Kannan to Start Delly Belly Remake

The poor showing of 'Vandhaan Vendraan' has not dampened the spirits of director Kannan. The filmmaker is now working on his next venture with vim and vigour, and we have details about it. He will bring to Tamil the Bollywood blockbuster 'Delhi Belly'.

Assisting Kannan in this attempt of him is John Mahendran, who wielded the megaphone for Vijay-Genelia D' Souza starrer 'Sachein'. If sources are to be believed, John is busy penning dialogues at a resort in Puducherry, in association with Kannan.

A popular face is expected to play the protagonist in the Tamil remake of Delhi Belly, which is to be produced by a leading company. While some say it is going to be STR, there are others who say that it is a totally different person, who would give a surprise to the audience.

A hunt is on for the heroine role too. "Kannan wants to keep matters related to his next venture under wraps until things take a final shape. Everything related to the project will be made clear in a week or too," say circles close to the development.
