You are shocked at his renumeration beacause sorry to say u dont desrve to earn that much .. but aamir has put his self worth at 3 crores... for the one hour of the show and all the work behind it that he must have done. Who says people will not make money out of it all sponsors all channels will mak emoney .. so why not Aamir .. hazaron crore ke ghotale karte hain log and janta sits silent. One person stands up to cleanse the society be it Anna or Aamir ... we have moral police ready to tear them apart.

This anger is not towards the maker of this topic ..but against societies way of thinking !

Social worker is not God .. he has a home to run .. and kids to feed and a lifestyle to maintain .

Excuse You!!! 'Indian Way of thinking!!!!!!!!' , 'Low self worth!!!!!!' where is all this coming from???

Charity is part of a lot of cultures world wide. I am an Indian living in America for over 20 years. I am exposed to many many cultures everyday in my life. I am amazed at the lengths people go to help out others. I have seen terrorist attacks when people came together and did whatever they can to help the society.
I do not know if I deserve to make 3 Crores per episode or not but for sure I do not make it so let's not talk about me. Talk about the rich people like 'Bill and Melinda Gates' one of the biggest foundations in the world. They are doing charity and still are maintaining the lifestyle. Who says that doing a charity for a good cause would deplete the bank accounts and will bring them on the road. If this is the case then for sure do not do it.

Many people have many exceptions to do this (NDOs Oprah show etc). I would only say that so many wrongs do not make it right. What is wrong should be called out as wrong no matter who does it or what is the reason behind it. When we start accepting things as they are because everybody else is doing it then how will any change come about.

I still believe that making money on behalf of somebody's sorrows (even if they eventually get benefited by it or how many other people are doing it) is wrong and I am sticking to my story no matter what.

if you do then I dont even wanna argue with you on this point.

For me it's an initiative to inform the masses and call them to action ,

I would say shows like NDTV bid debate and all other debate shows I have seen till date including Smriti Irani's show that used to come long back ...were about milking peoples sorrow , not this one .

I agree many people have done it and are doing it but as stated before so many wrongs do not make it right and at some point we must raise our voice.

He is the producer of the Show and he is earning much more. The show is for good cause and like he said in the promos even if 10 percent change their thinking its a Win-Win situation. People do not realise their mistakes and if this show makes them aware of the evil habits in the society than y not.

For Aamir's earning, he is a professional and he is earning for the hard work he has put in the show, if you think he is cheating than this show is probably not for you. its the people who makes the show hit or flop, if nobody is watching this show than he would not earn that much money. I think its fair for him to charge whatever he feels right for him

when all sponsors are gonna make money why not Aamir.

Reliance charity is gonna donate an amount equal to people's donation ...but Aamir Khan is not a 1000 cr group .. he has no charitable foundation . he is a self employed person .

You are again back to lifestyle and all that. I am saying doing somethings for free will not change it terribly for him.

The very definition of social work is that it should be selfless. Whenever there is money aspect to it it becomes a business more than social work. I am sorry you are not getting my point. Making money for people's sorrow is wron. Once again this is my opinion and nothing will change it.

so what if he is getting paid that amount it is his job. but why are you forgetting that by doing this he is supporting so many good causes . if it is just making money he could have bought the IPL team just like SRK. he know he has a very huge fan following if he will say something people will not only listen but will take some action for that cause I will really appreciate celebrities like him those who along making money for them self are doing good for the country and the society rather than just making money for them.

So instead of crying over Aamir's paycheck and trying to bad mouth in a forum where no one thinks his paycheck is of any importance, I wud suggest u to watch some other celeb shows that don't hurt ur ideals :)

whatever it may be..he is the one who showed the courage and interest for making this kind of a show just for making an awareness in the peoples of india...and so for making a change in the current situation of our nation...i think its not that much easy for making such revolution..

Did you see news about impact of Satyamev Jayate after just ONE episode? NO!

All you are harping on is his fees and brand it as a way to make money on others' sorrows!🤢

We have highlighted so many times how he and his team worked on the show, how much efforts and money were spent on this show! And you know even STAR frankly said that they may not recover their investment on the show.

It is the message and reach of the show that matters. It is indeed making an impact!

Other shows only talked and left off. Satyamev Jayate is not only making real life impact but also raising funds for orgs working on the issues!

Still you want to IGNORE this fact and only make everyone believe that the show is for making money and is NO WAY giving back to society!!

My dear people have many notions on how social work should be done. Some even criticised Team Anna and questioned why they have a media team and whole managing unit if they are just a bunch of genuine social reformers.

People themselves DO NOTHING but question everyone and give gyan on how something should be done!

I would have bashed Aamir if he or STAR and all brands associated with SMJ were only making money themselves but I have no problem with them if they are also donating money to NGOs!

And if you talk of money darling, then Aamir could have made WAY MORE money by making a movie on female foeticide with some A list actress, including share in profits than what he will make from SMJ!

You have nothing but agenda on your mind - because you DO NOT respond to info we give on SMJ's giving back to society. You IGNORE news about its real life impact. Just parroting the money part!
