Good morning. I wish all of you a beautiful day.

I have been very busy with work the past 35 days and with the new serial " Bhagyalakshmi" dominating my time and my life. Inbetween I juggled that time with Sun Tv's Kalyana parisu 2 and the yet to launch ETV'S Shrimanthudu and well I am really beat and dog tired.

The times when I do get to sit and write for my forum friends, my mind wanders in various directions and that is just me understating my situation.

Every chapter is an uphill climb and every character wants to say his or her piece. Fair enough isn't it. If one lives alone in their world then it is okay to have their own rules, sets of laws and approach life in their own unique way.

But, when one becomes two and more, and a house becomes an area and that multiplies into a nation, rules become vitally important and which need to be enforced.

Sadly, the enforcers are themselves split into various divisions and are filled to the gills with hatred.

I started to write about hatred for Hatred is one emotion, thought that is dominating our current way of life not only in India but all over the world. Hatred, segregation due to colour, class, creed, religion is slowly taking over not only our lives but is now taking centre stage in all sorts of social platforms.

Hatred of any kind and especially those based on flimsy grounds such cultural and religious diversities is bad, sad and should be abolished.

Divisions such as upper class, middle class, and lower class using means such as economy, faith, caste and colour and also power are so pathetic and cruel and I wonder when it will come to an end.

If I had my way, I would simply prefer humans to be classified as " Hygienic or Unhygienic" and stop with that, period.

As you travel through the day and the days along with the sun and moon, I hope your lives are blessed by the grace of the unseen power that we call God.

It does not matter in which way you look at it and it really matters not the justification for it but EGO is really the root of all evils. If, Ego is ruling your roost, then the power to hate too comes along with its partners, unreasonable and intolerant.

Podhigai Selvam's hatred came from the belief that he was superior to Anbu Chezhiyan who happened to be a Dalit by birth. But, this hatred flowed from his own father and the Thevar clan that they belonged to and which taught them that the backward and scheduled caste people in their existence deserved nothing better than scorn and neglect.

This cycle of blind hatred and mindless intolerance that had been put in place millenniums ago by people then in power along with the so-called educated people had never been broken although many over the years had tried their best to break it and make people see the light.

Podhigai Selvam called his father Periya Pandiyan and informed him about the presence of Minister Kavita Duraipandi Arumugam and asked him if he still wanted the attack to go on as planned.

Periya Pandiyan told him, ' Selvam, I don't have much time to talk and discuss this in detail for I am leaving for that Kattu panchayat meeting in Kaliamman thoppu and once that starts, I will not be able to talk in privacy. So, I will leave it to you to decide and I leave you with a piece of advice. Wait and watch, and if the opportunity should arise, then strike and disappear. Be patient, and for God's sake don't give in to your rage which we all know about.

If, it so happens that you are arrested, then don't panic and just surrender and I will take care of things. We have the ruling party and the opposition party in our hands along with friends in the police department and so you and our men will be well taken care of.'

We were the ones who stood by the famous kings of the Pandyan and Chola dynasty when they went to war and we were the ones who ruled this Tamil kingdom with great glory and now... a dog from the community who sweep our roads and clean our toilets has dare to question our legacy and legitimacy and has directly confronted my father, one of the most important Thevar clan leaders in the press and in court. It ends today and I will end it myself.'

Podhigai Selvam looked at his men Arul and Selvam and asked them' are you with me?' and both nodded and replied 'till the end.'

Three cute kids will gain you access through any entrance and thus it passed that Radhu along with Meena, Appu and Pappu entered the hall to attend the function that they had been so graciously invited to by Kavita.

Kavita introduced Radhu and the kids and then Jeeva, Kamakshi and Valliammai to her Alumni who were gathered there and Anbu Chezhiyan brimming with happiness looked at Jeeva and then at Kavita enquiringly ' You mean that this is Mrs.Raman, our senior, our hero?'

Nearly 25 people had gathered for this rather impromptu Alumni meeting that was mostly to serve the purpose of releasing the book by Kavita about her late brother Vijay and also to share and reflect on their memories about him from their college days.

All of the alumnus members thronged around Jeeva and Kavita and greeted them both with great respect and care.

One of them, a woman called Manimegalai looked at Kavita with great pride ' Kavi, I hope you become the chief minister of this state and maybe even the prime minister if that is possible, for then we can all be certain that things will improve and drastically for much change is the need of the hour.'

