I found first half quite silly n stupid.

Kumud taking Saraswati to lake was not bad. The suicide attempt was the last event from her past and recollecting those memories would help as Saraswati was responding to the drama and said it was a gandi kahani.

But Kumud dunking Saraswati😆

The expressions on Kumud's face were of sternness and anger😆😆😆
