If he doesn't restrict her.. Or doesn't create a conflict.. 😆 show loses its main theme.. It has to be soch ki takkar and that's what I want to see... He has to be shown fighting his inner demons he has developed because of toxic family he stays with...

Mohor was more to do with women empowerment and not soch ki takkar... I want him to have little Grey shades like in promos... And I keep looking for it even when I read/watch episodes... Which obviously results in over analysis of character and scenes 🤣 but time hai... Tp karne do mahine..

For Babli who was handed over to a loser, abusive pig, ACP Ahir is a step up. She thinks just in terms of status he is a good match for Anokhi. She doesn’t think of love, she thinks of status and staying in a perceived limit. She couldn’t possibly believe that Shaurya loves her sister. She’s surprised at her sister’s behavior but that’s because she doesn’t know Anokhi also loves him. It should be interesting to see what happens once Babli finds out the truth. I honestly wish ACP Ahir realizes they love each other and backs off.

Now that's a point. Yes, she's just in second year. Let's see how the story progress and how Shaurya overcomes his demons and get away from that toxic Sabherwal mansion.

She is concerned and has full right to yell at them. After all, she does not know Shaurya like the way Anokhi and Reema know. She is concerned about her 'unmarried' sister. She insists that in the episode. I think every sister will be worried, especially the ones who cared for the younger ones with a motherly feeling. Babli is sweet, caring, and has a golden heart. She should be appreciated and loved in the forum :). Let Shaurya make amends :). It would be fun to watch. 😛

Totally agree. Babli wasn’t always supportive of her dreams bcuz she knew no better and Nikki showed her a different path. eventually Babli did come around and supported her education and helped her run away and risked everything in front of her parents and Vineet. She was brave. Then she supported Anokhi in Chandigarh - put a roof over her head, defended her against in laws and other people as well. She is soo proud of her Nikki. The two sisters don’t always share everything right away but they eventually do confide in each other and this is another perfect opportunity. I’m going to ignore the presence of a person whose name starts with A for now as well 😆

Also, I think this is a trend that any character who remotely says anything not positive about Shaurya immediately gets shoved into the negative category. If there is one character who wins in the empathy department, it is Shaurya. He is always a victim even when he’s not. Writers have done a good job with the character. I am not sure if it’s acting or writing but everyone tends to empathize with him

I agree with you on what Babli di did for Anokhi. She did whatever she could until Vineet locked her in and threw Anokhi on road and continued to be in contact with her sister even after Vineet restricted her from talking to Anokhi. The problem I have is that she's seeing things from one perspective which I hope she gets a clarity once she sees what Anokhi actually feels n stop encouraging Ahir.

As for Shaurya's point, whenever Shaurya messes up, I have seen people tearing his character down, analysing him, judging him, etc. There were lot of posts that put him down. One wrote psychological analysis just so people could understand Shaurya's character. So no I don't think he was the victim. Rather he received lot of dislike n may be hate? We haven't discussed any other character in this way. Its like he was most appreciated and most judged. It runs either ways.

ha ha so true.. Shaurya Sabarwal does a ramp walk and empathy and sympathy rains down on him. Well. Babli will also come around when she realizes their true feelings. But till then, she has the right to be concerned about Anokhi IMO. Balla sisters are BFF's and I have no doubt that Anokhi will convince her. But till then, we need Babli to keep Anokhi and Shaurya grounded.

Also to be honest, I love the character development of Ahir. Since the beginning, he is a sweet person. He always talks to everyone with respect and takes good care of everyone around him. See his conversation with colleagues, his convo with Aasta, his conversations with Anokhi, his conversation with Reema, and now with Babli. He listens to other people, understands their situation, even the minute details. He is a reasonable person with absolutely no malicious intent. After the prison episode, he never came between Anokhi and Shaurya. He will never come unless Anokhi herself detaches from Shaurya. He is a well-developed and evolving character.

