The new writer may not know all the minute details of previous tracks IMO

I doubt if there are detailed notes kept, if there is a continuity check at all

Otherwise, VC would not have decided to call LN

The haveli woul not have been Dadaji's since it has been mortgaged by VC for LN earlier

And of course Kartar singh would not have happened

And anyway new writers are probably not given enough time to know the old episodes in and out, due to time constraints of a daily soap.

To be fair to Ved Raj, the poor guy was probably told the day he joined :

OK, thinks Ved Raj,

Fun loving = panjabi, sardar ji - no one more fun loving than that

I love you nahi bolti - sardar harasses gilr > girl gets angry > girl shouts I love saras > sardar happy > does bhangra

Done dona done done

yep..wen i saw some latterns in sky sc came in my mind...lol then thought its nothing to do wid kumud's poem or saras's b'dy gift to her...it just they showed another ritual along wid kite flying...but d live view of it

As a standalone act -it was very good. It just didnt fit into the subtlety and sensitivity with which we associate the Saras-Kumud love. Kalika is the worst written character in SC

I was glad yesterday she was regretting marrying Yash, because it was the stupidest thing to do

To marry the down and out son of a pauper VC ( after the factory fire etc) just for revenge was so dumb, she could married Danny - the rich heir to Vyas fortune, that would have more like the mercenary character she was supposed to be

But even now, stopping kumuds marriage is like chopping off your nose to spite your face.

For then Kumuds influence in Desai house would continue.

She logically should push for Samud marriage and then play the card of married daughers and ghar jamais not welcome

And Guman comes and breaks it up

Main Kalika hoti toh pehle kumud ko shadi kar ke ghar se nikalti aur ohir haveli apne naam karti

I just wanna tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts. Its the first thing I do whenever I do manage to log on IF. You're a brilliant writer and you sum up the entire episode so perfectly in just a few sentences and thanks to you, I have a better understanding of the episodes in general :) Your posts are definitely one of the best things here on the forum.. so this is me just appreciating them 😳 I hope you continue as long as SC is on air! :)

Anyway as far as your topic is concerned, I can definitely understand your frustration because I feel the same way and I absolutely blame the new writers for this. I was so dissapointed when I heard Gautam Hedge wasnt writing for SC anymore cuz I think he gave us the best SaMud moments. I hope the new writers dont mess up... SC is loved because of its intensity.. SaMud's intensity!!! Lets see what happens in the future! I hope to see some great stuff with Guman returning back to the show...😃

And its the love for the show and for saras and kumud that keeps us all here. So i hope too that it doesnt go anymore downhill
