Shocked to find out Amir Khan's wage for this show - Page 2

I do apologize for not spelling Aamir's name correctly.You got me there.

Trust me I have no hidden agenda. I have been part of this forum forever and almost only right when I must. I am not against salaries but they should be reasonable. 3 Crores was a number that completely threw me off. We expect more from people like Aamir Khan who dare to touch the such sensitive subjects. With that kind of image if it gets down to money war with other actors then that seems extremely odd. He needs to prove himself to be a class beyond compare and in my opinion he will only be able to do it of he let's go the money aspect once in a while.

My comment would have been the same if it was Aamir or anybody else. Making profits for such a nice cause just seems very inappropriate and I can not come in terms with that.

I agree that there are scams with NGOs. This is one of the reasons I do not do much donations to organizations but instead reach out to individuals with need so I know my money is utilized.
I have nothing against Aamir. He has given great hits. It was a proud moment to see him in Oscars.

If I will try to watch this show I will only be thinking on how much money he is making and will not be able to get into the feel of this show and will do injustice to the show and the ideas behind it. I still wish this show was made with a selfless motto.

You still don't wish to focus on the money they are trying to GENERATE for social causes via SMS, donations and FREE online clicks!

I am against celebrities hosting these shows and making a ton of money with just bringing up people's sorrows. Amir Khan trying to look like a patriot and trying to do something nice for the country is just anothe celeb trying to make money.3 Crores per episode this is insane. The celebs like him who are so blessed with name, fame and fortune should come forward and make these shows for no wage in fact I think they should spend their own money promoting these cause.

As soon as I found that Amir Khan is getting this much money I am done watching this show. Just very against my principles. He is an actor. His tears seem fake. End of it I am sure he is only after his paycheck. I am not contributing my time or money into his show that goes towards his paycheck.

Please do not get me wrong. I am not agaist Celbes making money. Just not for this cause. Imagine how many victims can be helped with this amount of money every week. My heart truly goes out to all the Victims that are part of this show or not and do pray that the justice is done to every single one of them.

I watch Crime Patrol on Sony every week which also brings up such real life cases. It is great for awareness but alas no Amir Khan is hosting is so I am not sure if it is getting that kind of attention.

Power to the voice of commoners and happiness to all.

Once again I have nothing against celebrities making money. What Salman Khan charges for Dus ka Dum or AMitabh for KBC is between them and channels. It is only the money making behind such a great cause is my problem.

If it is a completely non profit show then I am totally fine but if this is not true then I have a concern Also, people like Amir Khan should take the high road and do things for the society without attaching the money value to it.

Amir khan ig getting 2-3 carors because he deserves it.

Just look at the intention of the show rather than how much they earn. I mean he is producing this show, and if he wanted money...he would have taken everything that this show gives him (and trust me it would be more than 3 crore) but here he is just taking 3 crore and the money he gets from the show, he is going to give it to the charity, the organization that supports the cause of each episode. Isn't that enough for you? And besides why does it even matter how much he makes and the show makes? As long as the intention behind it is right, I am going to watch it.

I am sorry but its a typical Indian way of thinking , we are told we have low self worth so we should not ask for our apt renumeration and if we get excess we shd give in charity ..
