NOPE... not a thread to compare the 2 beautiful cities 😆but to discuss the life of the SGP characters that dwell in it...😃

Salaam Namaste my dear SGPians... 🤗...

Let me start with Mumbai first:

I appreciate some issues discussed in the episodes ... the golguppa/pani poori corner stirred up the unhygienic issue which is evident and voice was raised against it... Again the qatar for paying the bills keeps getting longer and longer... thanks to the handling of personal calls by the counter-man concerned... corruption issue too took a flying mention out there... so brillant scripting considering these do need a mention when spoken about Mumbai...😃

Most of the mumbai residents prefer the maids and the demand for them is quite high... the honesty in the maids is given a good mention... which i consider good as all the maids employed in my house till now were very efficient, hard-working and honest...👍🏼.

But somewhere i had expectations with Mumbai to show up with Suhana getting more responsible with settling in... setting up all alone and in a new place takes some time and efforts... i desired to see various small but vital stuffs like an excited Suhana calling up BM/Rano to make a list of provisions for the kitchen, planning and doing the decors. acc. to their taste, both shopping together for various requirements for the house etc...

though agree they have shown briefly in a truly Suhana way ... she buying 5 kg veggies, asking out Meena for the same, showing responsible side of hers by paying the bill...missing and calling out the elders for the procedure of karva chauth etc... BUT... i wud have loved it even more if a proper settling in and some maturity on her responsible side wud have been shown...😃.!

DELHI:

I love the way Inder-Panna react on seeing BP... He deserves every bit of hatredness of theirs... In my family ...have witnessed cousins of mine hating out their father for deserting the family of 5 at a young age...No one knew where he dwelt, and the reason for his disappearance...He occasionally visited them dined but never bothered to ask about the children or got involved with the family matters... and again disappears without a reason. the children ignored him badly... but never told him to stay out of their house... coz he is related to their mom too and they feel it wud n't be correct to take and spell out decisions on her behalf... Till she was alive... this continued... now she is no more... and no idea about the father... whether he is alive or dead...!

So such characters do exist in our lives... Seeing this... i feel till BP was out of sight... the betrayal hurt BM, the hurt made her stronger than before , She accepted it , moved on as a daughter of the kashyap parivaar...BUT she missed out on her marital life... BP's sudden entry into the house... he is in front of her 24/7... a ummeed ki dor strangely runs thru her mind...she becomes weak as a wife... her hope that possibly life is giving her a chance to gather the scattered pieces back into form... value of mangal sutra has stirred up the fear of losing him now... She is going thru a tough phase now as her mind and heart r running in 2 different tracks... Her anxiety in knowing BP's medical reports showed it all... a bow to the CT for this scene... I loved the Delhi... can say more than Mumbai... BM seems wrong on the face of it... but only a person who wud step into her shoes wud understand the dilemma she is in ...!

DELHI vs MUMBAI

I kept thinking why the abhishek-Sona brought all of a sudden... if not mistaken i felt a strange connection of theirs with BP-BM...

It was more about the MENTAL torture in BM's case and a PHYSICAL ABUSE in Sona's case... Both handling things in their way...but TOLERANCE seems to be their common way of handling it... The marital woes and its shades...

The termtolerance has been redefined in SGP by BM and Sona. I just don't understand why BM behaved the way she did after hearing the medical report and I also couldn't fathom why Sona is bearing all the physical abuse. BM and Sona look the most confused characters to me in SGP and to add to their woes BM has Dadi and Sona has Ishaan. Now this is what I call

"Phooti Kismat" dushman toh khair dushman hain, par yahaan toh saath nibhaane waale bhi gaye guzre hain

As said before Tejbhai, BM's state of mind is currently going thru a mist...where she is not able to see BP the way others view him... Even before she has mentioned to Suhana about him in good light ...😕..That was more shocking for me when she supported him then and till now not understood why...😆😆

But today circumstances have made her weak... the fear of losing him once again... the fear of his ill-health... r hacking her mind time and again...!

She tried her best to stay away from him and make it clear to him that he is OUT of his life before... but seeing him 24/ 7 in a ill state under the same roof has put her in a dilemma...His absence has been a trauma and now his presence too is...!

Dadi is a MOM tejbhai... i perfectly agree and understand her POV... a Mother will never be able to say this child of mine is the best among the 2...as he has been more responsible etc etc... She will say both the kids r my vision... and i see the world thru the eyes... no 2 perspective at the same time...They r the world to her... Alok and Ishwar will still be cared for with same love and affection by her... being a MOTHER makes all the difference Tejbhai...!

