Aarushi was prepraring for mother's welcome with her mother but she had to leave for office for some work, she ask to come early n help her with work, her mom seems tensed bcoz of prahlad n girish, dadu came n says he had a solution, he gave mili some money n ask to keep it near his pillow, n he starts counting as he reached 9, prahlad came with an excuse that he has to go out with girish, dadu ask him to go n dn't come early, aarushi n her mom smiles at dadu's trick, dadu says he knows his son very well.
Next scene, aarushi was talking to vihaan, she was nervous n he was teasing her, he then calm her down n assures that everything gonna be fine. Soon aarushi leaves n on his way she met the same boy, who her father had claimed had demanded dowry when they came to meet her, while talking he told aarushi about prahlad's deeds of claming dowry from boys' family, aarushi didn't believe it n leaves.
Next scene, mother India was doing the preps n prahlad return n was all drunken, he starts abusing her, she ask him to not do it as guest can arrive at any moment, dadu too try to stop him but he goes violent, at the same time mothers arrives n saw the scene, they were shocked, prahlad n girish recognize them n starts blabbering stuff about aarushi, he ask for dowry n insults them, they says that if they knows the girl is from this family they wouldn't have came, dadu n mother india tries to stop him n handle the situation but he was too much, dadu slaps him, bua maa taunts that if he has given this slap before he wouldn't be like this, he then insults them n bua maa slaps him n leaves.
Next scenes, aarushi returns, she was nervous n excited, but as she entered shocked to see the condition of the house, she thought may be gattu did this but dadu make her face the reality about prahlad n break her heart n dreams of getting married, she was shattered.
Other side, mothers scold saarthi for sending them to such a house n selecting a girl from that house n says that they wouldn't let this girl to be vihaan's, vihaan overhear it n was shocked.
Precap: Vihaan ask aarushi to not worry as he'll handle everything but aarushi ask him to stop.
