That famous song in 'Taare Zameen Par' should be re-written like this expressly for this show.
Narmada is the most oblivious mother I've ever seen :| Most mothers I know, including my own Mother India, can tell immediately if her child is in pain or hurt or angry or hungry or happy or or impatient or whatever...
But Narmada can't see ANYTHING beyond her own grief. It is true that the other mothers are also completely clueless about the child they supposedly love more than life itself. But in at least one scene in one of the earlier episodes, Narmada has said in her mind that "Main Vihaan ki rag rag se vaakif hoon. Janam diya hain oose maine." She is so "vaakif with his rag rag" that she believes he is capable of supporting Aarushi in filing the complaint, and to completely overlook his shock and grief on seeing her in prison?? :|
Sigh! Today's episode was also full of tears and heartbreaking Arhaan scenes and awesome performances. Since yesterday's episode, I've been feeling more miserable for Aarushi than Vihaan. Now I just hope Vihaan goes back to his demented mommies ka home tomorrow š„±
