ultimately we have to accept the fact that star is a trp hungry channel. the show would have survived longer in any other channel. in sp also it can go upto 1 year with slot change and same trp. fingers crossed 🤞…. but i think it will pull back in the coming weeks

Maybe they can change the time slot now. Maybe 11pm would be better.

The thing is, the drama content of this show is pretty low. TRP viewers want drama. The villains here are pretty ineffective. Even romance genre shows of SP had high drama content, be it IPK or Ishqbaaz. And the rival show as I am hearing has a lot of drama.

The trp that we got for this week was from Saturday 29th May to Friday 4th June. Those episodes had lots of romance but no drama. The trp for Aastha Shaurya meeting, their reunion, Anokhi's rustication, Tej's threat etc. will come next Thursday. I think this week has been high on drama and emotion content. But since there has been no promo, people are unaware of it.

I wish they release a promo of social marriage.

Such a fast paced show is getting low trps and shows with unnecessary dramas which stretches to weeks are topping the charts. I didn't expect the trp to reduce. It is really sad. Now that it is no more the slot leader I think the pressure will start. Hope star atleast gives it a different time slot. And yes promo is absolutely necessary now.

Last week saakk episodes were light and rival show was having high voltage drama. So I expected they will lead the slot and saakk will dip down in trp. My experience with itv shows marriage equals jump in trp and marriage with bride swap equals huge jump in trp. Regarding promo sp majorly gives promo for its high trp shows. I doubt they will give any promo. I can only say enjoy the show because nothing is in our hands. Indian audiences having tv watch it on tv and hotstar viewers watch it on hotstar.

Seems like situation is no different from last week... And not to forget... Shaadi track has ended there!

The story here is so messed up... Unless they cut down on what the Twitter and Instagram FD wants and bring it to what story and logic requires (I won't say what trp audience wants... But that's given)... And not to forget show did manage to have trps atleast 1.2 at one point... So the show was capable of bringing viewers but it could not engage audience like it should have..

Also... SP seems to have decided the fate of the show, and hence its just letting it run to please the fans till other shows start flowing in..

We are desperately in need of a promo now. Atleast for this social marriage a promo should be there. I know SP is not interested but still we need to send mails or do something for getting a promo.

Maybe we can also ask for change in timeslot. I think 11 pm is free right. Many good shows were at 11 pm and got good TRPs also.
