thank you so much didi...and I understand ur feelings...me too feeling the same. I write so as to reduce my frustration. and sorry for not commenting on ur ss. just bcuz I was busy with exams...im reading them now...

Days were passing soon and there were just three days left for marriage. Now it was time for another important ritual, of course, the mehendhi .The girls sat up with their hands decorated with mehendhi. Roli and Jhanvi blushed as Sid's and Amar's names occupied their hands respectively. Though Sid was quite busy with the arrangements, his eyes didn't fail to reach his Roli, his love. Roli too noticed him and smiled. In midst of the program Roli felt thirsty. She didn't want to disturb anyone and so she walked to the kitchen excusing herself. Sid who was waiting for the right chance went behind her. Roli did go near the water purifier, but she couldn't find any way to drink as her hands were all filled with mehendhi. As she stood confused, Sid went behind her and made a Pooh' sound scaring the life out of her. Roli looked at him annoyed and rolled her eyes.

Roli: Siddhantji...You...You took away my life...Who'll play like this?


As she continued her tantrums Sid closed her mouth and looked straight in to her eyes.

Sid: Areyy...How much will you talk? What I did? I just scared you right? You're talking as if I ...


Roli removed his hands of her mouth and looked at him doubtfully. She was quite sure that he'd of course make some new drama.


Roli: If you???

Sid: I came to say that you're reacting as f I hugged you or kissed you or did something better...


Roli: speaking as if you never did all these...


Sid: What did you say?


Roli: Nothing...see, I'm going.


She was about to stir out when he caught hold of her and pulled her closer.

Sid: Why are you going so? You came to drink water na? Here drink...

He gave her a glass of water and made her drink. She smiled and was about to go when he blocked her again.


Sid: Anyways you're here...Show me your mehendhi...Let me spot my name in it...


Roli: Why now? You can see it very well after our marriage, on our fist night as custom demands...


Sid: Oh no...I got no time to waste for all these silly things on that day...Don't you remember? I promised to make you moan...


Roli: siddhantji...

Sid: Okay, okay...then show me your mehendhi and go now...I'll deal with you day after tomorrow.


Roli with a smile showed her mehendhi decorated with the design and even better with his name to him. Sid smiled.


Sid: Roli...It's really beautiful...And I must say, I'm really lucky to be the one who's going to have all the rights upon you...


Roli: It's not you, but me who's lucky to get a life partner like you.


Sid: really? Then give me something in that happiness.


Roli: Siddhantji...Are you interested in spoiling my Mehendhi? If not leave me?


Sid: Yeeah...Go now...but only to come back to me soon...

Roli smiled and left as Sid continued gazing at her.


The function too got over with all colors and happiness.
