Yeah, the convo wasn't too long...I said, "Heeey is this Keenu?" And she was like, "Yeah, hey Ekta!" And then we talked a little about our voices and both of us said that both of us sound good. 😆 Then we talked general stuff about school, how she's taking all these classes about animals and how I enjoy evolutionary biology, etc, etc...we also talked about both of us talking Punjabi...apparently my Punjabi sounds a bit different but she still understood everything that I would say in Punjabi...I scolded her for gambling and asserted my right as her amma. Then we talked about food and how Keenu loves trying everything out whereas I stick to things that I like...so Keenu scolded me a little for not taking risks with food...I explained my ideology on that, etc, etc...then we gossiped a little about SGPians...basically who we talked to so far. I was flattered and pretty happy to know I was first SGPian Keenu talked to over the phone. 😃😆 And that was pretty much it...I had to hang up because I already lost five dollars talking to her. And only had few cents left. 😆 Overall, she's a very pleasant girl...sounds quite mature actually...and she did sound like how I kinda imagined her to sound. She definitely isn't a talker on phone but we managed to talk quite a bit as you can see. So yeah...it was fun.
