Yes, its definitely about acceptance if CVs adhere to the subject and don't deviate into family drama

Hello, first time posting in the forums. I have been a silent reader for many many years but finally felt like I want to say something.
The problem is, they have never really tried explaining the biological aspect of the problem here. which makes me think wonder if the ambiguity is intentional. Is this a story about acceptance or about finding a cure? I would hope its about acceptance. I am nobody to judge, it is a personal decision to accept or change yourself in such a situation to be honest and I do get it.
But Intersex condition comprises a very broad range when biologically speaking. It could be Mullerian Agenesis or Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia and like you said it could also be pure AIS. I think it would be hard to detect complete AIS when she was born so it cannot be that. Also pure, AIS means she is not a female, she is genetically a man. That is a hard corner to write yourself in and I don't know if the makers are bold enough to go there. I just hope whatever is her condition as an intersex, they focus on the real issue here that is the extreme nature of scrutiny the society unleashes on them and we get a heartfelt journey of understanding and acceptance. 😊

First of all, m glad that my post prompted u to share ur views😃

yes, makers hv never explained anything yet..may be they too r figuring out how it can be represented..😉

Yes, its definitely abt acceptance but I don't trust soaps, they can deter from subject and turn into love story or family drama in no time..😭

Personally I would want the cure part..it is equally imp.

Yes, Mullerian Agenesis or Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia or AIS is hard to be identified..but somehow by magic, her not-so-educated parents know from childhood 😲

thanks for ur comment...would love to see u more active😊

Thanks for the analysis!
However considering the past situations on how Saumya's family has been reacting to her since birth, I think its an external issue. She looks different (I hope you got what I mean) from other normal females.

Her gait, body composition, facial features, hair growth etc. makes it seem she has no issues with hormonal development.

Hence AIS doesn't seem to be her issue. AIS means she was born with male genes and has female hormones, which is a non-man category of transgenders.

To me she seems more of someone born female who has not fully developed into a complete woman.

You may try reading my other write-ups for this scenario in below links for my explanation of the potential situation.

I don't think we can easily rule out hormones. She isn't transgender, she is intersex right. AIS could explain a lot for her, I mean she has overly feminine features. If we consider her to have CAIS, then she will basically will be run on pure estrogen which can make her have flawless feminine features but then it would be obviously hard to identify it until she reaches the age of puberty when she will not be menstruating. So if we rule out CAIS, then there's a whole spectrum of issues that could cause her to have uncommon genital features. MRKH could be it because in that case she may have been born with no uterus and vagina, which can be easily identified when born. I think that is what she has, rest is up to the makers. However they decide to show it but I hope they don't shy away from addressing it head on.
