yes...costume nd makeup of the actors of SGP makes the show look more realistic and simple... otherwise i m seriously tired of seeing so called favorite actresses of most of TV shows with excessive makeup, heavy sarees and jewelleries and also with exessive expressions nd reactions😡

I love the way Ragini is dressed. She simple yet very stylish. Simple accessories also enhance her look. This dipicts the fact that she has had a lavish lifestyle and even though shes a bahu of a middle class family now, she isn't going give up on her glamorous side. (which is a good thing I think because its always nice to dress up! Lol😆) Of course she is stunning and saris are very flattering on her curvacious figure.

I love the simplicity of Badi ma and Dadi. My monthr dresses like them so yes they're are real in their portrayal.😃

That is just one of the many reasons why I love SGP! Everybody dresses so normally and so simply with minimal makeup, yet they still look good! And Suhana actually wears a night dress when she goes to sleep!! I am so sick and tired of watching lead actresses going to sleep in their heavy saris that we would wear to a big party and their heavy makeup and waking up looking like they're going to a wedding!

While other shows and their makers pretend that they are showing "real life" SGP is probably the only show on TV that actually comes close to showing real life from clothes to people's reactions, of course with some drama.

yet another reason to LOVE SGP...I esp love Ragini's style and saris...the saris she wears are amazing..I wish she would dress in salwars as well.....but same with Rajni/Disha saris...their saris are cute too..

If the Indian shows change their type of presentation ( not only romance yawn* clothes, trying different scenarios and most imp stick to their story) then the mindset of the viewers can also be changed.

Otherwise this same old saas bahu, ronadhona, Indian girl always suffers etc will continue and the distance between the rural and urban people thinking will keep on increasing.

Media is indeed very powerful weapon, I wish it gets better.