' Aiyo, Megalai, please for God's sake don't wish all that on me. I am tired of politics as it is and am even thinking of getting away from it all and working with Kids and for their upliftment and also want to work in the field of education.'

Anbu Chezhiyan interrupted her by touching her shoulder and said ' Kavita, you can do all that and more by being in power or at least being close with people who are in power. Your party is in power right now and has been for nearly 10 years now.'

Kavita shrugged her shoulders ' but come 2021 who knows if we will still be in power.'

Sampath, one of their batchmates protested loudly ' aiyo, then it will mean the DMK will come to power. Vendave vendaam.Law and order will suffer greatly under them and rowdyism and kattu panchayatu will rear its ugly head again.'

Standing a few feet away from this circle of old friends, Meena tugged at Radhu's pant and when he looked down at her asked ' Master sir, why are these people talking here about Aluminium? Are they having some sort of metal sale?'

Radhu totally thrown off by this question that Meena had suddenly popped to him, slowly looked around and then realized what she had meant but wrongly and replied with a smile, ' They are not here about Aluminium but for their Alumni get together.'

Meena looked at Radhu strangely and now Pappu and Appu joined her and stared at their new master.

' okay kids, just take it for granted and in good faith when I tell you that English is a bit confusing sometimes. But, right now Aluminium is a metal and Alumni meets a group of old class or college batchmates.'

Mrs.Elsa Anbu Chezhiyan greeted Kavita and introduced herself and then apologised ' I am sorry for my presence here since this is meant only for your Alumni members but I had to be here and see this book launch through.'

Kavita thanked her and then cast her eyes all around her Alumni friends and said ' If you think that Anbu here is the reason for this book then you are wrong for Elsa here contributed and more than me and Anbu. It was she who edited my notes and arranged them properly and gave it the final shape that is before you now at this moment.'

Radha Krishnan stood lost in the vision of Kavita and suddenly his mind brought back the memory of a loud blast. The moment, the day when the bomb had taken her away from him forever.

His eyes glistened with a film of wetness as he relived that fateful moment when she had laid down her life for him and the wetness now glimmered and shimmered as tears brimmed in his eyes, and he whispered ' Zareen, Zareen , it is you who has come back to me from death for I see you in her and in her every movement. What am I to do now, Zareen?'

If Radha Krishnan thought his thoughts were hidden in his mind and heart, he was right, nearly right but not completely for tears are not the only signs of pain,turmoil and emotions and which reveal that a person is sad or down.

When one is sad, overwhelmed by sort of emotion, their body language changes, their posture changes, their shoulders sag and radiate out to anyone who is watching or nearby.

Lost in his thoughts about Zareen from another life, Radhu completely forgot for a few seconds that three bright kids were next to him and who whose eyes were all trained on him.

It was the youngest, Appu who feeling sad seeing their new master sir sad, whispered in Meena's ear ' Master sir is doing what our big master sir used to do under that tree called " Shinogai" morning and evening. Meena nodded but was confused and lost as what to do or how to ask an elder if they were doing okay.

But, Appu and Pappu had no such qualms for even though it had been a short while since they had become friends with Radhu, he had become the centre of the world for with him and with him around " The Flock" they felt safe, protected and comforted.

Both the kids gently took Radhu's left and right fingers in theirs and when he looked down, they looked up at him and smiled and said ' please master sir, don't be sad for it hurts badly and makes us also sad.'

Radhu went to his knees on the carpeted floor and with a bright smile, denied that he was sad, ' I am okay, just a bit of dust went into my eyes. That's it.'

But, the three did not believe him and instead threw their arms around him and held him and Radhu held them back in his arms.

Kavita saw them hugging each other and thought ' God, my cursed luck and fate. I finally meet a man who is interesting and who has taken over my mind and haunts my sleep and it turns out that he is married and has three beautiful children.'

Her mind said no. Her heart said yes, and her feet listened to her heart and slowly walked her towards Radhu and the kids.

Seeing her come towards him, Radhu stood up and smiled at her and Kavita thought she would melt and sink into the ground and yet somehow she managed to make it and said, ' I am sorry for being rude and assuming that...'

' Assuming what, Kavita?'

Meena, Appu and Pappu all folded their hands across their chests and calmly looked at both the adults while the adults themselves stood looking out of sorts and lost for words.
