I too am surprised to see children from non Arabic countries try to memorise Quraan without knowing the meanings. Memorising Quraan puts the muslim above other muslims in life and after life, and assures that he will get the highest place in jannat (heavens) . If you see Mahid was teaching boys the meanings and the rules of Islam. So both memorising, and learning the meanings go hand in hand. Mahid's cousin and her parents are from those ppl who don't have real faith.. they envy others, which by the way is natural among ppl. If all muslims become good after learning their religion, you won't find muslims fighting eachother.

That would apply to all religions of the world. Then our elders are surprise when some believe skeptics or or cynical regarding religion. We have priests, pastors, pandits, and Imam committing evil crimes in the name of religion. Gosh don’t get me started on politicians

Yes. It is very disturbing. Coz religions focus on the betterment of humans. So when we see some imams, priests , pastors and pandints commit crimes it shocks some of the believers. Some prefer atheism .. but it is not the solution. Each person is responsible of himself, and his choices.. those who commit crimes don't represent their faiths.

Of course , to add to Parvez' crimes he should also abandon his daughter, coz he hates girls and only wants boys. Strange, coz it is only the second girl. It is not like he had 4 or more girls.

Ep 12 Dec :

Another beautiful episode which started with Mahid stopping Seher from breaking the window. There was a cute moment between them, in which Mahid was stunned by Seher's closeness to him.

Another beautiful scene between Kausar and Fareed.. when she styled Amal's hair, and Fareed felt happy when she agreed to work for him, and held her hands.

Mahid gets scared of red colour, because it reminds him of his mother, and became hysterical.. Seher went after him..and saw him mourning on his mother's grave.

the childhood scene was edited in a average way, the way his mother committed suicide lolbut still that doesn't give full justification as to why mahid developed the regressive thoughts from, most likely maybe this grooming came after his mother's demise, probably??

coming to mahid, his character arc feels monotonous..no development..

no cluesince it seems like he was happy kiddo in the flashbacks and very much attached to his mother.

But his character development for now seems stagnated.

I’m actually excited about Mahid’s character development..In scenes like the one where the banker woman is punished or when the little girl approaches him saying she wants to read books..you can clearly see that his views differ from the rest of his family. When he says the woman was wrong to apply for the job, there’s a noticeable hesitation..It kinda feels like years of conditioning by the patriarchs in his family have brainwashed him to the point where he doesn’t even recognize his own feelings..

I think Seher will initially help him heal from his childhood trauma and that will slowly open his heart..Through her, he’ll begin to understand how wrong it was to deny women their basic rights.. It’s going to be exciting to watch him support Seher’s dreams, standing up to his family and going against all odds..Its going to be one heck of a journey..only if the makers play their cards right.😭🤞

And I read somewhere that in og mahid 's father is gonna be interested in seher/ in future amaal would fall for mahid..Please I'm hoping against hope that the makers dont copy that shit here..Pls let this show remain sane..Its almost after 10 years, that Im feeling excited about an itv show😭

Here Mahid has no father.. so maybe his uncle will be the one who will play that role.

It is an Indian show so we have to be prepared for all kinds of twists. However sister rivalry isn't welcome from my side.

It will be interesting if makers keep this show sane, but TRPs and channel pressure may force them to take drastic steps.
