Man, this is one factor I'm really thankful for in SGP. I'm honestly sick and tired of watching women in tv shows being so gaudily dressed up and looking as if their going to attend a wedding anytime whether it be day or night. Its soooo unrealistic and absolutely silly

I like what Ragini wears in the show. They just kind of overdo her earings but generally its all pretty good, specially her suits.

SGP is quite close to what people normally wears at home( although they should tone down on Rano,s makeup and Dadi,s as well) Rajni, Disha and Radha Bua are all right, Suhana is awsome but she doesnot wear makeup when she is in her NORMAL night suits or early in the morning, and if you notice even the men of the family wear normal everyday clothing unlke many other serials , silk shirt and embrored kurtas, yuk

@blue..absolutely right...the men wear very simple and apt clothes...simple shirts and kurthas..really good...

I agree..The Costumes of all the actors is kept very simple..Acoording to the Chandni chowk style 😊

Plus its kept in mind that they are wearing all this in normal routine days..So its such a releif to look at a family which is somewhat very close to NORMAL 👍🏼 👍🏼

Love it..Also they have shown the women of the house with very lil makeup..Especially when they just get up..They donot have heavy makeup with those heavy jewellery sets 😳

Exactly shewtha, even I can count how many colourd t-shirt Ishaan has got!!! a red one, a white, one black and one bottle green, plain same brand which he wears them at home, just as the way us NORMAL citizens have them in our household. His check,s Shirts, he has got 3!!!!
Disha, Rajni, Radha Bua , Bari Maa has repeated many times. One of the biggest reason for the popularity of SGP among young generation is that they can RELATE to it. I to just love SGP , I dont watch any other serials.

that's why i love watching SGP.we can relate to everything in it be it the content,family setting,costumes etc.even though suhaana comes from very rich family her sarees are still simple(plain with simple border many of times)when compared to heavy sarees and jewellery worn by even middleclass women in other soaps.

thankgod suhaana wears night gowns while retiring to bed while we see other protagonists -ghoongat aur zevar se sote hai aur udte hai-no misplacement.
