HI all,

This is my second topic on this forum - you all are so welcoming!

So I wanted to make a topic on Daadi Ma's secret or her reservation/hesitation/reluctance with Vihaan getting married.

Shall we speculate what the reasons for resistance can be?

1) Vihaan getting married will create some kind of legal issue with property/business - there could be some track of how with the legal arrangements after Vihaan's dad left them - Vihaan getting married would remove him/reduce his share? So DaadiMa wants to protect the family?

2) Superstition - there are no surviving male members of this family minus Vihaan's biological dad who lives away from them. Perhaps DaadiMa had some pundit tell her that Vihaan's marriage would result in Vihaan's death?

Those are the 2 things that come to mind - it is interesting though as at the beginning of the series DaadiMa didn't seem THAT against Vihaan's wedding - she would just get annoyed at all the bickering between the mothers.

Her resistance came about more recently - so I don't think its specific to a person as in she's not biased towards Arushi or any prospective bride - I'm wondering what the connection is.

Again An Interesting Topic :-) I Love Reading Your Posts/Views :-):-)

Well She Was Against Vihaan's Marriage From The 1st Epi Itself But Yeah Her Fear Regarding Vihaan's Marriage Increased With Each Episodes :-(

I Dont Think She Cares That Much About Properties And All, For Her Nothing Is More Important Then Her Family Specialy Vihaan :-)

So The Hidden Reason Is Something Related Vihaan On A Personal Level For Sure :-(

We Know She Is In Contact With A Pandit And She Follows His Words

So Yes May Be Vihaan Has Some Problem In His Kundli But I Am Not Sure If Its His Death I Mean May Be Its Something Else Like Unsuccessful Marriage or Vihaan Leaving The Family

Ya, I didn't think DaadiMa was all that concerned about money or prejudiced against people of a lower social standing.

Her reservation with Vihaan getting married is on a personal level for sure.

You raise a good point - either she fears that something will happen to Vihaan or Vihaan's marriage won't work out, he'll leave them etc...

nice topic .:) and i think your second option may be correct ..i think dadi has fear of unsuccessful marriage of their family means no male member is present and as u all said pandit may told her something that we dont know.

Hmmm...I agree with you. She didn't seem against his marriage at the start. She just looked vvv irritated with the moms. So I initally thought she is just afraid that marriages in the family are doomed or that Vihaan will also leave the house like his dad and chacha. Then that panditji ka talk happened and I started wondering if there is something more to it 😕 But when that Panditji had come home to see Vihaan's kundali, he hadn't seemed worried or tense in any way. He had happily predicted that Vihaan's wife would prove to be lucky or something for the whole family. So now I'm back to thinking that she is just worried that Vihaan and Aarushi's marriage will also be unsuccessful 😕😆
