*UP* to you to believe it or not… 🤔😝

One word in the English language that could be a noun, verb, adj, adv, prep is "UP".

Read until the end... you'll have a good laugh !!!

This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word. That word is, *'UP'*. It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].

It's easy to understand *UP*, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake *UP*?

At a meeting, why does a topic come *UP*? Why do we speak *'UP',* and why are the officers *UP* for election, if there is a tie, it is a toss *UP*, and why is it *UP* to the secretary to write *UP* a report ?

We call *UP* our friends, brighten *UP* a room, polish *UP* the silver, warm *UP* the leftovers and clean *UP* the kitchen. We lock *UP* the house and fix *UP* the old car.

At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People stir *UP* trouble, line UP for tickets, work *UP* an appetite, and think *UP* excuses.

To be dressed is one thing, but to be dressed *UP* is special.

And this *UP* can be confusing. A drain must be opened *UP* because it is blocked *UP* !!!

We open *UP* a store in the morning, but we close it *UP* at night. We seem to be pretty mixed *UP* about *UP* !!!

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of *UP*, look *UP* the word *UP* in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes *UP* almost 1/4 of the page and can add *UP* to about thirty definitions !!!

If you are *UP* to it, you might try building *UP* a list of the many ways *UP* is used. It will take *UP* a lot of your time, but if you don't give *UP*, you may wind *UP* with, *UP* to, a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding *UP*. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing *UP*. When it rains, it soaks *UP* the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry *UP*.

One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it *UP*, for now...... my time is *UP*!

Athazagoraphobia

The fear of being forgotten can arise in childhood if the individual has been left alone or has been ignored for a long time. Many sufferers of this phobia report feeling “inconsequential or unsubstantial” due to the feelings they undergo when left alone.

People with the fear of being forgotten phobia tend to have low self esteem and self confidence. Often, such people are inherently introverted, depressed or tend to lack the ability to interact normally in society. They are, by nature, shy and passive. At the same time, it is difficult for the person as s/he undergoes deep turmoil thinking repeatedly of “simply fading into oblivion”.

Generally speaking, light serves as a symbol of life, happiness, prosperity, and, in a wider sense, of a perfect being. As a symbol of life, light can also serve as a symbol of immortality. Darkness, on the other hand, is associated with chaos, death, and the underworld.

Most of us already know that darkness is the absence of light, and that light travels at the fastest speed possible for a physical object. So, what does this mean? In short, it means that the moment that light leaves, darkness returns. In this respect, darkness has the same speed as light.

Light is a physical force. It's electromagnetic radiation. Darkness is a perception-based concept. It is just the absence of visible light.

The darkness isn’t wrong. It’s part of life, a backdrop for the stars at night, the space between what you know. Darkness has a way of reminding you of the light you’ve been given on all those other days.

The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was, is lost, and none remember it. And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth. The Lord of the Rings.

Today, in the 21st century, Uraiyur (also spelt Woraiyur) is a posh locality in Tiruchirapalli city in Tamil Nadu, India. Uraiyur was the ancient name of Tiruchirappalli City. It was the capital of the early Cholas, who were one of the three main kingdoms of the ancient Tamil country.

Pallavi stared at the Dell 24-inch monitor as her fingers pressed the down arrow button on the keyboard and after a few moments looked up at Azhagan and said, ' I am sorry Mr.Kavin but there is nothing here. The nearest Kozhiyur to Madurai is in Cuddalore district ' and looking down, ' the other is Uraiyur in Trichy district '.

Azhagan smiled, ' That was once the capital of the mighty Chola kingdom and it was also known as Thirukkozhi, Nikalaapuri, Uranthai, and Kozhiyur or Koliyur. But that was back then in ancient times or the times that are classified as Early Chola times.'

His disappointment was felt acutely by Pallavi who was totally besotted with Azhagan and somehow this helped jog her memory for she suddenly clicked her fingers and exclaimed, ' I know where I have heard that name before ' and sitting down quickly typed a few commands on her keyboard and opened a window that asked for a password.

Azhagan whispered, ' Miss Pallavi, are you sure that you want to do this? 'and pointed to the window that stated boldly " Classified files ".

' Classified files, my foot. This is an obituary column as far as I am concerned.'

' Obituary column? Why do you say that?'

Pallavi smiled, ' Mr.Kavin, what else or how else do you talk of dead, gone, and forgotten things? Regardless of them being humans, places, or even Gods.'

Azhagan looked at her and looked at everything that we term as the larger picture and realizing that he might be putting the innocent woman in harm's way, thanked her and said, ' No. That will not be necessary, Miss Pallavi. I don't want you to get into any kind of trouble over this mundane query of mine.'

Even though he said it very politely, Pallavi knew the finality in his tone and hurriedly asked him if he required assistance with any other topic and sneaked in her request.

' If you leave your number, maybe I might be able to forward you more information about this place Kozhiyur, Mr. Kavin.'

' That will not be necessary, Miss Pallavi. But, thank you for the offer anyway. It is really kind of you. I wish you the very best ' Azhagan told her and quietly left the empty library wondering about the human race that was now more engrossed in their new addictions such as Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms.'

Coming out of the library, he thought for a second and then called Raman who answered immediately, ' My lord, is everything okay there in Madurai?'

' For now, child. For now. But, it won't be for long for the time is nearing when centuries of hate will explode with major consequences.'

' My lord, you mean the Sons Of Gaia?'

' Yes, them and the root of it all.'

Sensing an immense sadness in Azhagan's voice, Raman asked, ' What now, sir?'

' Raman, I need some information about a place that has been forgotten over time. I know in my heart that it is the source of all the evil that has been following me over decades.'

' My lord, why do you need to worry about this place and the evil that lies there? Let me and my department handle it. It will be safer that way and no questions will be asked.'

' No, child. This is between me and them. This is a war that has been raging between my kind and their kind and I don't want to use innocents as pawns in this coming war that has long been overdue.'

A silence heavy with foreboding fell between them and then Azhagan spoke, ' Kozhiyur. I want all the details about this place. I am certain that you will find it as a classified file and to be specific, I want details about this place that may lie just outside Madurai and in the area between it and Kodai hills.'

' Okay. How far back do you want me to go?'

' As far as possible? More importantly, aerial photos will be really helpful.'

' All right, my Lord. I will see what I can do ' Raman said and then just as he was about to end the call, he heard Azhagan's ominous warning.

' Ram, this is just between you and me. For our eyes and ears only. Don't tell, share or trust anybody else in this matter. Do you understand what I am saying here?'

' Yes, sir. Loud and clear.'
