Nah, the Deepak will come into play a little later if they stick by the story from OBS...but they had showed some of Rajni's backstory on OBS by this time...

Now Suhana's bickering with the neighbor was deffo quite fun to watch....would have loved to see more of it too😆

I'm just thinking back....uptill a month or so ago, there was such a sense of anticipation about how the tracks were unfolding.....they were interconnected well and flowed well....for me atleast....but now I don't get that sense anymore...hmmm

Ok someone had mentioned about SGP skipping Rajni's backstory before as well. I have seen OBS on and off so don't remember watching this and its not like I would understand it anyways coz its all Bengali. If you don't mind can I get a brief overview of what her backstory is?

Well as it was, Rajni's mother had given her away as a child to her sister as they were far too poor to afford having so many children...Rajni's masi (her mother's sister) could not have a child of her own, so she was more than happy to accept Rajni as her child...Rajni's masi was better off than Rajni's biological mother financially as she didn't have any children to look after....Rajni has always been quite resentful towards her mother as a result of this and, by contrast, her brother (who stayed with his bio mother; Rajni's mother) has always been envious that Rajni had the better life as she lived with a relatively well off family...Rajni not only has a very strained relationship with her masi (as she never could accept her fully as her mother), but also has a strained relationship with everyone from her bio family...

Oh Man! Thank you sooo very much. :) This is such an interesting track. I really wish they show it in SGP. There is sooo much scope for Rajini as an individual character. Everyone faces some sorrow in their lives and for Rajini there is maybe a lot of pain hidden behind that smile.

Yeah, I hope they show it on SGP as well...the best thing about the revelation of the backstory is that it wasn't presented as some sort of sob story...it was done in an almost matter of fact, yet perfectly nuanced way...Rajni is such strong character...Her brother came back once to ask for money (which she was unwilling to give cuz she knows his nature; he is just money-hungry in general as he didn't have much of it growing up)...she maintained her resolve in not lending him any money w/o a legitimate reason for doing so...There was no way she was going to risk the financial status of her in-law family who have given so much love to her even for the sake of her brother...She handled that whole issue with her brother w/o mentioning anything to Inder (tho Inder found out himself later on)....I guess it also explains why she is so close to the Kashyap family and why she was kinda strict with Suhana when she sensed her meddling with the peace of the house in the early days of the show...
