PART 18 It was with damn crazy interest that Meethi red the next update. She was much taken in to their story. It seemed almost like a fairytale. But still it was not. It was the story of a man and a girl who lives before her. Who acted like strangers, but never was. Forgetting everything else, Meethi started reading rest of the update. OCTOBER 19, 2011 The day was so fresh, with flowers blooming all over our campus. It was our last day at work for college day, because the next day is a Sunday and we can't do much of the work. Roli entered the auditorium where I had already reached with my friends. Nimisha tried her to make Roli uncomfortable so as to make her closer to me. I supported Roli at every instant. But Roli wasn't after all a fool to feel that it was all alone the idea of my friends. She sometimes threw glances at me which almost seemed to be daggers. But I didn't care for some reason. I kept making her shy by winking at her and touching her then and there while doing some small chores. With the sort of reaction from her side, I felt it the right time to execute my next plan. The whole day passed in intense amount of work. I managed to keep Roli at work until it was almost 8 in the night. As Roli glanced at the watch, she looked really worried. "he Khanna ji... it's already late..Rithi must be alone at home..." she said worriedly. "Rithi?" I asked hearing a totally new name. "My little sister...' she replied me. I had of course heard about her sister, but haven't known her name."You're too concerned about her?" I asked knowing her answer would be a yes. "No...I'm not..." she said in the most sarcastic tone. I laughed at her comment and her cheeks became red in anger. "Okay, okay what do you need now? You got to go home?' I asked hiding my laughter and acting way too serious. "Or else what? I got to go now...I'm leaving..." she fetched her bag and was about to go. "Ae...Stop..Stop..You're gonna go alone in this night? That too in the Delhi city...Very funny..." I said. "Then what should I do? Should I stay here all night?' she asked quite angrily. No..Why should you do that when your hero is here for your service, I'll leave you home..." I said smirking. "Ji...No...I would better go alone than coming with you...Move aside...' she said in a very impulsive manner. She started moving when I hold her hands and prevented her from moving. She looked me with burning eyes, but somewhere in those eyes was a soft look, a look for which I longed. "Wait...I'm not a jerk to molest you when you'll come with me...And again, if you don't believe me ok...Nimisha...Just come with me..we got to leave Roli at home...tell Aswin that I need his car.." Roli seemed to be a bit convinced. Nimisha came with the car keys and took Roli with her. I sat in the car and signaled the girls to get in. Roli was about to sit back when Nimisha pushed her to the front seat and closed the door. Roli was startled with her sudden action and even more uncomfortable with the bump she had me in the process. "Just that Bhabhiji should sit in front..." Nimisha giggled and entered the backseat. We started our journey. As and when I touched her soft hands in the pretense of changing the gear or similar stuff. She glared at me in the course but I didn't care for her anger. I correctly drove to her home which left her surprised. you know my home Siddhantji..." she asked all bolt from the blue. "First and foremost, I don't want you to call me Siddhantji...Call me by name...I agree you should respect your future hubby, but not this much..."Roli looked quite shocked at my comment and darted her eyes away from me. Secondly...I've done a good research on you, which may include your background as well..' she made a no way expression and got out of the car. I and Nimisha followed her. As she entered the gate a girl of about 13 or so rushed to her. "Di...Why are you so late?" I got that the girl was her little sister. "Hi..." I waved at her. She looked at me confused. "Don't be confused...I'm your future jiju..." I said in a cool tone. I expected the girl, Rithi to make a serious expression as her sister. But she smiled nicely. Anyway, I'm gonna call you Bhaiyya...if I'm right, your name is Siddhant, right?" this time I was the one who was shocked. Roli stared at Rithi and made an angry expression. I gazed at Roli quite naughtily and Nimisha clapped. "Come on Rithi...We'll go in...Thank you...' she was about to stir in with Rithi when I stopped her. "Areyy...I left you here and won't you invite me to your home.." I asked very naughtily. "Of course, Bhaiyya...Come in..." said Rithi whilst Roli stared at her as if she'd burn her to ashes. "No..No...not in this night..You can come in some other time..." I understood her mindset and smiled. "Ok..But I'll come in some other time...Bye Rithi dear..." I waved bye to Rithi whilst she hugged me affectionately. "hai..What a jiju saali jodi right?' commented Nimisha much to Roli's embarrassment. "Okay..Rithi come in no...It's late...I got to prepare dinner...' she walked towards her home with Rithi. Is stood there expecting a gaze from her but she didn't. She just went in. Nimisha laughed at me. But next moment, I saw her out again acting as if she's taking a book from the portico. I smiled very badly, or better said devilishly and she too smiled somewhere. I waved bye to her, sat in the car and left. Back home, I described all the events to my mom and told her my future plan. She smiled at me and asked me to go ahead. But she still reminded me not to hurt her or humiliate her. I promised her I won't any such. That night too, the girl spoiled my sleep. But the best part is, I love this feeling. And If I'm right, she'll also be feeling the same... Meethi sighed as she read the update. She felt really different. She wished if everything was alright between Roli and Siddhant. Siddhant, Roli..I don't know what separated you...but if I can solve the issues between you both, I'll definitely do that...I'll definitely reunite you..."

