CHAPTER 11
That afternoon shocked everyone. Really shocked every single one in the college. All through the walls of the college was posters. Posters with sullied comments about Roli and Sid. MIDNIGHT ROMANCE, LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?', ENEMIES IN DAYLIGHT, LOVEBIRDS AT NIGHT'. The posters included the photos which showed Sid lifting up Roli to climb up the wall, how she held him behind the wall when dogs attacked them etc. The pics were edited so as that it felt that Sid and Roli were too intimate with each other. The whole college watched out the posters whilst some of the students passed bad comments at Roli. Roli, Anjaly and Ami were back from library when they so a crowd near the accountancy block. They went closer only to find the students staring and laughing at Roli. Roli was initially confused at the reactions but after she spotted the posters, she was more than shocked. Anjaly and Ami stared at Roli shocked. "Roli...what's this?" asked Anjaly. "Oh can't you see...It's someone's night duty...Good that we came to know at the second day itself...Well...we have to accept Siddhant's talent...well he had managed to take the new girl to the place desired in just a day..." a boy commented. Roli felt too angry. "You..." she pointed her finger at him. But the boy ended up laughing. "You can show off this anger to Siddhant...Well tell us what he gave you that you agreed to go with him in just a day?" he asked winking at her. Roli felt really sad. She had never faced this. She wanted to be strong; but unknowingly two round tears dripped off her eyes. Without waiting a second she rushed out of the crowd. "Areyy...Madam...reply and go...Let's see if we can do something to get this cute ones dancing on our orders..." the boy called out but Roli had already walked out. As for Anjaly and Ami they just looked at each other without knowing what to do.
Roli was standing beneath a banyan tree and crying her heart out. Yes, she was strong. But no girl could take such a dark question mark raised against her character. As she cried, the master brain behind all this; Simar came near her with a fake concern. "Roli..." she called. Roli looked at her with tear filled eyes. "I know what's going in your mind right now...but believe me, this is all his trick, Siddhant's...I don't know what made him to eye on you...but he did it all...I have seen...it was him and his friends who pasted all that posters there... Ya he did it...And his only motive as far as I know is to get you to his way...to use and throw you...This s probably his revenge for what you did to him this morning. "Roli was shocked. About Roli, She confirmed that it was Sid's work to humiliate her. It was his revenge for the prank in the morning!!!!How could he do this big hoax with her? It was him only, she confirmed. After all, he and his friends were the only ones who knew that matter after her. He used it against her. She was burning with anger. She hadn't expected this. She started walking towards the other block in search of Sid. Simar smiled victoriously as her plan had worked. Yeah...it was really a boon for the devils as Veeru came to the empty campus last night with one of those idiot girls who always came on his calls. It was his hideout...The empty campus was the perfect place for his illicit activities. But contrary to the other times, this time the campus wasn't empty. Veeru was startled as he heard some sound from the side of the computer lab. He spotted Roli and Sid walking towards the college gate. This literally made his eyes to come out. He wasn't expecting this. He silently followed them to know about what they were talking. To his relief they were fighting!!!He was surprised at the fact they were together at the campus at the midnight. Making him a bit jealous, Sid held Roli by her waist to help her jump the wall. .As if struck suddenly by a nasty idea, he pulled out his phone and clicked the scene. Then as they jumped off the wall, he waited for a while and jumped the wall only to find dogs following them. He was deeply happy at their plight and reached them through a short cut road. There he could see Roli leaning on Sid's hands in fear and he holding her hand. He clicked that too, though jealous at the closeness. Later as they left, he victoriously smiled and sent the pics to Simar who was fast asleep. She woke up angrily on being disturbed from her sleep, but was happy that finally she got something against Sid. She sat and edited the pics that in them Roli and Sid looked like perfect lovers. Well...after Roli's performance this morning, it was obvious that Sid would put forward something to tame Roli and she felt it the most apt time to put up the posters. She did and as she expected Roli is all upset and it seems that the girl has believed what he just said. Everything would go as per their plan today; if at all Naina will also do her work properly.
Sid was talking with his friends on the other side of the campus; they had been out all the while and haven't known all the commotion. Sid was done with his planning and was determined to execute it that evening, after college hours. But presently, Sid was surprised to see Roli near his bike. After the morning's event he wanted to do his return prank with her in no time, but he waited for the right time. But now her appearance was definitely fishy. She had planned something, he thought. "What you..." Sid's words were paused in middle as he received a tight slap over his right cheek, making him touch there involuntarily. Sid's friends were surprised by the act and an annoyed Nia came forward raising her hands on Roli. "Stop there...stop right there..." threatened Roli in a quaking voice that shocked everyone, especially Sid. She was crying. The sherni was crying. He forgot that she slapped him and genuinely asked her "Roli...what happened? Why?" "What happened? What more to happen? I thought you're good at heart ...but today I got to know that you're so low...So very low that you can play with a girl's life...Just for accomplishing your revenge..." Roli said angrily. This really infuriated Sid. How on the hell can she put such a blame on her? "Ae...Whatever you are saying, say it after hundred thoughts...Don't make a situation that you regret for it later..." he said in solemn tone. "Regret? Haan...I felt regret ...for at least thinking that I will make you my friend...I feel regret that I behaved somewhat well with such a stupid like you..." she replied all in temper. "What you're..." Raksha begun but was cut by Roli. "Can't you see that we're talking? It is the matter between Roli Dwivedi and Siddhant Bharadwaj and don't poke your nose in to this..." this made Sid angrier. He moved closer to Roli. "What are you thinking of yourself? That you're Jansi ki rani? Till now...I suffered all your pranks and right now you slapped me,...someone slapped me for the first time in my life...still I'm silent...but it doesn't mean that you're allowed to go up...How dare you talk so to my Raksha?" Sid asked in burning anger. "I slapped you and I talked so to your friend...What will you do? You can never do anything worse that what you did now...And that's enough...stop it...now on ...you're my enemy...enemy...it's not any tom and jerry game...not any little prank...but I hate you...hate you to the core...and that will be the same till the end...till the end..." Roli said. "And go...enjoy...Enjoy the result of your hard work in back of the college...go..." she muttered and walked away surprising Sid to the fullest.