I agree..Babli's concern is valid. For high class people, every middle class girl is a gold digger in ITV world, and every rich boy is a casanova, and I have heard these stereotype in real life too! It is natural that Babli will be concerned that Shaurya is just taking advantage of Nikki's innocence.

About Ahir, any one will like him as a prospective groom, as he is in a good post, has middle class values and is so well mannered. Again, for Babli, it makes sense that she would prefer Ahir over Shaurya.

About Ahir, I am still unsure! He has seen that Anokhi likes Shaurya, but somewhere he still has hopes that Shaurya will screw up. I guess that's the only reason why he went to Goa.

Despite everything, I liked the episode, especially Reema and Anokhi and Kanchan & Anokhi. Very sane, sensible conversations! Reema and Anokhi shot was also very beautiful aesthetically!

I hope Babli see the love which they both share..and Babli has seen first hand how Devi and family treated them during the ragging incidence when they went to SM to inquire. She knows that the family will never accept Anokhi, so yes discouraging her to commit to Shaurya makes complete sense from an elder sister perspective!

My comments entirely based on WU. Babli is acting like a concerned parent, though finding Ahir and asking him to take her to Goa makes no sense. Shaurya may have helped Anokhi a number of times but he is a rich brat and there is a huge difference in their socioeconomic status. It is not just about what we see in movies or story books. People actually think twice before making a relation with someone who is much above or below in status. This comes with a lot of practical concerns. Though she doesn't know what exactly happened with Aastha (even Anokhi doesn't) but still she has an idea how rich people look down upon the less privileged. And Babli doesn't know the intensity of Shaurya and Anokhi's love for each other. When she does, she might come round. As for why she is pushing Ahir. Ahir is a self made man. He was not born with a silver spoon in mouth (even if he did, he doesn't live under its shadow. He cleared one of the toughest exams in the country to be where he is today). And he is always well behaved and helpful. She finds in him a good match for Anokhi.

@bold: It is more to do with writing I think. In OG also fans always support the ML, who is even more bullheaded than Shaurya ( except he doesn't manhandle the FL). And because he is the fandom's favourite they make him more symapthetic. They turned Shaan into a total loser so we feel for Shaurya. They made Aastha give unconvincing reasons and never try to meet him in 25 years so that we understand how he was wronged. Then they made Anokhi spout nonsense like revenge plot etc so that Shaurya becomes the victim. Now Babli calls him cunning and all so we hate her as well.

Slightly different point of view here... People do bash him whenever he is seriously wrong like character assissnation in library and with ACP in restaurant... But that's like... He gets forgiven too quickly too... Without proper track.. It's like... He is lead he has to be right whenever he does his 'cute' gestures to get Anokhi's attention...

I do not find him mocking ACP amusing anymore.... He is clear that he won't pursue Anokhi Ji till he is sure to not hurt her... His tantrums are beyond the top... But fandom behaves exactly like Anokhi... Who found the whole mask antique awwdorable when he said... Tumhara ACP and all...

If Ahir's character is not perfect, Shaurya's is kind of way beyond messed up... But he gets sympathy for he is lead...

Her major concern has been Papaji's reaction to Anokhi's relationship with a man when she left home to study. From her words and experience, you can understand that Mr. Bhalla is a controlling parent who would want to choose who his kids marry. Especially his daughters.

So how does it make sense that Anokhi should not hang out with Shaurya, but with ACP who she barely knows?

Dur hi rakhna hi hai toh dono ko dur rakho na Anokhi se?

All I can see is a judgmental woman who cannot see beyond the flaws of Shaurya. She forgot everything and does not even give him a benefit of doubt despite Anokhi saying that he feels the same for her.

Babli lives in a black and white world where there are either good or bad. No space for grey. Shaurya was white when he helped Anokhi and her. But he lost his cool and spewed trash, he was instantly black.

Her concerns are not unwarranted. But she is acting like her father, she wants to control Anokhi's life as a means to protect her. She should understand that Anokhi and Shaurya are adult individuals who can deal with their own issues. More so because Anokhi has more perspective and courage.
