Btw just to make us feel good abt our show-
this day last year we saw my the most favorite kumud scene near the lotus pond- 'jaha pyaar hota hai waha jalan nahi hoti' 😊

Great progression in the story aditi since then

'Jahan pyaar hota hai wahan Jalan nahi hoti ' to
' jab shadi ho jaati hai toh pyaar nahi hota '

Arshi,
We should just wait for Mumbai track.
I have started disliking Saras now. Is he real? Or deluded?

Santhi, this is the precursor and build up to Mumbai

Woh kaisa hoga jiski tasveer aisi hai

Aren't we just going to get more of the same then?

As for his comment when your wife gets angry, it means she loves you

- well sure, then Kumud really really loves him! Because the only emotion she shows around him is anger

- in London the whole getting lost happened because he went and spoke to that female INSPITE OF HER TELLING HIM NOT TO

- and now he spends the whole night outside because he booked his tickets WITHOUT ASKING HER

as I said, from her side we get a cycle of

anger, remorse at going away from him, making him suffer, return, hug and the cycle starts all over, anger and waiting for the next opportunity to go away from him, etc.

The relationship which has gone through so much has not progressed at all in communication? Strange!

👏 ... I'm glad to read a different perspective of the happenings.

Kumud keeps saying that she doesn't want to leave Ratnanagari, but she never said she will not leave the Haveli. May be after all these trials and tribulations she just wants to spend time with all the family. Its not trying to make the Vyas boys Ghar Jamais. Her decisions though seem pig headed at that moment they almost always end up in something good(like when she refused to leave the house with Saras after the brothers fight, the way she tried to being out Guman's truth inspite of Saras not cooperating...etc etc).

Saras is also not wrong in asking her to come along with him to Mumbai, opportunities don't don't come along everyday, when they do knock your door you need to make the best use of it.

I don't think it's right to make a villain out of Kumud...and we all know she will not leave Saras alone, they are inseparable, she will ultimately follow him inspite of her nakhras.

I too think there is something more than that meets the eye, why is Kumud sooo reluctant to go to Mumbai. May be the CVs will have a logical explanation at the end of it.

Mean while...I appreciate the positiveness in your post ❤️

I hope there is something more than meets the eye, I wish it didn't have to be this way, this unreasonable behavior of Kumud is really bothersome

And as for them being inseparable! Are they?

Is there any warmth and communication in their relationship ?

Isn't their marriage the classic case of together for the sake of family only?

Kumud could forget about her school, about Saras being alone and his pain and run off to Chandni bazaar without even informing him or anyone else

I am sorry, it makes her a great detective with a nose for mysteries but a lousy wife

Even in London, why did she disappear? Oh yes, he spoke to a woman against her orders !

Now why doesn't she want to leave? Why should she tell him? He had better cancel his plans or spend his night outside the door!

Is this cute? Is this romantic and loving? Is this even a marriage at all?

Aap ke charan kahan hain. How well u said.

I gave a long rope to her character. At times I do feel she is hiding her intentions and its not that bad. But I would not mind if she argues hard with some logic. Use some words. Have a pillow fight. But she is tooo cold. Stays at a very safe distance. As if he is an untouchable.

Thank you! I agree with the bolded especially. It's not that Saras is wrong to ask her to go with him as his wife, it's just the timing of it sucks. It missed his sharp mind that she may want to be surrounded with the family she almost lost.

did she give any reasons for not going to him

Also, Kumud is being expected to just give up her teaching just to go follow him and cook and clean so that might not be her ideal wish either.

again, has she sat him down and explained it to him, he wants her to go, he has made it obvious

I agree, it's not fair to vilify Kumud after every physical and emotional thing she has been through lately. Saras could not have found his brother without her support and encouragement, so he needs to give her some credit.

would he not have? Maybe they would have found kabir without the trauma of Chandni bazar and getting bombed in London, maybe he would have had a better plan, aren't we talking hypotheticals? He does give her credit, he has said so multiple times.

Again repeating, she went through all that because she didn't think things through, kept him out of the picture, left after lying to him, all that could have been spared had she discussed and talked to him first

She will ultimately follow him true, I think she needed more time just like Kabir needs time to get over his own wounds. I mean, they were so ready to make Kumud into a mother overnight, you don't think they will try to make Kabir into a husband and father the same way? Although he has had a completely different childhood. They are thinking that Kabir will like someone quiet because he is silent, not that he would like someone a little different from him. It's not that all good wives are "quiet", since when were Kumud and Kusum quiet in and about their married lives? LOL.

again my issue is with extremely poor writing! Saras and Kumud scenes are very very badly written! she is being to made to look arrogant and uncaring and he submissive. To show a marriage of equals where the woman is independent and not dormant to her husband is something the cvs are making a hash of. Kumud who always believed in win win for all, is shown to be overly harsh where Saras is concerned !

Where are the deep and personal husband wife discussions about what they want , and how are together getting there!
I appreciate the positiveness in yours too! 👏

For me, such butchering of Saras and Kumud's characters and such cliched stereotypical handling to their relationship is painful and has killed all positivity !

Santhi, that's what I find amiss, why aren't having a behind the closed doors fight?

Why is she not even allowing him close to her? What sort of writing is this?

As a couple they haven't even discussed it, fought over it, argued talked it out

Does it even occur to writers that that's how married people behave

They are still behaving like teenagers who don't know how to manage their issues!

If Kumud wants to make Saras as Ghar Jamai, then he will loose his self respect .

I wanted to just clarify a few things her esp to Trina and Simmer and to all others too
1. This annoyance with the present Mumbai nahi jaoongi is not against Gautam and Jen
, so gauti Jen fans please chill

2. It's not even against Saras and Kumud really, because the writers have not allowed these characters to emerge and grow with a consistency

3. It's against the writers who are vacillating in their own interpretation of Saras and Kumud. Who have not sat down and figure out how a couple who have died for each other more than once, will relate to each other

4. The writers have also not figured out how inconsistent with Saras and Kumud's maturity and strength of personality is this shallow behavior from Kumud

5. The annoyance also stems from disappointment of a promise that was - a relationship of equals among two strong individuals who will love each other passionately and intensely and who will also retain their independence through it all, the two being complimentary and not conflicting.

6. I do feel very strongly that Kumud's behavior starting from kusum track has been negative towards Saras, and very need based, she calls out to him when she needs him, and cold or snubbing him otherwise

7. The writers have not been able to manage the complexity of this mature relationship at all and her denigrated it to a superficial marriage with no real connect between Saras and Kumud

But that's what's happening isn't it - he should stay with her ma and bapu, and only keep his business limited to RN
