CHAPTER 3

Rajat came back to his room. He was puzzled to find a new person in their store room. It was lunch time and Mr sareen had come home right then. He saw rajat being puzzled. After the meal he asked him

SAREEN- fauji! Kya hua kiske khayalon mein khoya hai??

RAJAT- nahi dad I saw a girl in the store room

SAREEN- arey who shastri ji ki betiyaan hongi

RAJAT- kaun shastri ji dad??

SAREEN- oh fauji main toh bhul hi gaya ek minute main unhe bulake lata hoon!!

RAJAT-nahi dad main upar aata hoon.

They both go upstairs and meet the shastris

SAREEN- shastri ji..! yeh dekhiye mera fauji beta rajat

SHASTRI- sareen ao ao!

RAJAT- Namaste uncle( and he took the dust of his feet)

SHASTRI-jeete raho beta!!

Sareen questioned piya where were the rest of the sisters. Piya went to call all of them. All the sisters had come

SHASTRI- yeh hamari badi beti alka, yeh devyani hai aur yeh piya hai aur anu...

PIYA- who papa anu didi aa rahi hai

And anu came dusting her dress and hair. She was so simple and beautiful. She looked like beauty with brains.

SHASTRI- aur yeh hamari doosri beti anushka hai. Aur bete yeh rajat hai sareen ka bada beta

Anu joined her hands in a formal and traditional way and said

ANU- Namaste

He was amazed by her and said

RAJAT- well! Namaste( he also joined his hands like she did)

Right then devyani was stunned to see a man so handsome and charming. Quickly she forwarded her hand and said

DEVYANI- hello! Hum devyani shastri hain

RAJAT- hi devyani

PIYA- aur hum piya hain

RAJAT- hello princess!!

They all sat on the sofa and alka came with halwa and served it to everyone and said

ALKA- hum alka hain

SAREEN - mmm...alka halwa bahut achchi bani hai

RAJAT- aisi halwa maine aaj tak nahi khaya

ALKA- who uncleji aaj halwa anu ne banaya

SAREEN- badi achchi banayi hai tune beta ( he said to anu)

ANU- thank u uncle

SAREEN- thik hai shastri ji ab hum chalte hain

They wave bye and leave from there

NEXT MORNING...

Everyone were busy doing their own work. Anushka and devyani came rushing down

ANU- devyani tumne saare certificates aur mark sheets le li na?

DEVYANI- haan anushka. Humne sab kuch le li ab chalo

SAREEN - beta college ja rahe ho kya main bhi saath chaloon??

ANU- nahi uncleji hum khud chale jayenge

They stop a rickshaw get in and they ride down

RAJAT'S BEDROOM

There was a DO NOT DISTURB board at the door and no one dares to enter rajats room when this board was hung. Inside the room rajat was talking to someone over the phone

RAJAT- yes sir...

RAW AGENT- dekho rajat yeh kaam tumhe 3 saal pehle di thi aur ab waqt aa gaya hai ki tum action lena shuru karo

RAJAT- yes sir..ill start the work sir

RAW AGENT- tumhe pata hai na ST Xavier's college mein tumhe NCC trainer banke jana hai

RAJAT- yes sir aur humein yeh bhi khabar mili hai ki terrorist gang ka ek aadmi isi college mein admission lene wala hai

RAW AGENT- very good rajat keep it up! U can join in from tomorrow

RAJAT- yes sir!

Rajat keeps the phone and talks to himself,

RAJAT- borders mein toh yeh log bach gaye lekin yahaan main unhein chodoonga nahi... MISSION GREY STAR shuru

So guys our rajat sareen is an under cover agent for india!!

AT ST.XAVIER'S COLLEGE

The director was inspecting anu's certificates and mark sheets and said

DIRECTOR- anushka shastri right, tumhare sare marks bahut achche hain and u r good in sports also. Your admission in our college is accepted

Anu was good in sports. She was an athlete and was very dedicated to sports but she never took it up seriously because her dad wanted her to finish her studies and find a job to help him with the finance

DIRECTOR- anushka tum ek achchi sportsperson ho toh isliye hamara college tumhe directly NCC mein enroll karta hai. Iske liye koi fees nahi hai

ANUSHKA - thank u sir!

She came out very happily. She always wanted to join in NCC. She waited for devyani now

A few minutes later devyani came out very sad...

ANU- kya hua devyani? Admission mila kya??

DEVYANI- nahi anushka.. who Buddha humein admission hi nahi de raha hai. Tumhara kya hua

ANU- humein admission mil gayi hai aur humein NCC mein bhi enrol kar diya gaya hai!

DEVYANI- Wow anushka!! Lekin... humara kya hoga??

ANU- tum tension mat lo devyani. Sareen uncle ne bola na ki paas mein neil ka college hai. Hum wahaan try karte hain na

They both walked down to neils college

AT ST,JHON'S COLLEGE

DIRECTOR- dekho miss. Devyani shastri aapke marks thode upar neeche hain toh aapko hum early morning college nahi de sakte par afternoon batch mein kuch ho sakta hai

ANU- ok sir toh aap afternoon college ke liye admission de deejiye

Finally both devyani and anushka had got admission just that anus college was in the morning and devyanis was in the afternoon. They both were happy and returned home and told sareen and shastri the whole story

ANU- papa kal fees pay karke hum join bhi kar sakte hain

SHASTRI- thik hai beta hum tumhe paisa de dete hain college jate waqt devyani ka bhi bhar dena

ANU- thik hai papa.

Sareen and shastri have their tea and go for a long evening walk.

AT NIGHT...THE TERRACE

Anu was sitting on the jhula and was having her mom's photo in her hand.she spoke to herself

ANU-maa hum apne sheher chodkar iss naye duniyaan mein bas toh payenge na? yahaan sab kuch naya naya sa lag raha hai. Ek ajeeb sa dar laga rahta hai ki kahin kuch bura toh na ho...!! Kaash aap hamare saath aaj hoti maa. Humein aapki bahut yaad aa rahi hai!!

She hugged her mom's photo and closed her eyes. Least that she expected that a pair o eyes were watching her continuously and a pair of ears had overheard all that she said.. it was none other than Rajat sareen. He had come with his laptop to work in the terrace. He politely went to her and said

RAJAT- sorry lekin maine tumhari saari baatein sun li

Anu opened her eyes wide in shock.

RAJAT- hey relax! Main yeh kisi ko nahi bataoonga. Waise agar tum chaho toh mujhse baat kar sakti ho. Tumhara man halka hoga

ANU- nahi! No thanks. Im fine

Rajat again sensed that she was feeling awkward so he changed the conversation

RAJAT- hey waise halwa bahut hi badiya thi. Main bata nahi paya

ANU- thanks...aur good night bahut raat ho gayi humein jana hai

RAJAT- good night!

And she walked a few steps then she stopped and turned back

ANU- rajat kya aap yahaan kam karne wale hain?

RAJAT- haan...kyun tumhe kuch kehna tha kya?( he expected her to share some of her thoughts with him but...)

ANU- haan.. who raat ko jate samay aap pls light off karke jayiye

RAJAT- haan?? Thik... thik hai main band kar doonga don't worry

ANU-(she smiled and said) good night and walked away

RAJAT- (said to himself) good night. Chalo main apna kam karta hoon

guys hope u liked chapter 3. i know anuraj k love story ki gadi thoda slow hai but u guys have to bear with it😃 happy reading!!
