Chapter 1:
Harman is sitting on a couch and looking at his files. His mom comes and snatches that file.
Harman: Maa what is this? I was doing some work. Please give me back my file.
Maa: You don't listen when I call your name! That is why I have to snatch your file.
Harman: What maa?
Maa: Harman, we are going back to India!
Harman is shocked and stood up
Harman: No I am not coming with you. I hate that place. I will never go back there.
Maa: A person who is scared to face his past can never find happiness anywhere! Anyway, I don't want to lecture you. India is huge country. We are not going back to Mumbai but Delhi!
Harman: But why? I don't want to go back!
Maa: Its not about what you want. We have to go back. Your grandma is unwell and she needs us.
Harman walks away.
Maa: He will never understand that he has to face his past in order to come out. But he will never understand. I wish that he finds enough courage to go back and see what he has done.
Harman is in his room, standing by his window.
Harman: She can never understand me! I don't want to go back! I can never forget that night. That night destroyed everything. If I go back then I won't be able to survive.
Suddely He hears a voice. Someone called out Soumya name.
Harman tries to look outside but he sees no one. Then he runs outside but still sees no one.
Suddenly someone touches him from back. Harman looks back. It was his mom.
Maa: She is not here Harman.
Harman: Who are you talking about?
Maa: You know who I am talking about!
Harman: I seriously don't know who you're talking about and neither do I care! Please leave me alone.
Maa: Then why are you here if it makes no difference to you. You're lawyer Harman. I know your profession is full lies and deceit but don't lie to such extent that you forget who you are.
Harman: Maa I know i am liar. I know i am traitor. I know I am a horrible person! okay thanks a lot for reminding me again and ruining my day.
Someone again calls out Soumya name and Harman looks back.
Maa: Its not your Soumya!
Harman: What?
Maa: That voice is coming from the park. She is not your Soumya but a little five year old girl who is fighting for her life because she has leukemia.
Harman have tears in his eyes.
Harman goes back to his room, lock the door, and makes a call.
Harman called his doctor.
Harman: I want you and your team of doctors to treat a five year old girl. She lives by my house. Her family is really poor. That is why I will spend as much money as possible but I want her alive.
Doctor: What is wrong with her?
Harman: She has leukemia but I want her to live. Nothing should happen to Sau...
He stops all of a sudden
Doctor: Its fine nothing will happen to her.
Harman: I am going back to India for a while. I will come to collect my medications.
He hangs up the phone.
Harman closes his eyes and lay on his bed.
FLASHBACK (Five years back)
Harman is in canteen along with his few friends.
His friends: Romi and Randhir
Harman: Today I am very happy.
Randhir: We all know thats why you have ordered a meal of 10 people
Harman: Yes thats my treat to you guys.
Romi: But why are you so happy?
Randhir: He has found his prom date
Harman: SHUT UP, She was always suppose to go with me.
Romi: Yes but are you in love with her?
Harman: You should know it! Of course I love her. She is my life.
Randhir: His whole world centers around her. How can you love her so much?
Romi: Sometimes i feel she doesnt deserve you at all! I mean just look at her!
Harman: Surbhi is my life! I love her!
Romi: Sometimes we feel we love someone but we really don't!
Harman: What do you mean
Romi: Nothing, you will understand as time goes on.
Harman: By the way, where is muffin?
Randhir: Ohh yes I forgot to tell you! Your muffin is my prom date. Its our last year and I am so happy that finally I am going with her. At least, now I will be able to do what I want to do with her!
Harman stares at Randhir
Harman: What do you want to do with her?
Randhir; ohh...ohh I mean dance with her. Anyway I have to leave. Catch you guys later.
Romi: Are you jealous?
Harman: Why would I be?
Romi: Nothing
Harman: I don't love muffin. She is just my friend. Thats it
Romi: Did I even said anything?
Harman: No I know what you mean!
Romi: Chill dude. Soumya is a really nice person but its sad how she is fighting with all of this by herself.
Harman: She's not alone. I am with her and will always be with her!
Romi: Till when? You cannot be with her forever.
Harman: She's my best friend and I will support her always.
Romi: But you plan to go to Canada and settle with Surbhi
Romi: I have to leave Harman. See ya later.
Harman goes to a deep thinking and remember all the moments he spend with Soumya
Harman says to himself: These people can never understand my point of view. Soumya is just my friend and why am I even thinking about this? I should prepare for prom.
Flashback ends
Harman screams SOUMYAAA
Harman have tears in his eyes.
Harman says to himself: Somuuu I wish I could...Why are you not here with me? I always used you. I was never worthy of being your best friend. I hate myself because I can never forget and forgive what happen at that night.
Precap: Harman is in airplane with his mom. Harman receives a call. Harman is shocked after what he heard. He lost his control and started screaming
Now the question is what happened? Why did he screamed? What is killing Harman from inside? Where is Soumya?
