Re: Ishaan - He agreed to marry her knowing her past, her nature, her temperament fully well. He wanted to marry her. For a shy guy like him who has no great aspirations in life, Suhana was like an unreachable star. And when the opportunity came to reach out for the star, he grabbed it with both hands. But he forgot that a dazzling star can leave a burn on your hand. So he has to bear the consequences of his greed.
He will tame her and she will excite him. Together these two will be an awesome combination.

You are right on dot about Suhana.
But I have different thoughts about Ishaan though. I am somehow not convinced he married Suhana to achieve an unachievable. The first time Ishaan set his eyes on Suhana he fell in love with her.
Their first face-to-face interaction was when Suhana hits Ishaan's scooter with her car.. while she kept yelling at him, he was admiring her. Even as he was driving off, he was looking back with a smile and a spark in his eyes, still admiring her.
Their second interaction was at Poltangunj? (excuse me if I got the place wrong) where she sat on his lap and had him say I Love You. And she said I love you although her purpose was to make Sid jealous. He was awe struck with that incidence.
Their third interaction was in a restaurant when Sid refused to marry her and Suhana was begging him to marry her...
Ishaan could not bear to see her being humiliated. He walks up to her picks her up and walks her away from Sid. And he complements her saying Sid doesn't deserve her.
This incidence is more than enough to conclude it was Love at First Sight for Ishaan. He adores her. Just seeing her smile gives him immense pleasure.
When
the rishta came, he assumed she is over with Sid and starting her life afresh. He had no clue Suhana was getting married only to prove she is marriage material. Funny, she is living i
n Kashyap family, only to prove to Sid she is not a loser
. That's what I genuine feel why Ishaan maried Suhana..
