He is the producer of the show and is taking a good salary. So why crib ?

If show tanks then its his loss entirely.How does it matter whether he wants 3 crores or 10 crores.

I understand that hearing the salary figure many people will be shocked but we need to know that he is not just appearing for the rehearsal and making of the actual episode. Many people have already mentioned the time and money spent on researching, salaries of big team, travel expenses etc. He has risked 2 years of his career.

We need to understand that he too has to earn living. Being a celebrity and public figure he has to spend a lot. Unlike politicians celebrities and their families do not get z security, air travel and all kind of facilities by spending tax payers' money, they have to spend their hard earned money for all these expenses that come with being a star and a public figure.

Regarding fake tears and acting: He is an actor, an artist. Isnt it great that he is using his art, his acting skills to leave a lasting impact on peoples mind. If his acting on this show and whatever way he chose to make people aware is working, If it helps a child to make that phone call to come out of an abusive situation, if it helps a parent to prevent any such thing from happening to their kid, if it encourages a youngster to not give in to the pressure for marrying into a greedy family, if it shows us the youngsters the ugly side of big fat wedding we dream of and so on ... then i have nothing but respect for his fake tears and acting.

moreover , even if he is taking/earning so much by this show, show's positive impact on people or society can not be compared to any amount of money...

Both of you have nailed the point...👍🏼By the way let me add, he has also postponeded his film talash...so that he can exclusively focus on SMJ...and I think all of us are smart enough to know that a film project is far more commercially lucrative than a tv series...

Please try to understand that we all are very different people, with different thinking and life experiences so please be patient and try to understand each others viewpoint and if you do not agree with each other try to keep your point in front of others politely.

There is still one thing common in all of us that we are genuinely interested in the problems our society is facing. Even if someone is doubting Aamir's intentions they too in a way are nice people as they are fearing that is it going to make real impact or is it Aamir's sincere effort to make people aware and help solve problems or is it just another show to make money?

I think we need to understand all those who are doubting his intentions behind the show. We Indians have been always cheated by people we trust and look upto to solve our problems so its natural that someone can think that all these efforts Aamir is putting in are too good to be true.

So please be nice to each other :)

1st of all.. do u know how much does it cost to host an episode????
2nd u said he is doing it for fame and etc?? have u ever seen aamir at award or even taking an award for movies and anything.. if he was looking for fame i m sure he can do anything tht can get him 10x fame then this.. by doing this he has made enemies..do u think tht people tht he is exposing r gonna like him??

and u said the main thing u hate is tht aamir is big and rich person and he shoudnt take money.?? well have u ever done something for free for anyone.. or have you donated more then u make?? and if aamir wanted more money i m sure tht any channel would be happy to offer him 5carod if he even asked.. this show is way better then all the other shows i see on tv.. this is wht we should call a REALITY SHOW..

3rd. do u think its easy for guy like aamir to make time for show where is not even making bck money tht he put in??
4th. do u think its worth watching it..do u think its bringing awareness to people and the government.??? then i guess that 3carords r worth it..

Evn i shockd aftr hearing his salary.. Al da round he is talking about docs.. Bt wat is ths shw up to.. If it ws jst a shw abt awarnes thn y to tk money.. Arnt thy doing al these things jst to TRPs.. Showing shw truth, ppl gtn attachd to thr tv set, and thy make al da profits frm TRPs..
At sme point yes da show is gud.. Bt wat is da use of it if smebdy is being paid so much.. Al da emotional dramas thy r doing r jst fr money.. Y dnt thy aware ppl abt biggr coruptns that our gov does al da tym.. Tht awareness is much mre nessecary i guess.