PART 19 Meethi continued reading with extra interest. She wanted to know what Sid's next move was. She adjusted her blanket, sat up in the bed more comfortably and started reading. OCTOBER 20, 2011 As decided already, I started from my home taking blessings of elders. Actually Ma had disclosed my interest to my family. Like any other time, they were in support of my choice, except for my selfish bhabhis who wanted their sisters to be the daughter in law of our house. Mathaji blessed me and I started off. I went in my car for a change and picked my friends too. All of us were decently dressed and even Nimisha who found pleasure in Jeans and shirt managed to wear a salwar. And finally we reached our destination. Roli's house. We slowly entered the sit out of that small yet beautifully maintained house. I really felt a chill over my body, but I somehow rang the calling bell. Within few seconds, the door was flung open. And there stood the angel of my life, Roli in a simple and very simple cotton salwar with her long hair tied up in a bunch. Her eyes which lacked kajal rolled in shock as she spotted us. "You...Here...now??? Why???" she asked in extreme shock. I told you I'll come in sometime...thought I was joking?" I asked her very naughtily. She was visibly tensed. She looked in and out and rubbed her hands in tension. Her look and that tension made me to fall for her even more. A particular serenity adorned her simplicity. Suddenly I heard a voice from inside. "Roli beta...Who's out?" it was confirmed that it's her dad and so without asking her, we got in or literally broke in. Roli followed us trying to control us but to no avail. I saw her father, a pleasant man in late fifties. "Beta...Who are you?' asked him to me. "Uncle...I got to talk something to you...Serious..." I said in a polite tone. He smiled and asked Roli to bring coffee for us. She reluctantly went in gesturing me not to spill the beans. I smiled very naughtily at her with my eyes telling her I'll make everything perfect. Uncle asked us to occupy seats and we diod. As heasked about the reason of our arrival, I started in a low tone. "Uncle...I'm Siddhant Bharadwaj...you must be knowing Nirmala devi Bhardwaj...I'm her grandson..." "Nirmalaji's grandson...Ya of course... I know your grandma...long time relationship...But why are you here beta???" he asked me. "Ya papa...Yesterday Di had extra work in college...So Bhaiyya only left Di home...You know he's so good.." Rithi supported me to the core and winked at me. I did the same. She obeyed him and started serving the coffee to us. When it came to me, her hands slightly shivered and I didn't forget to touch her hands in pretense of taking the coffee from her. She looked at me rolling her eyes and I winked at her. She suddenly moved back and stood at the back of Rithi. Uncle started speaking "Roli..beta..He told me everything..." Roli looked at her father in a very frightened way because she didn't know what I said. "So beta...He told me he wish to marry you...in my view he's very good and I know his Maathaji since long...Very good family...he understands our present financial condition too... So I personally appeal to the alliance...All I need to know now is your opinion... So tell me beta, do you like him?" My heartbeats became high as Roli looked at me. I pleaded with my eyes to say a yes. She looked down, closed her eyes and then after 2 minutes, begun in a low voice "Papa...if you're ok with it...I don't have any objection" And my heart leapt in joy. I looked at her in a very contented manner and she smiled. Uncle and Rithi smiled whilst my friends hugged me and congratulated me. "Okay then...I promise you Siddhant Beta..My daughter will be yours..." I was so happy. I took blessings from uncle and Rithi hugged me. We did hi fi and I gave her a big bar of chocolate. Uncle and Roli smiled as they saw our bond "thank you uncle..Thank you so much...I