Aahir's misuse of power - Is it justified? - Page 3

When has this ACP not misused his power? From stalking a complainant to now arresting Shaurya! ACP was not on duty but he was using his official vehicle. He arrested someone and retained in jail but didn't file a report and didn't allow access to a lawyer (surprising Shaurya didn't insist for both). He was rubbing off on Shaurya by provoking him with Anokhi taunts - an officer on duty provoking the person in jail to lose his cool, may be he was expecting SS to lose it and hit him so he can actually have a real case against him?

So disgusting this ACP is.

I just didn't like Anokhi telling both of them bye when ACP unnecessarily came to drop her to hostel. She came with SS and it's basic courtesy she goes with him too even if she didn't love him and here the girl claims to love him and dreams about him, still couldn't choose him to go with. If the same was done by SS I'm sure the fandom would have been unkind to him and called him "not worthy of Anokhi"

I haven't watched the episode yet.. Just saw the precap and based on what's written here...

I don't think makers are planning to make him bad or negative... He had just asked for sorry na?

As far as I have remembered...ACP has never been professional...

Nor has Shaurya to be honest... But I don't think any of it matters in ITV...

Like if any new viewer saw the blasting of restaurant day... Would feel Ahir as a lead and Shaurya as some negative lead... And today might be similar with reversed role... So I doubt makers had any intention to make him look bad... To be honest..

And I bet Nikki will later apologize to him when she will need his help for getting Babli out of trouble...

It's not that he just asked for "sorry".....based on the chain of events so far and today's episode where ACP revealed he likes Anokhi and he knows SS likes her too and he doesn't want SS to think "he can win the race alone" etc. etc. it's evident Ahir knows what SS feels about Anokhi and still tries to provoke him throughout...he drove him to the point where SS wouldn't even feel sorry for causing the damage, let alone asking for it.

And what I found extremely annoying was the ACP doing it to SS when he is in the jail which is in no way something a decent guy would do...so whatever respect he was trying to gain in comparison with a badly-behaved short-tempered SS, he lost it all because it's clear he is manipulating too...he just has a sweet smile and a much better control over his anger than SS who's more honest and vulnerable.

If the ACP was some sadakchap all this would have been tolerable but he's a police officer and he's doing all this with his complainant.

Also knowing that Anokhi loves Shaurya (otherwise why would she day-dream today about SS telling her I LOVE YOU), it's hard to digest that she still couldn't choose between ACP and SS when both offered to drop her to hostel. As a feminist it suits her character to be independent but if my man offered to drop me off (after picking me up) and another guy randomly thrusted himself on me, I know whom to choose. AB doesn't which is why I think she doesn't love SS and all that they are showing the last few days is just some random batshit to lead to some terrible events this week!

(on a side note, I like what SS told Ahir today for his race/game comment - Anokhi is not a race or game for SS).

May be to redeem SS they are taking down Ahir to this level of stupidity and then to redeem him they will show him doing something Mahan with AB. bwahaha!

I would like this to be shown properly. Wonder who invited him. At least if they can show like BM invited him because she noticed something off the other day with SS staring at him in the hostel? It doesn't make sense otherwise. So many loopholes in the ACP track. With nothing concrete about this character he seems to be a disgrace to his uniform. They better show him as positive or negative instead of trying to hold the suspense and ruining his whole character.

Also, what he said was right- if Anokhi tells him to back off, he will do that but Shaurya has no right to ask him to not pursue Anokhi. Shaurya does have anger issues which he need to reign in!

Hey, I absolutely like your post. Although I liked AAhir before today, but today like you said he has stopped low. I liked Shauhir banters but today it was arghh.

Bold : Third thing could be informing some family member etc about the arrest. But an educated person/professor chose to ignore all these options? Why? Because had he opted for any of it then how would our heroine's protective/caring side would have been shown. It's itv and we cannot expect logic from itv.

Red: True that but maybe Nikki was feeling awkward to turn down ACP after all he is a good friend too and has helped her alot of times. Also, she can feel shy to go with professor because like she might think what ACP might think Also till now the confession has not taken place so no particular reason to go with SS other than she came with him.

Purple: That maybe because that's how romantic/fiction stories are fed into our mind or maybe because most of the fd consists of ladies so they relate more to the character of Anokhi.

I would like to stand corrected.. 😆 I should totally avoid commenting on the show without actually watching it...

But I do hope all of this is to redeem Shaurya for all that he did in the past and get over this stupid jealousy track!

Yeah, kind of feels like this. Supporting character was without any flaws and overshadowing ML. That can be the reason.

Bold: Yes, it's super weird that family member wasn't informed and they didn't try to reach out either. this is fiction after all but would be nice if the viewer intelligence was appreciated :)

Red: I agree, she probably wanted to be polite, and especially since he offered first when SS wasn't even there, so it does make sense. But I hope that they show AB taking a stand for whom she sees as her man instead of coming across dilly dallying (she's such an intelligent, smart and courageous woman that I can't accept her shown this way).

Purple: True that! We relate more to the female's story. But I was wondering how we would have all reacted if it was Shagun-Shaurya-Anokhi triangle and SS did the same! To be polite to Shagun had he refused Anokhi's offer 🤪

haha...even after watching all the episodes diligently from the start, I'm confused and not clear who's black, white, grey! because I think the makers themselves haven't made up their mind 😆
