If she’s earning more than him, she can’t ask for anything at all 😆

Or generally when women do ask - it’s to prolong the case and drag the person to court.. especially if the guy has cheated in some way or wants to get remarried to another woman soon; even if she isn’t really eligible.

It's not applicable in this case but in many cases, women give up on their careers to take care of the house, the in-laws and children. There is so much of physical and emotional labour that goes unrewarded. Yet men fail to see that it is only fair and not some form of extortion.

It might be fake because it could only be the média riding on the fact she changed her name on SM

But it can also be true as one can never know what happens behind close doors. Amala Paul had gotten a divorce 3 years after her marriage so the lenght of the marriage doesn't mean anything.

Didn't her taking an indefinite break announcement resolve the issue if it's about her career?

That’s the reason- even in movie like thappad it’s what they tried to show but many people failed to understand. Women give up a lot to be a homemaker and it’s something that can never even be paid back in monetary value. The years, emotions and physical labour is invaluable. Billions of dollars can’t give back what has been spent by the woman.

Men do a lot of mudslinging in these cases and they get away with it, they get remarried easily. Women have to live with the stain for all their lives - they are blamed more, questioned more. I have seen this a lot irl.