promise, I'll keep your Roli like a diamond...". Uncle smiled at me. Roli was still not looking me. But I was happy, finally ewe are going to get a lifetime to look each other. Now it was time to leave. Pakka, I was not in a mood to leave my Roli and go, but I had to. I again took blessings from uncle and waved bye to Rithi. My friends did the same. I looked in to Roli's eyes asking consent to go, and she smiled and went in. It was enough, more than enough for me. As I entered the car I looked at the window of her room. There she was smiling at me. I winked at her mischievously and she blushed. I waved her bye and drove back. The day was particularly good for my friends who got endless treats in the happiness,. My family was also happy. Mathaji promised our marriage after I complete my course. Ky mom was also very happy that she was going to get the bahu whom her son wished. Today I'll sleep properly, because I'm sure, I'll get Roli in my life to enlighten it... Meethi looked deeply at the pages. She couldn't understand what went wrong. If Roli was so much loved by everyone in this family, then how did she go out of Sid's life? She was determined to find it, for the key was still with her.

PART 20 Meethi was in deep thoughts. At one side, she had the present where Sid even dares to kill Roli and at another side is the past wherein he was ready to die for her. Two contrasting sides and the truth that binds both and makes things unclear. Meethi wanted, at any cost to know about the break in the relationship of Roli and Siddhant. She sat up to read the next updates. 21 OCTOBER 2011 A month have passed since I met Roli for the first time and now she's all set to be mine. Being college day, the programs were scheduled for evening. All the volunteers were busy at their respective workstations. Roli was of course there, but mostly hiding behind Nimisha to escape from me. Nimisha developed a sudden affection towards Roli in the attempt to tease me. She was not allowing me to meet Roli and was testing my patience. "Nimisha...Please...I'll buy you whatever you want...but just leave us alone yaar..." I almost begged to her taking her to a corner. Roli was keenly watching us. I wondered if she had any problem with our friendship. Then my first thing should be to clear is that for me my friends are my precious stuff which I would like to keep forever. It was Sid. Seeing Sid after getting to know bit of his past was different for Meethi. The monster figure he had in her mind has vanished to thin air and somewhere a hero worship had stated in her. As she stared at him he flashed his fingers over her face to bring her out of her deep thoughts. "Meethi...Where are you last? Actually Sunandha aunty told me you're Ill and that you can't make it to office today...Well...That's ok...But here there are some files, I don't want ypou to check them, but just sign them when you're free..." he finished in the same official tone. "Actually Roli checked them yesterday and she's not a person who makes mistakes...She's caref..." As Sid tend to complete his words he felt it rather foolish. Last day he justified the murder attempt' by blaming Roli careless and today...Shit yaar...What you have done...His inner voice screamed. Meethi's lips felt a sudden urge to smile but that couldn't be done. So as much like many words she wanted to say, she swallowed the smile as well. "Ya...She's reliable.." Meethi said in a very ignorant tone. This helped Sid to gain his lost confidence. "Well Meethi...take rest..I got to go...bye...and files...please take care.." Sid walked away leaving Meethi smiling. "However you hide it, Siddhant, you still love her...And if I'm, right madly...All I need to know is the factor which...OMG...Why I'm wasting time...I got to read the diary..." Meethi rushed in, kept the files on the desk. and took the diary from the secret position. She again sat back to continue reading.
