Second, the ACP did arrest him for hitting a policeman’s car. But mostly for the non-apology and Shaurya’s anger.
We know Shaurya knows how to say sorry and that the ACP isn’t this much of a jerk. So the purpose was to get that ShauHir confrontation! So it was really just CVs taking creative liberties and using the arrest as a plot device to get the story moving.
If Ahir was really unethical, he could’ve ignored Anokhi’s call to Shaurya and she would have been none the wiser. I’m going to enjoy Anokhi’s anger and Shaurya being a witness to that.....which I think is Ahir’s purpose. I still think Ahir is a positive character who has witnessed many exchanges with ShaKhi to know they’re into each other and are confused about confession. He’s going give them the nudge they need!
