Happy Holidays to all & WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND JOYOUS 2012

Scene 1

Saravanan and meenu sitting under a park tree, and Sarav trying to look cool and eyeing meenu, meenu is confused and takes out his goggles and tells him that it is almost time for his bus to come, and he might miss it if he does not move now, sarav says it is okay if he misses the bus, as he will then come right back to her, meenu asks if he has no thought of going back home, and sarav says that he has missed work for a week, so he would rather be there in kaladakurichi. Meenu asks him what will he do in kaladakurichi, for which sarav says Enna pannuveNa, don't you get it I will be a Veetoda Mappillai, and will be so useful around your house, helping out your mom by doing all he shopping, will Iduchify vethalai for your patti, will get the Dinathandhi paper for your dad and you yourself know how good Im at Ironing blouse and sari🤣, meenu says adapavi, so you dont plan on working at all, sarav smiles and says dont you guys have a 2 acre land here i will go and do farming there like rajini in murattu kalai and you will bring kanji like rati😲, meenu says those things happen only in movies, for which sarav says then he will help her brothe out in the rice mill, and meenu says no chance there,and keeps laughing, and sarav is admiring her, and says he is so glad to see her smile, meenu says what he says then what the whole of last week her theme dialogue was saravana i cant handle anything going wrong for you cuz of me, meenu gets mad for namesake, meenu says that her sisters approved her wedding annan hit on his head and said that you do what ever you want, saravanan says we are match made in heaven loosu saravananukku loosu meenaxi😆, sarav says he needs something and meenu asks him to leave, saravanan takes leave.

Now the josiar is looking at the jathakam, and josiar says that 2 days in thai are good so can we have the wedding on that date, tamil says i did not call you, so tell this to whoever called you to do this. josiar asks him to take up the wedding planning of his sister, achi tells the josiar not to jump ships, josiar says achi dont keep hanging on to the past, I was the one who said the wedding should not take place as meenus jathakam is not so good, but if the boy who is going to marry her isnt bothered with this fact we should all feel proud of him and move on with good wishes in our heart, tamil says he does not how we use josiam convinently to suit our needs, and asks them to move on with the wedding

Scene 2

Josiar does further calculation and confirms the 2nd day of thai from 11-1130 as an auspicious time for engagement, and he will let them know about the other details through his assistants. Meenus dad wants to do a good wedding, and the josiar tells some parigaram to be done to lord siva and saneeswara. Tamil wants to stay away from the engagement planning, achi is also not for this. Meenus dad gets up and invites her personally to come to the engagement. Acchi says that added to spoiling meenus mind this motta kannan and son have spoiled my sons mind too.

Scene 3

Saravs dad is bringing a invite for the engagement and his wife interrupts him and aks what it is, so now sarava's dad gives the invite to him and she starts to read and after reading their names she says see there is also another couple exactly with our name😆 when she finally finishes reading the engagement pathirikai she gets it and is not at all pleased so she calls her daughter for her support, and her daughter says yeah dad why did you do this kind of invite you should have picked up a better paper quality to print the invitie, her mom gets mad at her and daughter says oh so you are starting again from the beginiing and starts to chastise her dad for fixing this engagement. Now saravanan is summoned and she complains to saravanan about how his dad as printed the pathrikai for his engagement, saravanan then questions his dad and asks ennappa ippayum ippadiye pannirrukka, mom is all happy, and he immediately says see he always does good for all of us and acts like nothing happened, 😆 mom an ddaughter mad dad and son are celebrating, his mom now says i know all this when you went to sabarimalai you would have gone to meenus house for atleast half an hour and planned all this, both father and son are shocked and dad says didn't i tell you saravana, your mom is very very intelligentu🤣

Scene 4

Mom protests to come to the engagement, and says that they should have consulted her first, and now sister also protests that they should have told her too, as she has to inform her husband in dubai, saravanan is all down and looks at his dad, and his dad whishpers and asks him to throw the spin ball, and saravanan raises his voice and tells amma enna amma, if i would have gotten married when he had met meenu then by this time they could have sent her back home saying she is 3 months pregnant😲😆 but you guys kept fighting for so long and now i really dont want to get married, and then he says appa Im also going to become samiyar like the one whom we met while we were at sabarimalai, now his mom is thinking so the dad says he is going to cancel the wedding so he can become a sanyasi, his mom then says ok fine give me the invite, and looks at it and complains that how come meenus name is in big print compared to hers, the daughter says how come you changed sides so fast and leaves, sarav maskafies his mom and says he is going to take saris for them, and his mom asks what rate are you going to buy a sari for meenu, sarav says if i buy a 10000 rupees sari for you i will only get meenu 9999, you will always be a dollar more than her, mom leaves and sarava looks at us and says kaistam appa

Happy Holidays & New Years! 😊

Part 1: Meenakshi is getting ready to take a bath when her phone rings...as usual from Saravanan😆. Meens correctly guesses that Saro is off at work; while Saravanan is playfully disappointed the Meens is not bathing yet. He even tells her that "he's mood out" after hearing what Meens said, to which she responds "I thought if I told you this your mood will increase, not go out". Saro is in semma shock😲, before Meens quickly clarifies that it was only a joke (😲adi paavi, Saro'odu serinthu neeyum avana maathriya joke ellum sollra😆).

