his best foot forward. Personality is one thing but aggressive and anger behavior is another.

Going by your point, I agree that Babli di is concerned but don't you think she's acting out of her character? She encouraged Ahir to make a try on Anokhi before and she's still holding on to that. Its like she's pushing Ahir towards Anokhi. Now her little sister isn't little anymore? A person who never stood up for herself, hasn't shown any bravery has shown bravery today and went behind her sister, fine. But what Anokhi wants, doesn't that count? The way she yelled in the precap even startled me.

Shaurya has helped her in past yet she has such a distaste towards him? Even after he saved Anokhi from kidnappers? Even after he saved her from riots? Even after he stopped her from getting rusticated? Even after he went behind her and brought her back to college? Babli's judging Shaurya as if he's a bad guy.

@bold - I definitely don’t like her encouraging Ahir so Anokhi doesn’t think about Shaurya. I don’t like it at all. If she wants to encourage Anokhi to focus on her education that’s fine but finding another guy instead isn’t good. So I agree with you.

I wish instead of bringing in the Ahir angle, they would have just focused Bablis concern on her little sister dating for the first time and that too with Someone seems out of reach for her and with a sisterly affection and concern. The Aahir angle is definitely not needed.

I would say that Babli di is one of the root cause for Anokhi's insecurity. She has filled her mind in such thoughts that Anokhi started to compare herself with Shagun like kahan Shagun mam, kahan mein. Why would Shaurya love a girl of her standard and all that. She started feeling inferior.

Anokhi isn't a little girl anymore. Babli di should have talked about how relationship works n all that, not how the world works. Agreed she's scarred from her relationship but even after watching Shaurya's care for Anokhi, she has such hatred towards Shaurya and encouraging Ahir when Anokhi clearly showed no interest in Ahir? Pyaar unhe karna hai. Na ki kaise bahu chahiyeh Sabherwals ko aur kaise ladka milna chahiyeh apni behan ko. They can guide but never push someone else in between a couple like Badi maa brought in Shagun n Babli encouraging Ahir. That's where I blame Babli di. Otherwise her concern towards her sister is justified. But I don't like her bringing in her Papaji's name even after he did what he did. He literally disowned Anokhi. He's glad as long as Raja won't be arrested.

But I have no issues with her concern for Anokhi.. But even my problem is that we don't need Ahir in middle of this! C'mon... Anokhi already has to deal with Shaurya and his tantrums... Ab Ahir ko bhi lana.. Is unrequited... Infact, I am pissed with Ahir too..

He knows she doesn't like him but likes Shaurya... He was clear when he said.. She said it all...

Now... Babli being worried about the implications of ShaKhi.. Is understandable! She had hell to deal with... Just having Shaurya by her side won't always be helpful... Infact... How much of Shaurya does Anokhi to be confident and in love with him? She still doesn't know that Shaurya wants home maker... And not the one with flying ambitions! She doesn't know the very reason ShaSha broke up was because Shaurya didn't want to "allow" her to pursue her PhD... It's highly stupid of Anokhi to confess! Bass... Purely my feeling... And she badly needs another ShaSha jhatka abhi... To bring her back on ground..

In my view, I don't think Shaurya would restrict Anokhi. He apologized to Shagun for the way he behaved before and he has always encouraged Anokhi to study. In fact if you go by Mohor too that doesn't happen but SAAKK are changing sequence so it might happen. But yes, Anokhi would have a jatka when she learns the reason for ShaSha's breakup.

Let us assume for a minute that Shaurya is an unethical spoilt rich predator, what does he exactly get out Anokhi realistically that he cannot get from other students. Why does he have to put so much effort in Anokhi, Anokhi is no Miss Universe. Both sisters seem to be assuming that he wants something from Anokhi...dono ka dimaag ekta maiyya ke serial dekh ke kharab ho gaya hai. By the way why blame Shaurya, Anokhi followed him not vice versa. I somehow was amused at ironical role reversal. Normally ML chases FL and ML's family constantly blames FL for it. Here ML was getting blamed for driving FL so insane that she was chasing him. :-)

Whatever is Babli Di's motive, she is justified in what she is doing. Babli is Anokhi's elder sister and has put so much at stake to make sure Anokhi is in a good position. She is concerned and has full right to yell at them. After all, she does not know Shaurya like the way Anokhi and Reema know. She is concerned about her 'unmarried' sister. She insists that in the episode. I think every sister will be worried, especially the ones who cared for the younger ones with a motherly feeling. Babli is sweet, caring, and has a golden heart. She should be appreciated and loved in the forum :). Let Shaurya make amends :). It would be fun to watch. 😛

For the first time FL in ITV has taken such a big step for ML to clear MU between them. Babli di's being very unfair here. She's siding with Ahir as if Anokhi likes Ahir and not Shaurya n Shaurya's just confusing Anokhi in choosing Ahir! She has conveniently forgot all those instance where Shaurya helped her and Anokhi. Chalak Insaan? Seriously? She needs a reality check and I hope she gets that in Goa.

As for Anokhi, I would say that Anokhi's yesterday's dialouges were result of poor writing. She threw accusations at Shaurya straight out of a Wattpad book. Like seriously she told him things yesterday like revenge n all ab chali gayi uske peeche. It was so rushed but yes I hope she goes there to clear MU between them before confessing her love to Shaurya which Babli di won't let happen!

She called Shaurya 'Chalak Insaan'? Babli di has not experienced his chalakis as much as I, as a viewer, have...

I do consider him as cunning one in this whole thing... Mostly because of initial promos of being masked person, and secondly because of his constant blamming on Anokhi... And constantly putting her on the guilt trips!

He literally called her loose character... He said sorry to her... But his apologies were more like.. If I said something so big and serious... You should also take a blame for not appreciating my efforts to save you... I saved you... And said something like Loose character, told you to use your wild cards.. So, fine... I am sorry for saying that... But then you should also thank me for saving your life... More of its a deal...

Anokhi is usually affected by many people's words... In worse possible way... Shaurya being one of them.... Him landing in Anokhi's room and blaming her for not picking his calls... Anokhi did cry out and said sorry when he fell sick blaming herself for his haalat..

He blamed her yesterday.. In angry confession.. Everything is over between Shagun and me, because I fell in love with you! Anokhi's reaction to it was just blah.. So I could let it go... I would have said... So, tomorrow you would blame someone else when you fall out of love with me.

But Shaurya does come out to be little manipulative at times... I am not saying he is terrible and manipulative like Maya from Beyhadh.. But I do consider him to be somewhere rough in words... And habits..
