I agree that it was wrong for simar and roli to hide the truth from surbhi. Just out of humanity, they should have told her. This would have helped her in the long run. But as far as trying to commit suicide, it is wrong. Prem accepted her as his life partner but did not and would not ever love her because he loved and will always love simar. It would make sense for surbhi to marry someone that would love her, so suicide is dumb for them to show. I know that she loved him, but he didn't love her. It was merely a compromise for Prem. I am a rosid fan but for premar fans, it doesn't make sense for her to attempt suicide. And I hope they don't make her character negative because she is so sweet from the beginning!
