PART 15 The further updates in the diary for the next week was all about Sid's and his crazy gang's observations and research on Roli. Strangely, the great Siddhant Bharadwaj had no idea of meeting Roli soon. Meethi felt irritated as he and his friends dragged the confession. Finally the update on October 2nd gave her some delight. 2 OCTOBER 2011 And today being Gandhi Jayanthi was again one busy day...Shramdaan you know...The best part was that as we visited the kids in the orphanage, I met my dream girl again. She was no longer a dream now. She was busy talking to the tiny tots there in the orphanage. She looked too adorable when she sang songs for them, played with them etc. I found it the best chance to mingle with her. I headed to the place where she was sitting surrounded by kids. I pulled out some chocolates from my pocket and supplied it to the kids so as to catch their hearts. Finally I flashed a chocolate before Roli. I had known from her friends that she was damn fond of chocolates. She smiled at me and signed to give it to the kids. Before I ask, some kids caught hold of it and ran away. And the others, luckily they too followed their friends. I sat next to Roli, using the time that I got to spent with her. "Why did you give the chocolate to the kids? I brought it for you..." I said. "Actually we're here to make them happy na? I believe they need those chocolates better than me..." she said in a simple tone. I understood I can't take the good boy acting for long. I must tell her the thing in my heart. I wasn't nervous somehow. "Roli...Actually, I don't know to tell it twisted and twirled, it's just that I fell in love with you and I wish to marry you..."I said. "I expected this..." said Roli much to my surprise. "But I always have a reply for you...that is no..." she said clear cut and looking straight in to my eyes. Though this was much expected, I really felt bad at her reply. "But why? I know that you aren't committed with anyone else..then..." I asked her surprised. "It's not I'm not committed or not...But it's that why I'm in college...My papa is already struggling with his business and I'm his single expectation right now. He didn't sent me to college for falling in love and freaking out..and for me, my papa s god..I can't put off his expectations just for a boy whom I haven't known for more than 5 months...So...Hope you understand..." and she walked away. I stared at her long. My friends came and sat around me. "You said her?' asked Viren. "Ya..." I said still gazing her. "Then what did she say?" asked Aswin excited. I smiled. "She said no..." My friends were surprised. It's not that they were expecting a positive response from her, but it was that they were not expecting a smile on my face after her negative reply."Areyy..Have you gone mad?" they asked me. I indeed was. Her reply strike me hard. She was a gem of a girl. A best daughter. Her commitment and dedication towards her parents assured me that she'll be a best lover, best wife and a best daughter in law. If she had said a yes at first go, she would never have managed to get this place in my heart. My friends found it impressive and for my mom found it excellent. She said that Roli would be perfect match for me and that she is waiting for the day when Roli will enter our home as her daughter in law. And I'm waiting for the day when she'll become completely mine. Meethi was in a special mood after reading the updates. The time ticked 4 and she really felt an urge to sleep. So though not interested, she slowly drifted off to sleep.

PART 16

Meethi was up at 6. She kept the diary hidden and started coughing and sneezing loudly. Hearing the noise from Meethi's room, Sunandha, her Mom rushed in. (I don't remember Pari's mom's name because I truly hated the track wherein she was present). She was a lady of early fifties. You can call her a price tag lady. She has the habit o announcing the price of whatever stuff she brought, Greed and jealousy were like her twin sisters. She wanted the rule of Bharadwaj family in her hands and that's why she decided to marry Meethi off to Sid even after knowing the truth about him. A businesswoman more than a mother. That was the best phrase to describe her.

Sunandha entered the room totally surprised hearing the noise of coughs and sneezes from meethi's room. She knows her daughter is a kind of immune. She never gets disease that soon. So she went near her and sat. Meethi acted if she's really weak. She didn't want to go for work that day. And so she found the idea of disease for taking an off."Meethi...putthar..What happened to you?" asked Sunandha anxiously. "Nothing Mamma..Actually I got fever I guess...Feeling too tired..." she said in quite tired tone. Sunandha touched her forehead to see if temperature was there. She couldn't sense any such and her eyebrows furrowed up. Meethi guessed her mindset and started coughing even more. "I guess, I got cold Mamma...That's why I'm feeling tired..Well...I can't go for work today..You please inform Sid...Okay?' She said and lied don on the bed again. "Okay Putthar...But I'll call the doctor...let him check you...We can't trust the present day disease. They can be fatal after all...' Sunandha suggested much to Meethi's tension. "No Mamma, There's no need of it...All I need is some rest...And please do take care that no one enter this room unnecessarily...You know this Bharadwaj family irritates me as and when..." Meethi blamed Bharadwaj family because she knew her mom thoroughly enjoyed it. A smile crept over Sunandha's face as her daughter stared to come in her line. "Okay...You don't worry..your Mamma is here na..I won't let anyone disturb you..." she said and kissed on Meethi's forehead. Meethi forced a smile on her face. "I'll send you some milk...' said Sunandha. "No Mamma...I'll come and have food when I feel like having..Right now I need some rest...So please...' said Meethi all irritated. "Okay, then you take rest..." said Sunandha before she finally left. Meethi sighed in relief and closed the door. Then she rushed to her bed so as to read the rest of the diary.

