CHAPTER TWO

Toh officers r u ready for ur evacuation task said a very strict and stern voice!! He was the group captain who trained all the squadron leaders. The evacuation task was one of the most difficult one wherein the officers had to show how quick they can b at times of danger. After this particular task they will get their posting at different quarters

GROUP CAPTAIN- so lets get ready. First up is squadron leader Punit Khanna He said loudly in a gruffled voice.

One by one all the squadron leaders had completed their task and then he called out...

GROUP CAPTAIN- Squadron leader Rajat Sareen!

The voice with which the group captain had called showed how much he liked rajat sareen and was proud of him

RAJAT SAREEN- yes sir!

GROUP CAPTAIN- r u ready

RAJAT - yes sir he signalled him by a thumbs up!

So our hero started off with his task

First he had to climb down from the helicopter with the support of the rope ladders. He did that with mere perfection and with in 3 seconds. Then swam from the middle of the sea till the shore. With all his uniform wet and heavy he had to run in the tough sand with the blowing wind towards him he tumbled quite a few steps but he was not a person who could give up(ryt guys!!) and reached a high slope which he climbed with the support of a rope reached the peak and had to jump into the fire and save a few dolls as heavy as an average human being with utmost care. After that he had to transport a barrel of air force weapons one by one at a distance of 100 metres to and fro and then his final task was to catch the rope and swing all the way and reach the other end.(just like the ones in the jungle book) he completed them all in a perfect manner. That was the main reason he was the best amongst his batch

GROUP CAPTAIN: well done rajat im proud u my son!!

RAJAT- thank u sir!

GROUP CAPTAIN-so squadron leaders aaj ke task ke best performers hain. At number three Punit Khanna within 8mins 40secs second v have Rahul sharma within 8mins5secs and the best squadron leader of the final task is Rajat sareen within 4mins20secs

Everyone applauded rajat very much and they all knew no one can be better than him, he had earned it all in the last three years

AT NIGHT... THE PARTY

GROUP CAPTAIN- so here v present to u the postings of the squadon leaders

He read out a score of squadron leaders and their postings and then said...

GROUP CAPTAIN- squadron leader Rajat sareen posted at the delhi national capital IAF office

It seemed all so unimaginable for him. After all he was returning back home after 3 long years

A loud voice on the mic read out

GROUP CAPTAIN- the best out-going squadron leader of the year goes to RAJAT SAREEN

With all disciplines he went to receive his award and a certificate and the medal! He raised his award to the audience with utmost pride!!

Being the star of the evening he opened the champagne bottle and declared the party on

It was an informal party at Hotel Residency wherein anyone could enter

And...where there was Rajat Sareen there had to be mad bimbos behind him

PAYAL-may I have an autograph of u??

RAJAT-yes sure! Paper??

PAYAL- paper ki kya zaroorat hai meri haath mein hi likh deejiye, chahe toh aap...

Rajat cut her off in between and said

RAJAT- here u go!(he signed in her hand) and now I need to go! So excuse me

PAYAL- With love rajat sareeen? Haye main mar jaavan. Lekin yeh toh mujhe ghaas hi nahi de raha hai

Rajat had met all types of bimbos and dealt with them with love and not all that flirty coz no one was that beautiful as how he imagined his dream girl to be. The party was over and all of them went to their rooms coz their flight was early in the next morning

AT RAJAT SAREENS ROOM...

Rajat was talking to himself (like main aur meri tanhayi types)

RAJAT - after all theen saal baaad unka beta ghar aa raha hai. Mom ko toh batana padega, kitna khush hongi who

RAJAT's MIND- arey budhdhu! Sare excitement ka falooda banayega kya? Thoda surprise toh hona chahiye na..

RAJAT-haaan surprise toh dena padega..

He started thinking of the day three years back when he decided to shift to the borders for training

FLASHBACK...

RAJAT- mom , dad suno mujhe 3 saal ke liye training ke liye borders jana hoga. How amazing is that finally mera sapna poora hoga.

SAREEN- arey waah!! Mera beta zaroor fauji bankar hi lautega!!

MINTY-nahiii!!! Rajat tu apni maa ko chodke jayega kya?

RAJAT- mom ...

MINTY- main tumhare bina kaise reh paongi??(and she started crying...)

SAREEN- oye minty. Apne bete ki kushi mein kush rehna seek aur yeh rona dhona band kar

Right then neil entered the house

NEIL-mom kya ho gaya aap ro kyun rahi hain?? Dad bhai kuch batao na kya hua??

