I'm guessing the biggest charm of the show and the high point was all centered around Lolita amalgamating into the family and falling for Ishaan.....now that that's done, they sound confused....but I wonder why.....can't they explore the other storylines like those of Badi Maa's husband?

I wonder what this means for SGP as well then.....doesn't bode well for the future....as it is they aren't going to do the Cancer track....where else will they go once they catch up to OBS in terms of storyline?

They are showing other tracks, such as the Konishko/Raima (Raunak/Panna) one now....that's one subplot that really needs resolution....But even that arc isn't shown frequently enough....Too much time is being taken up by the family doing silly things....They haven't even touched on Badi Maa and her husband's track yet....I guess they feel that if they do that they really are going to have to end it as then there really will be nothing left to resolve....They'll have to come up with new tracks w/o making them seem like some contrived attempt at keeping a show going....

I personally didn't mind the cancer track on OBS too much...I thought it was decently handled and the acting was very good in those epis....My only complaint with it was that they made the tumor malignant (which was ridiculous! I mean, how many ppl are likely to recover from that?) and that it dragged for a bit....

Yeah, I'm also kinda worried about what things SGP will come up with since they aren't going to following OBS all that closely after a while....Well, I'm going to keep my expectations down and enjoy things while I can....

Well I've never watched the cancer track....only heard about it....but I believe Shounak mentioned that the creatives have decided not to use that track for SGP.....I'm sure they were emotionally intense epis in OBS no doubt :-)

Honestly speaking, I'm not perfectly happy with the way things are going in SGP these days either....barring some high points once in a while....in general the show has started to drag already with some random silly family scenes in b/w....and sometimes loud acting as there was in today's scene by Inder and Dadiji....seriously the sudden loud crying while telling Dadaji about Imtiaz's death....found it OTT.....I expect better acting from the cast in SGP.

Another issue is the way they are developing the IS relationship in SGP.....dunno how it was in OBS at this point but I feel that they have stagnated them too much in SGP right now to the point that I'm more than tired of watching Ishaan just randomly staring at Suhana in a besotted manner and zoobi doobi playing endlessly🤔.....I'm not asking for them to fall in love overnight but this relationship needs movement....more than Ishaan just staring at Suhana like she's his fav. toy😕.....I think IS are in danger of never managing to look anything more than a platonic pair.

I think the main drawback for SGP is OBS, because when people start watching OBS they will feel like comparing SGP with OBS and then all the cuteness and interest of the show goes. Also the rest of the story will be there in the viewer's mind and wont get a curiosity to watch the show.

In my openion if SGP is the original version, then it would have thrown all other dramas backward and stood in the first position since each and every moment and conversations are very touching. Eventhough most of the people knows about OBS, SGP is able to stand in a good position.

I am in singapore and was watching many hindi dramas before and when SGP aired i have stopped watching all the other dramas, since all the others looks like showing for time pass. I was not knowing about OBS before, so i have enjoyed watching each and every bit of SGP before. But now for curiosity i starded watching OBS and then the thrill which i had before while watching SGP is went down now.

So i have a request to all SGP viewers that dont watch OBS and compare with SGP even if u r curious to know the story, otherwise u will enjoy SGP 100%. It is such a superb drama i have ever seen in Indian television.

Exactly....while I understand that that is his personality...and it really is quite cute the way he looks at her in bemusement and all.....after a point to show the same besottedness and using that zoobi doobi on them like allll the time....it's irritating me.....as for Ishaan....yep he deffo needs to man up....they haven't shown much of a truly assertive Ishaan in a while....he's been stepping back and only repeating all the time that Suhana is free to leave if she wants to....now that that is finally done with, they need to move forward with the IS equation or it will lose it's charm.

and yes its true about Panna and Raunak track .. which will be shown soon. Its going on in OBS as of now... but seems like Konishko (raunak) has lost his memory... the secret is yet to be revealed.
