Fun Post: Mama conferred honorary PhD

My first fun post on this forum - hope you enjoy it!

Payal's mama had taken a 15 day vacation in order to help with preparations for Payal's sagaii (engagement). He spent his days in Payal's house eating samosas and jelabis and of course helping out with all the sagaii related chores.

The students, staff and faculty at his workplace missed him and often phoned Payal's house to seek his help and expert opinion. Invariably, the person who picked up the phone was Payal's mom. The students, staff, and faculty always asked to speak to PhD Sir. Payal's mom was impressed and very proud of her brother. She asked the students why they called her brother a PhD - they told her that he had been conferred a PhD. She announced this news to the whole family.

Payal's sister; "Mama, why did you not tell us that you are a PhD?"

Guttu Mama: "Arre bitiya - it is just a little joke, it is nothing"

Payal's Mother: "Why are you so humble? Being conferred a PhD is no joke and certainly it is not a small achievement!"

Payal's sister: "Mama, tell us nah what is the PhD for - when did you get it?"

Payal's Mama (combing his hair): "Bitiya the students are pulling my leg - the PhD stands for Professional Hair Dresser"

I visualized the scene with Mama combing his hair 😆. Sitting in front of the table filled with Samosa's and Jalebi's 😆

Nikki - thank you for being the first to comment on my first fun post in this forum. 🤗

Chemical Mama is truly a PhD - he never leaves home without a comb!! And - he combs his hair every five minutes!!

And you are right - he loves to gorge on samosas and jelabis!!😃

Meena I saw your post and had to read it for it reminded me of old times. 🤗

And Jalebi reminds me of Bua and her dance on the song Jalebi Bai 😆

Mama is no less than Bua 😆

It's a request made a fun post on Mama and Bua 😆. Poor RD 😆

To be honest - I too thought of Bua (and Jalebi Bai) when I wrote the word jalebis. 😆😉

So you want a fun post on Mama and Bua ... mmm let me think about it. RD will never forgive me!

Yes, mama is funny!! The ambience right now is very light heartened. The emotional quotient will kick in when Payal realizes that Ayodhya is her husband's brother and that she and her family were tricked!! And when Gul baby hears of it - we will hear her shouting foul and wanting to shove things up her father-in-laws backside😃