Discussion then turns to the engagement invitations. Saro says why didn't you print in a more modern invitation (ippo ithu romba mukiyama? ippathan Meenu finally 'yes' solliruka, athukulla yen pa new problema start panra?😆😆😆). Meens replies that she likes the older versions, especially the pink and yellow colours. Saro replies by saying that as long as you [Meens] like them, it's okay. Meens also cheerfully points out that if Saro doesn't like the invitations now, they will print some differently for their marriage (ippovai marriage'ikku plans aa? athuikulla yenna ellamo problems vaara pogutho...😕). Then Meens inquires about Saro's mom. Saro jokes by saying that his mom is planning to learn Karate and Meens says she knows Kalari...Saro jokes, saying that he can watch Kung Foo movies at home now😛. Finally it's time to cut their phones, but both don't want to hang up (Saro says "naan eppovumai unna cut panna matten Meenakshi"😳😳😳). Eventually, after a countdown they both hang up.

Scene then shifts to Saro's house; Meens's dad is arranging the plate to hand over an invitation to Saro's dad. Saro's dad jokes that the apples are too small😆, and Saro's instantly defends Meens's dad. Saro's dad laughs and tells Meen's dad that already Saro is on their [Meens' family's] side. Meens's dad also says that Meenakshi is the same way towards Saro's family (😳😳awww). Now its time to call Saro's mom, and both Saro and his father don't want to go call her. But Saro finally forces his dad to call his mom. His mom, as usual, is grumpy😕😕😕. She grudgingly comes to accept the invitation and is very cold towards Meens's dad. He once again apologizes for the past which flies right past her ears (paavam Meen's dad😔). She makes unreasonable demands, but Saro's dad quickly samlichifies👏👏👏 and sends Meens's father off. The only duty for Saro's family is to buy an engagement sari for Meens😃.

Part 2: Scene shifts to Saravanan's office. He makes fun of Yamini, before finally asking her to come to his engagement (Meens'ikku maatum therinchu thu, apparam irruku Saro'ku😛). Yamini, predictably, gets annoyed and refuses...before saying that she still can't understand why he [Saro] wants to marry Meens, who has caused many problems in Saro's life😡. Saro says that he can "smell her stomach burning"😆😆😆 and asks her for the last time whether or not she'll come to his engagement. Yamini say no and tells Saro to go marry that "paadi kaadu ponnu" (😲😲😲yarru Meens paadi kaadu ponna?), before walking out. And Saro then exclaims that he can never understand the hearts of women😆😆😆.

Part 3: Saro calls Meenaksi and they both start teasing each other. Meens finally asks him why he called, and he says it's to figure out how much money she needs for her engagement sari. Meens first jokingly asks for 5 lakhs and Saro states that amount is enough to buy a whole floor in Pothi's😆😆😆. Meens asks for Saro's budget, and he says about 100 to 150 (😲ada paavi, avalo thana Meens ikku?). Meens says that even her Aachi is asking for a sari which costs 5000😆😆😆, and at the rate of Saro's budget, it looks like their marriage might be cancelled😆😆😆. Saro laughs, before saying what about 3000 to 4000? Meens replies by saying 4000 rupees are enough for the jacket😛, but what about the sari😆😆😆? Saro says "aiyaiyoo" but Meens says, "konchum bothu maatum Nayanthara, Aishwarya Rai endru koopudrai, anna sari edukum bothu maatum Paaravai Munniyama range-ikku budget solrai?👏" Saro smiles, before saying that he'll send all his credit cards and says buy whatever one you like, no matter what the price😳😳😳. Meens replies that I want you to buy it 😳 and she doesn't care what the price is 😉.

Saro's asks will you like what I buy? Meens says that you have already chosen a super girl to be your wife😳😊😳, can't you buy a sari? She says that this is the first sari Saro is buying her and also says that when she opens the sari, she wants to see a fusion of their tastes...she wants to be surprised😊. Saro says don't worry, he'll surprise her😃. She also says that she can't wait to see Saro come over to her house as a groom...finally (unga annan Tamil'ikku thala vaaliya varra poguthu, paaravaliya Meens 😛?). Saro says don't worry, he'll be there. They both say bye, but Saro quickly gives Meens a kiss through the phone. Meens (as usual😊) asks if there is a problem with Saro's phone (saying that she can only hear a "korra korra" sound😆😆😆), before saying that she can't get a tower. Saro promises to build his own tower in Kaladakurichi, if it's the last thing he does😆😆😆. They both laugh and hang up (this is a nice way to end off the year😃 and the next time we see Saravanan Meenakshi, the engagement will be underway😃😃😃).
