Do you know? Some years ago, Aamir Khan was given a special award by I-T department for paying taxes regularly! And he was also taken in I-T department's special film to raise awareness on paying taxes properly! Aamir makes 100 crores from social causes?🤣 How come 3 crores per episode for this show of 13 episodes, makes it 100 crores per year? I thought it amounted to Rs. 39 crores!😆 🤪
All other campaigns Aamir does for social causes are on an honorary basis. He never charges for them. Unlike a trying to make comeback actress, who demanded 9 crores to be ambassador of Maharashtra state alone!😃
Barkha Dutt also makes money if not as much as Mr. Khan.She also gets awards for so-called fearless journalism. Why not make her accountable?
His personal motive?👏 What motive have you sensed which no one else could get, Ms. Sherlock Holmes?😉
Why are you asking him to deploy a task force my dear? Is that his job or government's? Inspired by his show, administration at some places has started task forces. A good thing. BTW, why not ask Barkha or Richa and all big bosses at CNN-IBN or NDTV how much of their money goes into starting task force or catching criminals?🤣🤡

Wait a minute...so you are telling me that you are not willing to watch this show only because the actor is getting paid. So you rather watch other shows where actors also get paid and have no social message, u rather support that. But you won't watch this show again because its "entertainment" even though it has a social message that is trying to use "media" as a portal to change the social norm, or society's view points that are totally backwards?????? So u rather support "useless" entertainment and rise their TRPs and let them run for years and years marriage after marriage, generation after generation, separation and tear after tear. But not support a "effort" to change television and society? 👏 Take a bow my friend take a bow, what perfect common sense you have. All I can do is laugh...😆

P.s. Not saying regular drama is bad or anything...but the theory of not watching this show only cause he is getting paid makes no sense. Oprah is the richest TV talk show host, that has done the same type of work in many ways. Her name, fame and money comes from that show. You must remember that many of these actors also do a lot of charity work and you need money to donate!

I completely agree that this post is going on for far too long. Its sad to see that two of the most popular topics are discussions about Aamir's wage and how he is just faking it and not about any of the actual topics discussed on SMJ.

Honestly, who cares how much Aamir is earning or gaining from this??? Or if he is just faking and doesn't really care about the issues. Yes, I agree that it would be ideal to have a show where there is no profit and ulterior motives and which is completely focused in reforming society. But, one of the very meanings of the word 'ideal' is: 'existing only in the imagination; desirable or perfect but not likely to become a reality' (This is a quote from the New Oxford American Dictionary).

Fact is, we as humans are not perfect. Everyone has their faults. If Aamir wants to earn money and gain popularity while dealing with social issues then let him do so. But, If u must point out his faults, take a look at the mirror also.

Why be so single track minded??? There are many aspects to a situation. The bigger picture to every story. We need to look at the issues and try to do what we can to deal with them, since they are bigger and more imp than Aamir or anything else. And if Aamir's tears are bothering you, then do what I do. Completely ignore his 'hmm' and 'tsk, tsk' and tears as white noise. I find them very annoying as well, so, I try to think of his slightly OTT reactions as the long ads u must suffer through while watching ur fav show or a website. They exist and you have to deal with it because while they are very annoying and tiresome, they do earn a lot of money. N money no matter what, is an integral part of our life.

So, watch the show for the content and nothing else. Plus, I'm sure that while Aamir's tears may have been fake, the tears of the people who came on the show were not.

hey every1.. why making so much noise about who earns how much and from what.. if u have problem.. then leave the country too.. bcoz ministers are earning damn much and dat too from wrong ways.. m not here to blame anybody.. and yeahhh listen.. usi ki production house ka show h .. to apne house se kitne leta h.. vo tumhe kya krrrna h ... dat diff thing that everything in the show is predictable and known stuffs.. but i wud seriously say the song at the end is really awesome
