I want to know if you ever wondered why Barkha Dutt doesn't do We The People for free or asked journalists why they don't do all their investigations and reporting for free, why they get salaries for making documentaries on every issue, why do sociologists get salaries for their research, why don't doctors give medicines and treatment for for free, why don't teachers teach for free, why don't lawyers fight their cases for free - since it's all their moral duty to serve people?😃

Why do army men get salaries and so many benefits yaar? It's their duty to serve country and protect it! Army men are also making money on people's fear of threat to their security - going by logic mooted by Curious! Doctors are making money on our physical vulnerabilities. Psychologists make money by cashing on our mental vulnerabilities - why the hell do they not do their work for free?🤪

Its funny how the topic maker is only focusing on Amir pay...who cares how much he is getting just look at the reality he is bringing out. He is bringing out Truths of people who are suffering injustice through out India. Just Watch the show, and look at the real life stories rather than thinking about Amir's pay.

If you can't take his pay off your head, then please leave the forum or stop watching the show, you don't have to create chaos over here as this topic is sensitive to many people.

I am so surprised by so many peoples reaction over how much amir khan gets paid to do this show..

What is a bigger issue here?? How much amir gets paid or the fact that these huge problems like female foeticide exists in Indian society???

If someone is getting paid so much just so that through his name and fame, he can bring awareness amongst the common public then what is wrong with that??

Amitabh bachchan and salman khan get paid crores of rupees to do game shows but they are never questioned about their pay .. then why question amir?? Atleast after making all tht payment, something gud is coming out of it..

Some people say they will stop watching this show just because it is against their principles tht amir khan is taking so much money to raise these issues..

What are your principles?? Are you so narrow minded that you will choose to ignore a bigger issue that affects everyone in the country just because the host is getting paid a certain amount of money???

If we can watch game shows where hosts earn just as much money, why cant we watch this show ?? How does it affect our principles?? If anything, this show sheds light on things that actually matter.. In game shows some ppl win, some ppl lose.. Here everyone wins if they become aware and choose to follow the right path..

Why not look at a bigger picture?? Paying a famous guy just 3 crore rs per episode can make such a huge difference to indian society then why not do it.. whats wrong with it.. Its a very small price to pay if it changes things for better..

actually its Amir's own production house that is paying for the making of this show...i believe as per the credits...so that wage might as well be symbolic...and it may very well be used to be put back into the production house to keep making more epis...i am assuming here...but do you have a source from where you got to know his salarie for the show?

aamir khan is popular with the masses and if he hosts this show then more people can connect with him , he is not a social worker who would do so much effort and waste his precious time for free just look at the motive behind the show this type of show was never made this is far better than stupid comedy shows and game shows . i love this show
