yes but I really hope this time around they show things different with Virat and heer...and it’s also supposed to be like 20 or 25 years after Harman and soumyas time ...so medical intervention has advanced even more. It would be so nice to see Heer going for medical treatment ....because that’s what happens in real life..people born this way seek medical treatment...most often their parents take them when they are still children,..but even those who find out later ,.still try to get medical help..🤷🏻♀️.. Because if the writers have decided that a kinnar must get normal love from a man and marriage to go with it...then why shouldn’t she also try to get medical help so she can have a normal physical relationship with her husband.. if this was a real scenario....heer would definitely go for medical help..and she’s supposed to be educated... Educated people go out and seek help and find answers. I’ll be really upset if they turn her into a helpless crying mess after she finds out that she’s intersex..😡...I don’t want to see her Become weak ...she’s always been strong, confident and a fighter ...And if virat is willing to sacrifice so much for her ..why can’t she go through medical treatment for the both of them,🤷🏻♀️
I as well hope that this time around they portray it differently: either Heer should go for medical treatment or they can show that her condition is not as serious as it was diagnosed at birth. From what I've read, when a baby is born with variations in sex characteristics, just an external examination is not sufficient. Hormonal and genetical tests are necessary to be done to see which characteristics will develop more: the female or the male ones. An internal examination is also needed to see if the baby has the internal reproductive organs of a woman or not. Without an internal checking, I am just wondering how did Heer's family conclude that she is infertile? Externally she may not look like a woman, but her internal organs can be normal and functional or they can become functional with minimum treatment. Or without hormonal and genetics tests, how did they know that they should raise her as a girl? What if later she had developed male characteristics as a deeper voice or a beard? How would they have hidden that?
After reading about this subject, I don't like at all the way they are treating it. They give the message that all transgenders are the same which is far away from the truth.
I understand that they what to give the message that the transgenders should be accepted the way they are and they don't want to give them false hopes that they can only be happy only if they go through medical treatment, but showing that a man is ready to saccrifice so much of his personal life for being with a transgender, isn't it also hard to believe and false hope? I am not saying that is impossible, but it is hard to belive. So, if they can show something so unbelievable that a man can love a transgener without any form of intimate relationship for the rest of their live, they can also show Heer going trough some medical treatment which is actually a very real thing in the modern world.
