Other show's promos feature the FL first and then the ML. That's typical of ITV. However, the initial promo featured just Shaurya and a girl with many award. Anokhi had no lines until the third one. That itself makes it clear that they prefer the ML more than FL.

I won't comment and compare on the actors' acting as it will be against forum rules.

Yes..i know..i didn't mention actors names..but just wanted to say...and i agree with you...it's shaurya ek anokhi kahani...but the thing is if they sideline all and other characters have no strength..then the main character itself lack strength...hope makers realize this..

This name was given by SP. The production house decided on the name Shaurya: Ek Anokhi Kahani.

I agree. The supporting characters build the main character and they all make the show. When the show started, I was happy seeing many experienced face playing the roles of supporting characters. They aren't making use of the FL so my expectations from others went down the drain

I think some viewers find it strange that Shaurya was behind Anokhi with a single-minded focus instead of showing any interest/concern for his parents. I think it's in line with the character and rightfully so. His parents didn't think of him or consult with him while making any decision, ever. They were/are focused on their priorities and problems. So let Shaurya do the same 😆

Also for those who think ACP is a better character than Shaurya:

- We don't even know if he's positive, negative, or grey. That fuzzy it is.

- There's no personality trait standing out except his fondness for Chai and having a hard-to-decipher expression all the time.(it's their idea to leave his character progress in any direction by keeping his expressions confusing??)

So I really don't understand what makes him a better character than Shaurya.

If it's the actors that we are talking about: to each their own.

I have seen comments like that. I think it's their opinion. I personally don't feel that's weird. The family is broken. When Aastha and Shaan signed the papers, they didn't talk about Shaurya once because they knew he wanted the divorce. I would be surprised if he had shown worry because of the divorce.

About Anokhi, I believe he shouldn't make her the center of his world. Rest is okay

Hey guys, it’s the first time that I am actually posting some thing in this forum, but I have been watching the show from the start. I just watched this episode and what I find is that it looks like Shaurya has been doing everything that he has been doing this whole week, not because of his attraction for Anokhi, but genuinely because he feels guilty that he is ruining a student’s future. I agree he has a growing attraction for her and deep down his actions are due to that attraction, but he is unaware of it and has grasped the emotions on the surface (guilt) to justify his actions. I don’t think he has reached a stage where he feels love for her yet, it’s merely an attraction at the moment, and his need for her to idolise him, like how his other students do. The fact that she hasn’t thus far has not sat right with him and hence his mood swings and irritation.

I actually don't know. I have always wondered where is the line between falling and fallen. Maybe it is guilt as Shaan and you said. There is definitely attraction. Now Aastha said she senses something budding tonight. Should we believe her motherly instincts or make a conclusion on our own? I am not really sure

There definitely is something budding, but both participants are unaware of its nature. For Anokhi, maybe she’s starting to idolise him, as a teacher, like how she does Aastha mam. For him, he’s fulfilled his duty as a teacher and got her on the right track. But the deep rooted emotion of love or attraction is not something they are aware of ( let alone in denial of) at the moment, I think.

With Anokhi, she’s suddenly questioned herself why she thought of Shaurya when she played that favourite person game with Aahir in the car. Maybe, this is the starting of her awareness of her attraction for him, I don’t know. This makes me think that she’s going to fall or accept it way before he does, but she may just bury it cos of his place in her life as an educator.
