PART 17 The next update literally left Meethi's mouth open. She wasn't expecting such naughty acts from the stern and strict Siddhant Bharadwaj whom she knew. She read the update again as one reads his favorite story again. OCTOBER 18, 2011 And things have started to go out of hands. This girl Roli will run me crazy soon as my friends predict. They're fed up with the way I behave but they can't really understand the need of giving Roli some space to sit and think. But this girl is indeed not thinking,. So I decided to execute my backup plan,. Well...Our College day is three days ahead and obviously there is a lot of work pending. And we senior can't finish the work alone right? Clearly we need some volunteers and evidently being the college chairman, the duty of selection of volunteers are in my hands. It almost seemed that a thief gets the key of the treasury. Without a doubt, the first name that got enlisted in the team headed by me was Miss. Roli Dwiwedi or very soon, Mrs. Roli Siddhant Bharadwaj. Roli wasn't really pleased with the decision and I'm sure, she'd have scooted if she had a choice. But I'm not a fool to give her a choice. That Morning, I called up a meeting for the volunteers. Throwing my secret glances at Roli which were of course visible to her and which slightly had an effect on her, I continued to tell them what all must be done. And Roli was exactly mouth opened when she was told that she was to work with us five in the auditorium and not even one of her classmates was there to support her. I gestured her to close her mouth much to her anger. I loved it when she went angry. Her little nose turn cherry red that I feel like biting it... I dispersed the meeting and asked the volunteers to b in their respective duty places at 11. At 11. Roli hesitantly tiptoed to the deserted auditorium. I was there waiting for her. She was quite nervous and tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. I wish I could do it for her. "Where are the others?" she asked in a low, worried tone. "They are out...kind of very lazy...But don't worry; I won't eat up you..." I said smiling. "Please tell me what I should I do..." she said trying to divert the topic. "Well...come with me..." I said and she followed me silently. I showed her the pillars of the auditorium where lights were supposed to be hung. "Help me with the ladder and lights...Pass them when I ask you to..." she nodded obediently. Oh, this side of her character makes me fall in love with her more and more. I climbed up the ladders whilst she passed me the lights. Up in the ladder, I asked her. "Roli...Did you think further on the matter I asked you?" "I don't think there's something in it to think...I've already said my reply...' she said in a serious tone. "Why can't you say a yes Roli? That won't prove bad for you..." I said in the most promising tone. But she didn't seem to be convinced. "I told you, I can't deceive my papa..." she said."I can't deceive my Ma too...and that's why I'm compelling you..." I said making her look at me doubtfully. "Wait...I'll tell you how...as you has promised your papa to be a good girl, I have promised my mom a good daughter in law and unfortunately that's you..." she looked hopeless at my explanation. I descended halfway the ladder and leant on her body without touching her. I could feel the rose fragrance that came from her. I inhaled it making her uncomfortable. "Please come down if you're done..." she said in a worried tone. I came down and moved towards her. She gulped the lump in her throat and her eyes darted back and forth. "Please...Please...don't..." she begged. I continued my motion forward until her little frame was trapped between my hands and the wall. "What if I ask your father and get the permission to take this girl home?" her confused look suddenly turned in to a smile with a blush somewhere and it clearly told me she after all had no problem with me. I moved back, freeing her and started with the work. She too helped me. In no time, my gang was there coughing and singing to embarrass me and Roli to the core. I always tried to protect her from their teasing and she almost felt safe with me. The day passed very beautifully with her presence making my atmosphere pleasant. She was definitely moved somewhere, but still her feelings couldn't run over her love for her dad. I knew it and so decided to give her some space which my mom told me to give her. But I was crazily in love with that girl...So much that she almost seemed to be my lifeline... Meethi sighed reading the update she couldn't believe that the Siddhant who loved Roli so much in the past tried to kill her a day ago. What has gone so much wrong that perfect love story turned to a hate story? She had no answers and she knew the diary could only give her the answers.