She began again. The following updates said how Sid watched Roli silently without disturbing her. Roli was still the same. She acted as if a creature named Siddhant was absent in her planet. Sid's friends were irritated by his carefree attitude. They were not the ones who believed in this Gandhian movement.

Meethi too felt it really bad from Siddhant's side to be silent. But even she too wasn't expecting the plan that was in his mind.

PART 17 The next update literally left Meethi's mouth open. She wasn't expecting such naughty acts from the stern and strict Siddhant Bharadwaj whom she knew. She read the update again as one reads his favorite story again. OCTOBER 18, 2011 And things have started to go out of hands. This girl Roli will run me crazy soon as my friends predict. They're fed up with the way I behave but they can't really understand the need of giving Roli some space to sit and think. But this girl is indeed not thinking,. So I decided to execute my backup plan,. Well...Our College day is three days ahead and obviously there is a lot of work pending. And we senior can't finish the work alone right? Clearly we need some volunteers and evidently being the college chairman, the duty of selection of volunteers are in my hands. It almost seemed that a thief gets the key of the treasury. Without a doubt, the first name that got enlisted in the team headed by me was Miss. Roli Dwiwedi or very soon, Mrs. Roli Siddhant Bharadwaj. Roli wasn't really pleased with the decision and I'm sure, she'd have scooted if she had a choice. But I'm not a fool to give her a choice. That Morning, I called up a meeting for the volunteers. Throwing my secret glances at Roli which were of course visible to her and which slightly had an effect on her, I continued to tell them what all must be done. And Roli was exactly mouth opened when she was told that she was to work with us five in the auditorium and not even one of her classmates was there to support her. I gestured her to close her mouth much to her anger. I loved it when she went angry. Her little nose turn cherry red that I feel like biting it... I dispersed the meeting and asked the volunteers to b in their respective duty places at 11. At 11. Roli hesitantly tiptoed to the deserted auditorium. I was there waiting for her. She was quite nervous and tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. I wish I could do it for her. "Where are the others?" she asked in a low, worried tone. "They are out...kind of very lazy...But don't worry; I won't eat up you..." I said smiling. "Please tell me what I should I do..." she said trying to divert the topic. "Well...come with me..." I said and she followed me silently. I showed her the pillars of the auditorium where lights were supposed to be hung. "Help me with the ladder and lights...Pass them when I ask you to..." she nodded obediently. Oh, this side of her character makes me fall in love with her more and more. I climbed up the ladders whilst she passed me the lights. Up in the ladder, I asked her. "Roli...Did you think further on the matter I asked you?" "I don't think there's something in it to think...I've already said my reply...' she said in a serious tone. "Why can't you say a yes Roli? That won't prove bad for you..." I said in the most promising tone. But she didn't seem to be convinced. "I told you, I can't deceive my papa..." she said."I can't deceive my Ma too...and that's why I'm compelling you..." I said making her look at me doubtfully. "Wait...I'll tell you how...as you has promised your papa to be a good girl, I have promised my mom a good daughter in law and unfortunately that's you..." she looked hopeless at my explanation. I descended halfway the ladder and leant on her body without touching her. I could feel the rose fragrance that came from her. I inhaled it making her uncomfortable. "Please come down if you're done..." she said in a worried tone. I came down and moved towards her. She gulped the lump in her throat and her eyes darted back and forth. "Please...Please...don't..." she begged. I continued my motion forward until her little frame was trapped between my hands and the wall. "What if I ask your father and get the permission to take this girl home?" her confused look suddenly turned in to a smile with a blush somewhere and it clearly told me she after all had no problem with me. I moved back, freeing her and started with the work. She too helped me. In no time, my gang was there coughing and singing to embarrass me and Roli to the core. I always tried to protect her from their teasing and she almost felt safe with me. The day passed very beautifully with her presence making my atmosphere pleasant. She was definitely moved somewhere, but still her feelings couldn't run over her love for her dad. I knew it and so decided to give her some space which my mom told me to give her. But I was crazily in love with that girl...So much that she almost seemed to be my lifeline... Meethi sighed reading the update she couldn't believe that the Siddhant who loved Roli so much in the past tried to kill her a day ago. What has gone so much wrong that perfect love story turned to a hate story? She had no answers and she knew the diary could only give her the answers.
