Vihaan's house - The girl's mother is embarrassed that the mothers overheard Diya expressing her terror. She explains that her daughter is simply frightened and assures the mothers that Diya respects elders and has the ability to maintain peace in the house. The mothers, instead of getting offended, support Diya and say that they can fully understand the girl's fears. Diya's mother smiles and prompts her daughter to accept the proposal and Diya nods very hesitantly
Aarushi's house - Aarushi is looking out the window, looking sad. Her mother enters the room and approaches her. Aarushi immediately changes her expression and tries to look very cheerful. But her mother is not fooled by her act. Eventually, Aarushi gives up the pretense and she hugs her mother. Her hurt comes out at last and tears flow down her cheeks.
Vihaan's house- The mothers are giving Diya the itinerary for her future life 😆 Each tells her about the days that VIhan is allocated to them 😆. And they argue among themselves whether she will cook and do pooja and exercise or go to office and so on and so forth. Diya looks pretty horrified by now 😆
Aarushi's home - Aarushi's dad - Prahlad - comes home and tells his wife that she must cook food only after he reaches home. The grandfather sarcastically asks Aarushi's mom to repair the bulb in the bathroom because Prahalad will need to find his way to the bathroom to vomit after he comes home drunk. They have a short argument.
Vihaan's home- While the mothers are fussing over Diya, her parents go and talk to Daadi maa. They say they want to talk to her alone. In her room, they say that they have never seen such a situation in which a boy has seven mothers. DIya's mother says that she was married into a joint family but there is a stark difference in being in a joint family and in having seven mothers-in-law. She impulsively asks Daadi maa how she manages to put up with the fights and tensions in the house, and then hurriedly apologises for the remark. She asks Daadi maa not to take offence. But Daadi maa coldly says that she has already gotten offended. Not because the mother expressed her fears but because the lady simply assumed that there is no love and peace in this house. Daadi maa says that they are a very loving, tight-knit and proud family. She elaborates that each woman in the house has undergone a lot of pain and trauma in their individual lives, and they have emerged stronger and that they are very happy and content in the world they have created together, irrespective of the opinions of the outside world.

Tai maa's husband has passed away.
Chachi maa's husband abandoned her and took up Sanyas.
Narmada (Vihaan's mother) also was abandoned by her husband, who is now settled in Canada and living comfortably with a new family.
Narmada's sister - Neelima aka Maasi maa - came to support Narmada during the difficult time. Since their parents had passed away, Daadi maa found a suitable guy for Neelima and got her married on a grand scale. But in the hall itself, they learnt that the groom was a conman who had gotten married multiple times to get dowry. Daadi maa brought Neelima back home and the conman was sent to jail.
Bua maa's husband inflicted a lot of pain and trauma on her. The husband's brutality was such that Bua maa's child died in her womb. And because of everything she endured, her heart is full of bitterness today.
Minnie maa decided never to get married after seeing the failed marriages in the family. She is very hot tempered but she never gets angry with Vihaan.
In the hall - The mothers are still deciding on the future course of Diya's life😆, and battles of words frequently erupt between the women. Narmada is very worried.
In Daadi maa's room - Diya's mother expresses sympathy on hearing the stories. Daadi maa instantly tells her that the women in the family don't need anyone's pity. They are strong and independent and they love and respect each other a lot. Daadi maa asks if Diya has the ability to manage all these relationships.
In the hall - the girl's parents agree to the wedding but say that the girl's decision will be final. They say that after Diya meets Vihaan, they'll go home and then let the Vatsals know their decision later in the day.
Vihaan comes home and meets the girl and her family. Daadi maa asks him to talk to the girl in private and arrive at a decision.
Aarushi's home - Aarushi's mother and dadaji are talking. The mother says she wants to take Aarushi's horoscope to an astrologer to find out if there are any planetary problems because of which Aarushi's marriage isn't getting fixed. Dadaji says the only hurdles in Aarushi's marriage are her father and brother. He says that Prahlad only wants money to drink and gamble and he doesn't care about anything else.
Vihaan's house - In the lawn, Diya has an outburst and criticises the mothers. Vihaan also gets very angry and tells her she cannot talk about mothers in that manner. He asks her to go and learn some manners first. But he calms down soon and says that he has gotten the habit of getting angry easily from Minnie maa, and the habit of calming down soon from Narmada. He explains how he has imbibed traits from all of them. And that his seven mothers complete him. He can understand Diya's state and says that he hopes they both find a match that is best for them.
Diya taunts him. She tells him he doesn't have any say in the matter of his marriage and that his mothers will make the decision for him. She says no girl will ever agree to marry him and enter a household of seven mothers-in-law. She walks back into the house and the screen freezes on Vihaan's face.