RAJAT- yaar chote mujhe 3 saal borders jana hoga isliye mom ro rahi hain

NEIL- waah bhai yeh toh bahut khush hone waaali baat hai!

SAREEN- tu hi samjha apni maa ko ki yeh khushi waali baat hai. Hum samjhayenge toh use galat hi lagega

NEIL- mom.. sirf theen saal ki toh baat hai aur main aur papa hain na yahaan. Bhai apne sapne poore karne ke liye jaa rahe hain mom!

MINTY- tu mujhe wada kar ki tu apne bhai ki tarah mujhe kabhi chod ke nahi jayega

NEIL- promise mom! Main aapko kabhi nahi chodoonga. Ab toh smile karo aur bhai ko congratulate karo

Minty gives her blessing to rajat

IN THE BEDROOM

Rajat had packed all his bag just then neil comes to him...

NEIL- BHAI main aapke liye bahut khush hoon. Aap khoob mehnat karna

RAJAT- waah mera bhai bada ho gaya! Zaroor karoonga yaar. isi k liye toh ja raha hoon

NEIL- nahi bhai mujhe pata hai, 3 saal k baad aapka posting kahin bhi ho sakta hai par yeh baat mom ko nahi pata. Agar aap best officer sabit hote toh aapko apne sheher mein post kiya jayega isliye main bata raha hoon

RAJAT- chote.. teri kasam main zaroor teen saal baad yahi aaonga

NEIL- mujhe bhi yakeen hai bhai aap zaroor aoge

Rajat and Neil shared a very close bond. They could tell anything to each other.they both had a last hug and rajat came out of his room

SAREEN-ja beta jee le apni zindagi. Apna sapna poora karke hi waapas aana

MINTY- mera rajat 3 saal baad zaroor ayega na?

RAJAT- haan mom pakka!

She takes aarthi of him and then he left...

BACK TO PRESENT

Rajat was extremely excited he just thought how happy his mom would be and how glad his dad would be to c his son in his uniform and he wondered whether his brother changed or still remained the same. The only thing he waited for was tomorrow. He had a very good nite sleep.

Next morning they boarded the flight and reached delhi within few hours

Rajat sareen in his uniform with his black coolers walked from the runway upto the entrance. Right from the air hostess to the receptionist were fida over his charm. It was nothing new for rajat but all he thought was he had to rush home and meet mom,dad and neil.

AT THE SAREEN HOUSE...

The door was wide open so rajat swiftly entered the house and shouted

RAJAT- mom dad neil dekho main aa gaya!

SAREEN- rajat...tu... (they both hugged each ther) mera fauji!

MINTY- mera bachcha..mera rajat...(and she started crying) tune bataya hi nahi kit u aa raha hai

RAJAT- agar bata diya hota toh aap ko surprise kaise deta mom!! (he hugged her and kissed her forehead) ab main kahin nahi jaoonga mom

NEIL- (comes running) bhai... (he slightly skids mid way but then rajat holds his hand) mujhe pata hai bhai aap mujhe girne se rok loge

rajat was stunned to see his brother he was almost the same just that he built up his muscles a little

rajat and neil shared a tight wala jhappi!

RAJAT- dekho main sab ke liye kuch laya hoon...

Mom yeh lo aapki favourite pink colour ki saadi and dad aapke liye special borders se ek bottle rum aur chote tere liye der saare wrist bands and an electric guitar!!

NEIL- bhai electric guitar...?? Thank u so much

MINTY- toh bolo aaj kya khayega sab tere pand ki hi banaoongi!

Rajat went to his room and relaxed for a while then had bath. The sareens had breakfast. Later minty was busy cooking neil had gone to his college and sareen back to work

Rajat was sitting in his room when he heard a big THUD. He wondered from where it came he looked out of his window it was the store room

AT THE STORE ROOM...

he went to c whom it was and found a girl dressed in a baby pink salwar suit with long hair pony tailed neatly. The girl struggled to keep the vacuum cleaner on the last rack of the shelf. Having lack of height she slipped again. His reflex acted so soon that he caught he vacuum cleaner with one hand and the other hand touched hers.

RAJAT- main kar deta hoon(and he placed the vacuum cleaner in its place)

The girl turned towards him. She was almost jammed between the shelf and him. He sensed her awkwardness and moved a step back. She said..

ANUSHKA- thanks!

RAJAT- pleasures mine!

And she made her way out of the store room before he could ask for her name.

Hey Shri..read both the parts in one go and I must say u have amazingly narrated the story..really loved it.I was able to visualize each n every scene..it gives me feeling as if I am watching the serial.anuraj have their first meeting and that too in store room awww...it reminds me of store room scene...keep updating😛