Very well written Laxmi as usual, you never disappoint us with your writing and approach to life.
I was thinking the same since yesterday, Suhana is being used as a public messenger! Monday it was cleanliness and corruption, then a public message on to pay bill on time! Yesterday it was on mehnat ke kamai, through Madhuri a meaning ful dialogue which I liked was " kisi ke kismet toh nahi Chura saktay mai toh aisaieech rahongee" . So Suhana till now has done nothing at all to progress as a person, she is bored, she has nothing to do all day , well some people are that lucky ! But the excitement to see the promo and thinking it would be good was lost.
The connection between Sona and BM ? I can't connect to it. I can only connect to this point that Ishaan got married with blessing of his family, his married life was shaky , his elders helped to stabilise it, that is relatable , Sona didnot take his father's blessing , she is suffering in her case and she can't get help from her Dad( she thinks that and she is wrong no father would leave his daughter in this situation) .
I agree with Tejesh about the kind of help BM and Sons have! Both useless!
Suhana would be the best option for Sona as Abhishek needs confrontation that what you are doing is criminal, and a harsh approach is needed, fight and flight both and Suhana would be the best option. Ishaan lacks that ability, they are missing an opportunity to make Suhana realise another aspect of life, RB suffered the worst scenario, Sona is equally suffering from domestic violence, instead of using it as s cause of drift they should use it as a team work by Ishaan and Suhana, make it the original SGP way.

@red that was heights seriously. I remember those lines which she said to Suhana and showed that stylish blouse which BP wanted her to wear😆

@Dadi I know she is a mother. All I am saying is its BM's bad luck that her support system is not fully supporting her.😃

This pretty much summed up Mumbai and Delhi for me. 👏

I feel that Dadi and Ishaan are only catalysts for enlarging the track and adding more issues to it by the CVs. Ishaan's uselessness is going to pave the road for Sushaan jealousy season two...while Dadi will just keep BP int he Kashyap house longer for more tension and prolonged drama.

laxmi , sheema di, tejas... all your arguments are valid... but but but... i think BM must be undergoing mental torture at the moment... watching old episodes.. i realized that she does care for him a lot and remembers all his little incidents.. like stitching a button... celebrating and occasion with him etc when similar things were happening to the other members of the family... when raunak came back... she could mentally hear MP saying shailu i am back... so she did wishfully think of his return... but at the same time she cannot forget that he deserted her and her children for another woman and made a family of his own.

she must be going through a lot of mental kashmakash... then again on one side she is thinking that because of her... he is being alienated from his parents ... and on the other the hatred of her children towards the father...

to sort out so many emotions will need a lot of clear thinking and time...

on one hand she doesnt like his attitude towards the family like RB and disha... on the other hand she is very scared for his health ... after all he was her husband.. and in the indian culture.. pati is the parmeswar...

this kashmakash will take some time to be sorted out... we will just have to wait and see which wins.. her head or her heart...

Nicely Written Laxmi !!! 👏 I don't watch Mumbai scenes at all times . What U wrote abt setting up a house , need to call 10 times a day to know what to do ? Well , That's missing big time .

as for Sona , She is filling guilty for taking a step with out her Dada's blessing . I have seen girls from conservative family behave in such manner . But Sona doesn't fit the bill . Hope U know what I mean . She was outspoken , outgoing personality , but girls who r shy , reserved behaves in such manner as they don't have confidence of taking another wrong step or something . otherwise It is as real as It can get .

As for Abhishek is not the person who would understand what he is doing is wrong . There is treatment , medications but TRUST is not something U just get in a day , Problem is Abhishek doesn't trust Sona ... He feels she will do things behind his back ... How can U solve a problem like that . I believe Only Doctors can help . Not even Ishan - Suhana . At the same time Sona should ask her self one Essential Q " Do I LOVE him ? " If Yes , then get the treatment otherwise Leave . Until Sona knows for sure , Nooone can help her .

I don't think Confrontation is the Ans. here that too by Suhana . Nothing against Suhana but How can U confront the Psycho ? !!!! 😕

I love Delhi Scenes , This is by far my Favorite Track .

Sona married to abhishek itself sounds weird seeing the maturity in her before...😆... so i find their love isstory a flop......

Reg. Suhana appr. towards Abhishek... yes i agree ... 100 %... she is the best... OMG... tumhaari himmat kaise hui??? and her logical blah-blah might bring him to senses...😆

i don't think this issue will create tension in Sushaan's life... if shown that way... then i am 🤢
